Rob Richwine left my home a few hours ago after spending a couple of hours voicing, reshaping the hammers and tuning my piano. All I can say is «wow»! Sounds so good, I can’t stop playing it. I have had many piano tuners over the years but Rob is a standout. This man KNOWS pianos and is definitely an authority on the inner workings of the instrument. His prices are more than fair and he is a nice guy too! I highly recommend his services. If you need your piano tuned(and you probably do!), give Richwine Piano Tuning a try. You will not regret it.

I have a 1950’s spinet that has had no work done in 15 years. Rob arrived early(he called ahead) and even though I had thought only 2 keys needed repair, as soon as he started the tuning it turned out all of the keys’ plastic connectors started breaking(I hadn’t played in years). Even though he hadn’t planned on this much more lengthy repair he repaired every key and tuned the piano that afternoon – no second appointment needed. His price was extremely reasonable. Even my mother, who bought the piano back in the 50’s was impressed. Rob is personable and very competent. Really knows pianos. And importantly, will not up-sell you. He even suggested I may not need the customary re-tune in 6 mos – it could go for a year. That can’t be good for business. Recommend Richwine 100%.

Rob has been tuning the pianos at my music school for the last few years. He always does a great job, shows up on time and finishes when he says he will. His prices are also very affordable as well — especially for someone who needs to get multiple pianos tuned more than once a year. Highly recommend!

Rob Richwine arrived at the scheduled time this morning and proceeded to take a look at my piano. Some damper flanges were broken, and Rob indicated he needed to take out the piano’s action to be able to make the repairs and determine how many needed to be replaced. He indicated that if there was too much damage and I decided it was not worth fixing(this spinnet piano is old and pretty beat up), he would not charge me anything. Fortunately he was able to make the repairs at a very reasonable price. The piano was also tuned, including some pitch adjustments. I highly recommend Rob. He is extremely personable, really knows his craft, and is very fair with his clients. I wish other service industry professionals were like him. We have used him before as he was referred to us by a music store, and I would not think of using anybody else.
