Victor Transmission

Like a few other reviews, they did a good job fixing my car.
The issue is, the low quote and then the phone calls with added items and price increases.
My repair wasn’t a transmission, but a transfer case which shouldn’t have had any added repairs or parts.
Overall their work seems ok. Fixed the transfer case and so far it’s been ok.
The issue with these shops is, once they break down the vehicle you are STUCK. They will want payment for what they have already done and you are going to pay another shop to finish the job which will cost you more money in the end.
I wouldn’t say don’t use the them, just get all repairs In writing and see what their policy is if you terminate a repair.

Go somewhere else. Victor uses the bait and switch tactic. He would act like nice person and tell you don’t worry I will do a free diagnostic (wich you don’t need because you know your transmission is bad) and he will tell you that he will try to use the same part that you only buy the transmission kit all bs. When you ask how much he will go around with bs. and if you leave it there he will tell you oh your transmission need a complete overhaul it will be 1800 and if you tell him you don’t agree he will tell you you owe him 600 for labor because they already took down and open the transmission. Do you self a big favor go somewhere else. This guy is a con. He won’t do transmission for less than 1400.

Really disappointed in the quality of work done to our Ford F150. We dropped the truck off to have the transmission overhauled and when we got the truck back… well, the check engine light is back on and the truck is acting like it did before we dropped it off. Also, now the front end bounces around and wobbles. If you asked me I would say, not a damn thing was done to my truck and they added another problem to have fixed. Maybe paying my $ 100 deductable wasnt enough… Go figure!!! WE would never reccommend this shop to anyone…

Brothers Ernie and Victor will do you right at Victor Transmission. Took my Ford F-​150 4×4 in for a full transmission rebuild and other 4×4 work and they did an amazing job. Great people, very talented and fairly priced. I’d give 10 stars if I could.

Victor and his brother manage the business with a high level of professionalism and respect. Work is performed as scheduled and the prices are reasonable. Invoice describes all parts and labor accordingly.
If you need transmission work, this is the place to go.

I went to Victor transmissions because it was close to my house, he test drove my car and said that I will have to leave the car so he can check it. I asked him if it will need to be rebuild and he said maybe not, he has to check the car more thoroughly, so I asked him if it needed a rebuild, and how much? He told me that a rebuild on my Ford Crown Victoria Police will be $ 950 out the door and that the price was the best around. So I decided to leave the car so they can check it. It cost $ 75 and then he will call me back with a quote to see if it will need a full rebuild, later that day he said yes it needs to be rebuild and he said it will be only $ 1040 so I told him to go ahead and rebuild it because for a rebuild that is a good price, then he said BUT when we opened the tranny it may need extra parts if a part is not rebuildable that’s when I knew the low price catch so I asked him worst case scenario how much and he said $ 1500, so I figured that I will be paying about $ 1500. After opening the transmission he called me back and guess what he said? YEP it needed more parts like I thought then he quoted me the new price of $ 1430. The transmission work was done fast and very good these guys know their work, my car drives like brand new, smooth shifts not one drop of leakage and my car feels faster! excellent work Victor Jr, Then he checks your car two weeks later to make sure everything is good and you get a one year warrantee. So the work is good but the only thing I didn’t like was the price going up you get good work, but don’t be mistaken your going to pay for it. Buy the way, my car is a 2008 with 70K miles and is an ex police vehicle, these cars are very strong and well built, keep this in mind.

WARNING, I took my car down to Victor Transmission to have my transmission checked. Victor took a look at the transmission and he gave me a estimated price of $ 800.00. I said go fix it. After he started working on the transmission, he called me on the phone telling me that the estimated price to finish the repair has changed, that it would cost to finish the work around $ 1,850.00 to $ 2,100.00 I had told him at the beginning that I did not have more than a $ 1,000.00 total for the work. Victor said he was almost finished that the total cost was ended up to $ 2,202.00 Dollars. I am a senior citizen with a low income, I was cheated and taken by Victor, finding out that he’s a shyster and a crooked dishonest scammer of the elderly, even after he said he was going to give me V.I.P. treatment since I was referred to by a friend that was a prior customer. I had to go to My different relatives to ask for money as a loan as a disconveince for the money to pay Victor Transmission. I Do Not Recommend Victor Transmission to anyone, they took advantage of me, and ripped me off and he messed up My Vehicle worse than it was, the Transmission quit working around a week later, it has not ran since then, going too complain to the Department of Auto Motive Repairs.
