2 the 9s Events is a full-service, boutique event planning company spanning the events spectrum from initmate weddings to large-scale corporate galas and everything in between. With strong relationships with some of the Bay Area’s top vendors, along with a keen eye for design and a high-level of professionalism, 2 the 9s Events became the «cure for the common event» in the fall of 2001.
History
Established in 2001.
During the Dot.com bust, Elizabeth Bainbridge, owner of 2 the 9s Events, was laid off from a corporate event position. While unemployed, a friend hired Elizabeth to coordinate her wedding. At first she was hesitant since she had never before coordinated a wedding. Getting over her anxiety, she jumped into the planning process with both feet and didn’t look back. Needless to say, the wedding was beautiful, memorable and best of all of the bride and groom, hassle-free.
From this one wedding, 2 the 9s Events was conceived. Since the fall of 2001, 2 the 9s Events has creating unique and creative events ever while exceeding the expectations of her clients.

Business Owner
With more than a decade’s experience in event planning, Elizabeth began her event career producing launch events for a corporate office interiors company, then became an account manager for a corporate concierge firm and thereafter moved on to a destination management company as an operations manager. All of these experiences contributed to her decision to branch out on her own.
