I lived in this building this past year and the people are nice it is a mix of young academy of art students and older people who have rent control. It is affordable housing in the city. The building manager Bobby is great about getting back to you quickly. I had moved out and had important mail sent there and when I called to inquire, he called back immediately even though I am not even a resident anymore which was fantastic! He also was very quick to address any issues while I live in the building. –Clayton

This was the first apartment building I lived in when I moved to San Francisco… oh the fond memories… moving into an apartment on one of the busiest streets in San Francisco, or ambulance way as I liked to call it… There was never a dull moment in the Tendernob… our apartment faced Sutter street which also meant it faced an academy of art dorm(we got lots of free sex shows) and a 24 hour«massage parlor»(which my roomie’s favorite past time was yelling dirty dick out the window to any of the patrons who would exit anytime past dark… We had a great balcony aka fire escape that we enjoyed numerous nights of wine on… No dishwasher, no garbage disposal, laundry in the basement, and an old school no memory elevator… The peeps in this building were not the friendliest folk… my roomie had some stuff stolen out of her laundry and our next door neighbor of a year and a half would always ask us what floor when we got on the elevator… but you couldn’t beat the location and it’s going to be fun to say I lived in downtown SF when I tell the stories of my youth…
