A Miner Miracle had their first Clothing Event Sale in 2003 with over 2000 Famous Maker fashions. It was wildly successful and A Miner Miracle SHOP was born.

Glad to see they’ve returned to the neighborhood just a block down from their usual outpost. Great for work appropriate basics and a random selection of dresses and accessories. It’s hit or miss yet still fun to browse through. They have primarily Ann Taylor/​LOFT samples, Joan Vass, and a smattering of other brands like Tahari, Calvin Klein and Betsey Johnson. I’ve scored some great coats as well as work tops and pants. My only gripe is that since the items are mostly samples the size range is not vast. I fall between a size 6 – 8 which they have a lot of. Really sweet sales associates and I can browse to my heart’s content without feeling pressured.

A small store with huge surprises. I took a left turn out of my dentist’s office and saw a jacket in the window I liked. I went in and found that this store has gorgeous, brand-​name clothes, for a fraction of the regular price. These aren’t clothes with defects (and they guarantee full refunds if you find a defect) – they are either leftovers or samples or something that is truly a miracle. I did basically all my fall shopping here, leaving with a bag full of 2 Ann Taylor skirts, 2 Ann Taylor dresses, and a DKNY trench, all for under $ 250. They fit beautifully. I went back next week and bought a floor-​length Ann Taylor gown for $ 50. I don’t know how they do it, but, wow.
