Adam Gavzer

Adam is the consummate professional. In this real estate climate, whether buying or selling, you need a broker that isn’t just in it for the money. Adam is about honesty and integrity. He’ll tell it to you straight, and get you what you need. We were selling, and I wanted to be certain that the person making the commission on my home was someone I liked and trusted, and Adam was all that and more. I felt like our place would sell itself, but that my ignorance, and he handled all the details and left me virtually worry free as we navigated the very complex process. I would use him again without a second’s hesitation.

Adam and his team provided excellent, candid advice to us and managed the marketing process in a highly professional, efficient manner. His team took the time to carefully assess our particular situation, and make recommendations that created a great selling experience and attracted the right qualified buyers to our property for sale. We’d use him again, and recommend him highly.
He came to us personally recommended, and we want to be sure to pass him along to others in our situation. We’re generally knowledgeable, but have only bought and sold a few homes and really weren’t familiar with the market dynamics or how the bid process would proceed. Adam’s consultative, always-​available approach put us at ease while his team did the work in the background to maximize the audience and demand for the property. We considered an off-​market sale, and thought about the pre-​listing buzz. Ultimately, a well-​staged, well-​presented home that was ready to go was our best alternative to maximize interest.
Selling a home is emotional, and even if it’s in happy circumstances, you still want to work with professionals who understand you and the needs of your family. We’re grateful to Adam and the entire team that supports their marketing.

Adam represented me as a seller, for my TIC in SoMa. It was a very complicated deal, because we were in the midst of condo conversion when I listed and the personalities in my building were … challenging. Ok, lets just say that I hated my TIC mates, the feeling was mutual, and therefore, every single stupid thing took literally dozens of emails and phone calls with them. Adam represented me and my interests, with the upmost professionalism, in all of these difficult interactions.
Thanks to his «steel in the veins» negotiating tactics, I got well over asking, which isn’t as easy in SF as the newspapers would have you believe. Buyer have money and options, especially in my neighborhood.
I sold in 27 days, and one of the reasons is that Adam knows all the best people to help you with your sale — staging, handyman work. I tried to do it myself /​research it myself and just wound up going to Adam’s recommendations, and it was for the best.
I am kind of a basket case, and the sale was very time-​consumin & stressful. I did need a lot of hand-​holding, which Adam was there for, esp. once we were in contract, which I didn’t realize, is actually when the negotiations seem to begin. I naively thought that once you accept an offer and go into escrow, you’re done. Not so. If you’re in it, you will understand. Your agent not only has to get that offer, they have to see it through. Adam did that for me, even when I was falling apart /​freaking out.
As the previous poster intimated, Adam is great, esp. if you do not need a lot of handholding /​you need someone to handle the sale if you’re too busy or don’t live here. He really can take of everything for you, and do it better than you ever could. If I could do it over again, I would have done two things 1) had my lawyer handle reviewing my disclosures too (but that’s a story for another time); and 2) just sat back even a bit more and let Adam & his staff do his thing.

I remembered seeing some of Adam’s properties that he was selling back when I was looking to buy a loft and remembered his listings all looked beautifully staged and ready to sell. I also remembered that those properties sold pretty quickly. When it came time to sell my place it was a no brainer on who to contact.
I live in Southern California and was concerned with getting my rental property in SF presentable while also timing it well with the real estate market. From the moment I called Adam, he hit the ground running getting my place move in ready and listed. He took care of EVERYTHING from start to finish ie. putting me in touch with the right people to replace the floors/​carpet, finding a reliable and extremely reasonable handyman to get the place ready, staging the place, helping me coordinate with my rental tenant… etc. He literally removed all the stress from selling my place and made the process quick and easy. I was also 8 months pregnant while selling my place so I did not want any added stress Adam priced the property well since it sold within 14 days and i was extremely happy with what we got for it.
I have worked/​or tried to work with other real estate agents in the past and they were flakey and unreliable. Adam was like striking gold in terms of finding a good real estate agent. He is reliable, efficient, resourceful, has a solid work ethic and was a wonderful person all around to work with. I would highly recommend him!
