The food is OK. The cleanliness of the workers are not. A $ 5BLT, & $ 6.49 egg with cheese seems okay until you see the size of the sandwhich. The bagels are significantly smaller than usual. The«chefs» should wear gloves when making sandwhiches, especially after picking up your pants and tying your hair in a bun.(I dont know what chu got gurrrlll) Overall, it’s okay. I’d still eat here. Just use gloves next time mam

Friendly staff is all this place really has going for it. I lived next door so was hoping for a convenient place to regularly grab breakfast and coffee but only ended up going once or twice the couple years I lived there. The coffee was bad(couldn’t finish it) and their breakfast sandwiches leave a lot to be desired. I’ve ordered bagel breakfast sandwich and croissant breakfast sandwiches both which are were very small and very meh.

Came here for a quick lunch. Ordered the roast beef sandwich, lemonade, and bottled water. The place was pretty empty for a Saturday noon. It still look the kitchen 15 minutes to make one sandwich. Friendly staff but slow service and sandwich was meh.

In short Id have to say pass on this place. I came here to study since I saw that they have free wifi and I don’t think I’ll be going back. I ordered a lox bagel and an iced chai latte. The sandwich wasn’t great and the latte was just milk mixed with instant chai powder. The food and drink were gross enough for me not to finish them on an empty stomach, but still pretty expensive considering the quality. Also after about 5 people came in and got on their laptops my computer completely disconnected from the wifi and I couldn’t get back on. The whole point of me going there was to study so at that point I just thew my food out and left. On top of it all the seats and tables seemed like they hadn’t been cleaned in a while and there were flys everywhere. Can’t say with confidence I’ll be going back unless they make some major changes.

Not a bad little place, not loads to say about it really apart from the fact that I needed somewhere to grab a quick breakfast and this place was closest with me staying on Alamo square. The staff were friendly and polite and I thankfully just beat the queues as after me about 20 peeps hit and for a little café, it was swamped. For $ 10 I had a lox bagel which was cool and a very tasty double macchiato — sorted me out quickly but if I had more time and wanted to spend more cash, I’d have hit somewhere a little bit more substantial for brunch on a Sunday.

Not bad. The food is relatively cheap(for California city living). Has a very cool street feel to it. A good place to read a book.

Pleasant turn around at this place. Haven’t been there in a month, but today there was an extended menu, some lower pricing than in past, and it seemed a little cleaner. Most importantly the woman working at the counter acted interested in being at work, was nice to talk with, and made my bagel sandwich and coffee tasty and fast! Hadn’t been here in a while as the usual /past staff had a beyond-bored attitude and took forever to make anything between phone surfing and talking with friends. I’ll be back!

Great little coffee shop near the house. Have bagels, salads, and sandwiches. Nice place to quietly get some work done. Would love to see the cushions replaced – YUCK! The service is GREAT – the girl in the early mornings is so super friendly.

I really wanted to like this place since it’s the café nearest to me, and perfectly pleasant inside, but some seriously weak tasting falafel, with no sauce, spice or taste that didn’t hold together in a poorly put together wrap that sent me running to the bathroom half an hour later makes it so I cannot recommend this place much less go back there again myself. I would like to think this was some strange aberration in their daily fair, but I’m not willing to take another chance. Really disappointed. Really was hoping this is going to be a go to destination, but it’s now under the remember to avoid section.

Good little spot. Grungy seats. Inexpensive coffee. Expensive smoothies. They ought to change the menu to reflect the price of the smoothies.

I’m in this area once a month, and the breakfast items are really yummy. I usually make my own order: egg sandwich with smoked salmon and avocado. Soooo good! They’ve got fresh juice which is ALWAYS a plus in my books! I’ll be back next month!

Today, the owner and his thug buddy threatened to physically toss me out on the street a few minutes after closing. I liked the place up until then. There was not any complaint or problem. I even asked him a few minutes before 5 what time the café closed, and was in the process of packing up. A totally rude jerk, I can’t believe how angry he got. I will never return to this place again. I will be telling my friends to stay away. Jerk!

Great! The espresso, smoothie with mixed fruit and the veggie sandwich was a perfect combination. This seems like a great place to spend a Saturday before lunch. Relaxed and nice.

The design is really hip, but I wasn’t blown away by their coffee. I only got their standard coffee though so take my review with a grain of salt. Great wifi though!
