Albert’s of Standard Driving School

Albert is a great teacher. I have been biking most of my adult life and never drove a car. I told Albert my situation and he chalked out a great plan for getting me into the swing of things, Just after one session with him, I felt very confident. I thoroughly enjoyed learning the nuances of driving such as angling your steering wheel appropriately at turns, good techniques for curbside parking. He is kind, patient, and a very nice person to have by your side when you drive. I’m glad I had an hour of practice with him just before my driving test, and things went really smooth. Thanks to Albert, I rented a car the very next day and drove merrily all around the bay area with my wife. And we got to see killer whales in the pacific! I’m looking forward to my wife learn driving from Albert.

Patient, careful and informative. Albert is an awesome instructor! I am already fully licensed in Canada but need to do the behind-​the-​wheel test for my California license since the DMV does not acknowledge international licenses. I spent 2 hours with Albert and was able to learn many valuable tips and things to watch out for. Went to do the test 2 days later and — WOOHOO I passed! I would highly recommend Albert as your driving instructor for whatever your driving needs may be!

I knew nothing about DRIVING, and I just had a poor sense of direction, but on the first day of my lesson, I learned how to make left and right turn immediately and, I was able to drive back to home after. I was a slow learner, and I had a very difficulty to have my own time to take each lesson because I am a busy mom, so it took a while for me to get a driving licence. Even if I had many obstacles, I was able to pass a drivers test because Albert was a just excellent instructor. He has a very good driving skills, and he has his own way to teach all driving techniques, so you will learn essentially everything and also all tips about drivers test so eventually you will become a excellent driver. I might say there are many driving instructors who have a great skills of driving, but Albert has a great attitude as teacher, and very professional. Plus he is very patience and friendly. I did love the way he treats me that he was very calm and always tried to understand. On my last day which was after I just passed my drivers test, he still wanted me to drive on the way back home and tried to teach more realistic driving skills, and he didn’t waste any sec of my time. Of course, all prices he requested were very reasonable, and I sincerely appreciated. Again, thank you so much Albert!

Albert was very friendly and patient. I never really wanted to drive because I was super afraid of getting into accidents. But an incident had me applying for my license. He taught me to relax and gave me great pointers on driving that I can utilize even after I passed my test. After a few lessons with Albert, I passed on the first try. Also his prices are really affordable, that’s why I chose him in the beginning. You won’t be disappointed!

We found Albert’s Driving school online and immediately booked an appointment for my 15 year old daughter because of his affordable rates. He was easy to get a hold of an had very flexible hours, plus he came to us all the way in Redwood city! He showed up on time and was extremely enthusiastic and polite. My daughter said he was a great instructor and fun to chat with during the lesson. There was a complication with social services about my daughter driving herself to her doctors appointments, and Albert spoke with the social worker and verified that she was a responsible driver and spoke very highly of her. That was extremely helpful in getting the whole situation cleared up. Overall, Albert is a great instructor and has very reasonable rates. I would highly recommend him!

As a Mom of a 15 ½ year old, I am fully recommending Al and his service. Al was referred to me by one of my friends. From our first conversation, Al was extremely professional and very willing to take the time to make sure all of my questions were answered. Prior to contacting Al, I had spoken with three other driving instructors and had actually already solidified the first session for my son with another instructor. But after speaking with Al, my intuition told me to select him as my son’s behind the wheel instructor and I am very pleased with that decision. My son felt comfortable with Al and learned quite a bit in each of the three two hour sessions. Al was consistently on-​time and after each session debriefed with my son and I on progress achieved and what to work on next. To top it all off, Al’s prices are quite reasonable which I sincerely appreciated. I highly recommend Al.

First found out about this instructor through a Craigslist ad. Was very surprised at how great of an instructor he was. Only took three 2 hour lessons before I went to take and pass the driving test in one attempt. Does not waste your time, no lessons are repetitive; always something new learned after each lesson. Overall, great instructor who I would recommend to anyone looking to get their license quickly and easily.

Albert does not waste your time and teaches you everything you need to know in order to be an excellent driver. Without a doubt, he is one of the best driving instructors out there. Here’s some background about my experience going to driving schools:
Before hearing about Albert, I was taught by a family friend (it was huge mistake), an instructor from a driving school nearby my place and another instructor from another driving school. Over a period of six months, I failed my behind-​the-​wheel test twice at Redwood City. It’s somewhat embarrassing because the test route for Redwood City isn’t as complicated. I got 1 critical error for the first one and another one in the second one. After going through three instructors, I still failed my driving test for the same exact reason!
I was determined to pass on my last try. At the time, I was suppose to have a car ready for my DMV, especially since I paid $ 250 dollars to my instructor. Because of scheduling conflicts, I thought I needed to postpone my last chance. I was infuriated.
But I looked up on Craigslist and found out about Albert! BEST THING THAT EVER HAPPENED IN MY DRIVING PREP EXPERIENCE! The rates were reasonable and reaching out to him wasn’t hard. During the lessons, he wasted no time explaining important tips and was very patient overall. He was calm and made sure I was calm as well. After spending two lessons, I passed my third try with NO ERRORS. Please keep in mind I’ve had almost 2 years of driving experience. But Albert was able to point out some things that NONE OF MY PREVIOUS INSTRUCTORS told me about.
