She always responded our emails and questions quickly, and I didn’t have to worry about a thing!!! Just trust her with it. We decided to have Amelia play at our wedding ceremony last month and she was outstanding. The music was perfect for our coastal setting; she was able to easily adjust the repertoire to last minute changes and added an extra touch of grace, elegance and beauty to our special moment. All our guests were delighted with her performance! She is not only incredibly talented, but also very professional and personable.

I was desperate, I had 12 hours to arrange for a suitable music program for my son’s memorial service the following day. I received Amelia’s contact information from a highly-​respected musician acquaintance of mine. My son had been killed in a car accident a few days earlier, and I had emerged from my «coma» just in time to register how profoundly important it was that the ceremony, only hours away, do justice to my precious son’s memory.
It was in this state that I called Amelia the night before the event, and left a near-​frantic voice message for her. She returned my call promptly, and we quickly reached an agreement. She traveled for two hours on this hot, day in late August, and arrived early, actually beating me there. She set up and, without any instruction beyond what she could derive from our 15-​minute phone conversation the night before, proceeded to play for several hours, relying solely on her intuitive sense of the mood of those in attendance for her selections. I arrived to what sounded like a chorus of faintly-​humming angels, drifting lazily through the sun-​splashed hillside vineyards where the ceremony was to commence in the coming minutes.
It was as though Amelia had sculpted a warm place in her cupped, gentle hands for this solemn occasion, a safe place that invited those present to feel and express the many emotions conjured by the shocking conclusion to the blessing of my son’s abbreviated life. Throughout this stirring afternoon, Amelia’s exquisite harp warmly mingled through the grape vines and approaching autumn shadows, caressing and consoling the hundreds who desperately needed the soothing and gentle sounds offered by the choir of angels Amelia’s harp summoned. To this disconsolate father, it was as though Ben was with us, calmly whispering through Amelia’s harp, «It’s okay Dad. I’m in Heaven…»
I’m now typing this through tears. «Thank you» seems so pathetically unequal to the task that brought me here today. How does one adequately «recommend» a perfect stranger who performs with emotion and inspiration worthy of her own child? I will never forget the difference this «stranger» made in my life, by so generously giving of herself to help make my son’s memorial unforgettable. Among the choruses and choirs I imagined that day, I can identify by name only one angel — Amelia.

We had requested a more modern song list to which Amelia kindly spent additional time to learn prior to the performance and the results were amazing! Amelia was beyond amazing! She was the first to respond out of all the musicians I reached out to. Super responsive on e-​mail and patient with all my annoying corporate requests.
She was constantly in touch with updates (when she was arriving, where she is).
She was the highlight of the event, especially with the cool blue harp. All the guests couldn’t stop talking about how wonderful and unique the performance was. A nice additional surprise was that Amelia also includes vocals with some of her selections. Truly exceptional performance!

Amelia from the beginning was so easy and pleasant to work with. My wedding was in SF the beginning of September 2014 and I was searching for a harpist while I am living in the East Coast. She is very prompt answering emails and was great making suggestions picking the songs for me. She was on top asking me questions throughout the year leading to my wedding. I got so many compliments with her music from my guests during the ceremony and hor dourves. She played so beautifully when I walked down the aisle. I highly recommend Amelia!
