I can’t say enough for Dr. Striebeck, Chris the massage therapist and his very efficient and friendly front desk staff. Dr. Striebeck has helped me through my various pain issues as well as given advice on doing things with the proper movement. Chris is amazing and completely manipulates the muscles to the point where you can feel the aches and pains release. I’m just glad to see that the majority of Dr. Striebeck’s patients are as pleased as I am with his practice and his services.

I have been to a few chiropractors and this is one that did not help whatsoever. I have mid and low back pain that I get worked on every so often and decided to try a new place near my house. The receptionists are hard to understand and often do not seem like they know what they’re doing. The doctor is very quick and doesn’t take the time to really find out what is wrong with you. There is something weird about this place, and you don’t get a trusting feeling from the doctor, which I think you should have when you are having someone work on you and manipulate your body. Also, the masseuse is terrible! I highly do not recommend!

This man is amazing, I have been going to him for several years and every time I have a flare up of back pain he brings me back pain free.

I’ve been to many chiropractors and Dr. Striebeck is the best. He really spends the time to find the underlaying cause for any pain, and tailors each visit to what is needed on that particular day. I’m in graduate school and have back and neck issues from sitting at a desk, typing on a computer all day. The only time my neck and back feel great is after seeing Dr. Striebeck. My boyfriend was recently in a motorcycle accident, hurt his shoulder and has a grade 2 AC tear. After seeing Dr. Striebeck he was able to sleep comfortably for the first time in weeks. He was originally recommended to me by my acupuncturist who also said many of her patients highly recommended him.

I drove out to this place 3x a week for months (from the Mission) after a car accident and never regretted it. This guy really knows his stuff– he was able to look at me and correctly guess where I was feeling pain and what kind (which varied lots week to week) which I found quite impressive and made me feel like I was in good hands. I was in 2 major car accidents in a 30 day period and have fibromyalgia, and without this place I’d still be lying on the floor in moaning in pain probably. Also they’re wizards at dealing with insurance and the cold laser is pretty miraculous for contusions and strains.

Exceptional service, professional care and knowledgeable provider. They took care of my back in just a few weeks.

Beyond my expectations! I had never been to a chiropractor before, but I am an athlete and have chronic knee and back issues from multiple injuries over the years. While walking down the street outside the center I saw a sandwich board which advertised specialized care for athletes. I thought I’d give it a try and was happily shocked by Mr. Streibeck’s professionalism and ability to quickly address the issues for my particular needs.
Mr. Streibeck was able to manipulate my knee and back so that the pain was relieved. He also educated me about the problems themselves and things I could do at home to help myself. I felt tremendously better afterward. So much so that I was able to use that lack of pain to continue developing my supporting muscles. The intensity of pain that I felt before entering his office HAS NOT returned even months after treatment.
This is an amazing center. I recommend it for anyone who’s serious about health and well-​being, but especially for athletes who may have joint issues.

Mr. Streibeck is absolutely amazing. His extensive knowledge and excellent treatment are supplemented by his recommended exercises, homeopathic remedies, laser treatment and much more. He is tops in my book especially since he has prevented bone loss from a misalignment which developed before I saw him regularly.

For those looking for a chiropractor that is extremely precise and knowledgeable about the body then Dr Steinbeck is the right choice. I have found that he has a unique gift for aligning the body and have gotten incredible results. He is a wild card.

After tearing my plantar fascia while sprinting barefoot on the beach, I was sidelined and in crazy, constant pain. Many months (7 to be exact) of conventional therapy (boot, inserts, cortisone, PT) and I was in no better shape or in any less pain! Frustrated and depressed, I called Dr. Striebeck for a visit. A few years earlier he had helped me get walking again after a bad car accident, and I always thought of Chiropractors as my head, neck and back go to.duh.Dr. Striebect should come to mind if you are experiencing plantar fasciitis.
He started seeing me twice a week and recommended laser therapy, and my healing began. After only 1 month I am able to walk without pain, and my life and body begin to move again… halalujah!

After reading some reviews I made an appointment at this office to have some work done on my neck. I rushed from the other side of town to make it in for my first appointment. I made it, feeling awful and all. First visit, he was 30 minutes late getting to me because the last patient was 30 minutes late. Only problem, I’m the last person for the day and the first visit is 45 minutes to an hour (as shared by them). You can do the math. If you like for your chiropractor to be 30 minutes late and want to rush you through in half the time, then this is your guy. There is one star, his assistant was nice. I will not be coming back.

Dr Striebeck is the most knowledgable and attentive chiropractors I’ve been to.
He is phenomenal at treating acute injuries and pain but has a more thorough approach for continuous, long term spinal health. He recommends stretches, exercises and pillows that compliments the adjustments he does. And it truly work.
The staff are also fantastic and friendly.

I have to update my review. When I first started going to American Chiropractic, I was going for massage and acupuncture. But recently, I needed a chiropractic intervention.
I somehow really disrupted my neck’s place of Zen… I asked to see Doctor Striebeck and I am very glad I did. The experience, insight, equipment, and presence he brought to our session was really top notch. Doctor Striebeck could clearly and simply articulate what he was feeling and seeing in my neck and back. He explained in simple terms what was needed to relieve my neck /​arm pain. He made home care suggestions too. The pricing for services is reasonable. The massage /​traction table that I am asked to lay on at the start of the visit is amazing (sigh)…its a little mini massage which makes the adjustment a positive appointment to attend. That said, I am feeling tons better… even feeling relief from other long standing aches that have flaired up from time to time. We are almost done with the treatments (I have had 3) and I am super glad I am taking care of myself in this way. I would highly recommend seeing Doctor Striebeck is you are looking for a chiropractor. You will be well cared for in a beautiful environment and you won’t be charged huge fees. They also take insurance.

If I could post negative stars I would… I called and booked an appointment ahead of time for today for acupuncture as I have been have intense chronic knee pain and inflammation. The receptionist assured me they were open this Saturday and that it would be no issue even though I initially agreed to come in during the week. I rearranged my whole schedule today to travel all the way to the office to find out they were not even open… inexcusable!!!

I’ve tried five chiropractors in San Francisco, and Dr Striebeck is the best Chiropractor I’ve found in San Francisco so far. Within just a few sessions, pain that I’ve had for years disappeared completely or got much better.
Dr Striebeck is calm, attentive and very knowledgeable about way more than just joint adjustments. He knows about holistic health, laser therapies, TMJ treatment, Massage Therapy, Accupuncture, Therapy after a car accident, all kinds of stuff that he barely even advertises.
The entire team is great. The front desk girls are all smart, friendly and helpful, the massage therapists are competent, and there is a good vibe in the office.
The signage and the rugs look a little run down, and they clearly know nothing about marketing (since they barely advertise all the things they offer), but as far as treatment for pain goes, they are the best I’ve seen.

I came here last week for 90 minutes deep tissue with Chris, he was amazing worked on all my knots and very knowledgable, I left feeling relax and healed!
Maggie the receptionist is such a sweet heart too, I can’t believe this place is only half block away from my home!
Today I came back for 2 hour deep tissue with Catherine!!! She is also super amazing, friendly and very knowledgable too.
This will be my to go place for full body massage, real business real people and I will try the acupuncture too soon.
Will be back for sure!!!

Happened to walk in one day while exploring the Sunset district and booked an appt for my jacked up spine. I’m glad I found American Chiropractic Center since I’ve been having so much pain in my spine because of the kind of work I am engaged in.
The staff here are very friendly, outgoing, humorous and cute. Dr. Striebeck helped me with the re-​alignment of my spine and alleviate some of the neck pain I’ve been experiencing lately. I’m glad I didn’t have to take any pain medication for temporary pain.
I’m glad I am able to sleep peacefully now without having to wake up with a kink in my neck, which would bug me for the rest of the day.
Will definitely be coming back here again if and when I get more spinal problems.

I just moved to SF from LA and was in desperate need for some chiropractic work. I had a pretty bad back injury back in November and it still bothers me a lot, especially when I been traveling/​driving a lot (which I have done a LOT of over the summer). Dr. Striebeck was highly highly recommended by the family I am staying with in San Francisco, they’ve been seeing him a while apparently.
I have only been going a few visits so far but he is definitely working wonders. My back and neck are feeling incredibly better compared to my first visit. I highly suggest him if you are in the market for a good chiropractor! Especially if you’re looking for someone you can see regularly, which is kinda essential for any kind of doctor. Something is just so nice about seeing a familiar face when your body is hurting you.

Dr. Striebeck is great! He is quick and efficient. You literally see him running from room to room. I have dealt with constant lower back pain from years of weightlifting/​football and Dr. Striebeck has helped to relieve the pain and educate me on how to stay in alignment.
My favorite treatment has been the Laser Therapy!
I injured my shoulder playing football in high school 7 years ago and thought that it was too late for a major surgery and I would just have to deal with the daily pain and excruciating level when doing my favorite sport of rock climbing. I have completed 4 sessions now of 10 minutes each and the results are amazing. After every treatment there has been no recovery time or pain which is great. I have been stretching and rehabbing the muscles on my own and the range of motion and muscle growth I have experienced is really quite profound. Its awesome that a little box of light can do so much when pin pointed on a central area.

He is good. I’ve been to a few different chiropractors and he is the only one that addresses ALL of my issues. I have had lower back pain for a few years and I’m confident in him helping to improve it.
