At the practice of Dr. Amy Baird Schlegel you will be given individualized attention to promote psycho/emotional wellness, increase energy and relieve pain. Symptoms from daily stress, fatigue, anxiety, depression, PMS or menopause will be addressed based on your individual constitution. If you are suffering from digestive discomfort such as gas, bloating, constipation, IBS, or have been diagnosed with high cholesterol, you will be given tailored diets, herbal medicine and supportive acupuncture therapy. Amy will help to improve your quality of life if you are an athlete striving to enhance performance or experience chronic back pain, arthritis or sciatica.

Established in 2002.
Dr. Amy Baird Schlegel practices acupuncture, herbalism, shiatsu and nutrition a in the Hayes Valley area of San Francisco at Advance Allergy Solutions, has been a professor of acupuncture and clinic supervisor for San Francisco’s prestigious graduate school of Traditional Chinese Medicine, ACTCM. Amy began her study of herbalism in 1993 and the study of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1997. After receiving a Masters of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in Santa Barbara, Amy completed her Doctoral work at Five Branches University. Amy is continuing PhD research studies through Zhejiang University in Hangzhou China and accepting volunteers for a three month treatment based case study of postpartum depression.
