Great place to get your car serviced, called around for estimates, Andre was fairly priced, dropped off my BMW 525 for a clutch replacement quick turn around in addition he provided me with helpful maintenance recommendations.

I had a good experience getting my routine maintenance on a 2006 C230 done at Andre’s. Andre as well as his staff were courteous and friendly. They accommodated my somewhat crunched schedule without complaining or trying to assess a rush fee. The work appeared good (only my first day driving now). I felt the prices were fair for the Bay Area — certainly below dealer pricing, and similar to what I had paid in Los Angeles from a trusted independent mechanic. Overall, a good experience — friendly, prompt, and reasonable.

Andre and his team went ABOVE AND BEYOND in helping me get my car repaired. I got into a fender bender and Andre made time to evaluate my car literally within the same hour that the accident took place. Dropping off and picking up my car was as easy as can be, I didn’t even make an appointment to do so (sorry, Andre!). As many others have mentioned, he is honest when it comes to the cost that it will take to make to repair your vehicle and will not try to rip you off. Lived in the city for five years and I finally have an HONEST mechanic to take my car to!

Great service at reasonable prices. Convenient to my home. Andre asked me to come back so he could check on some work he did he said it would take about 15 minutes and it did! As a woman, I often feel ripped off at mechanics, not so at Andre’s.

This guy is not honest. Went for an oil change and after it was completed the owner came out to ask me if my car had been in an accident. He then proceeded to demonstrate to me that my hood wouldn’t close. And then fabricated a big story that shifted blame to another garage. I caught him lying as the kid who did the oil change admitted to jacking the car up from the front (portable floor jack). This bent the radiator framing and caused the hood clasp to misalign and not close. They tried everything but telling me the truth and taking responsibility for their error.
Terrible!

5 stars truly. Andre is the best, both times I’ve been here has been a great experience. This place is no frills, with great service. This is an excellent place to take your BMW for regular maintenance and aftermarket upgrades.
The second time I came here I urgently needed to get a set of wheels and tires mounted as one of my current tires started to fall apart. Andre was able to quickly get me back on the road.
I have some maintenance and few aftermarket things I want done in the near future, and as long as I am in SF I will go to Andre to take care of my BMW!

Great place. I had recently gotten my car and I had not yet found a mechanic in the area when much to my dismay it started to overheat. After looking around I decided to give Andre’s a try. I called up and even though I was not an existing customer he squeezed my car in that day and got it taken care of. The price for the water pump replacement was fair and he did not try to upsell me on extra services. He offers good solid service and I feel I can trust him with my car.

The best guy in town if you drive a german car. Took my 2006 BMW X3 for an engine oil leak and got it fixed at the most reasonable rate anywhere around… this guy knows and gives you an honest straight faced estimate. Everywhere else just seemed cookie cutter checkup. Will come back to home time and again for any maintenance. Big thanks!

Andre and team are the kinda mechanics you hear about in fairly tales. They are prompt, always keep us posted with progress updates and their prices are very reasonable.

Got a Porsche? Go here! — I have been using this service shop for more than a year and must say I have NOT been yet disappointed. If it German they are the only place to take your car. Very knowledgeable, courteous, professional, on time, very reasonable and fair hourly rate. I’m learning the hard way that owning and maintaining a high-​mileage Porsche can get very expensive, but it’s definitely been made easier with the help from the staff at ANDRE’S ARENA. Again emphasizing, They are substantially less expensive than PORSCHE DEALERS /​SERVICE CENTERS and the quality of their work is top notch.
You can’t go wrong there, solid 5 stars. — Service «A+», Prices «A+», Staff «A+» Looking to do more with them in the future!

Excellent, friendly service. Timely and reasonable. Andre is trustworthy and just great to do business with. He fixed the roof on my convertible, identified and eliminated a noise problem, and got the phone plugin working. All great. And he’s really nice!

After reading several reviews of Volkswagen-​servicing repair shops on the western side of San Francisco, I made an appointment with Andre’s, and I’m glad I did.
When I dropped my car off, the staff and Andre were friendly and eager to help. The next day, their phone call offered an easy-​to-​understand breakdown of the service and costs. When I picked up the car, everything was as advertised — with a line for additional parts to repair a previously unknown broken part. A quick chat with Andre revealed that he included the part and labor free of charge.
The combination of great service and eagerness to go above and beyond for the customer has made a positive impression. As I left, I told Andre «I’ll be back,» and I will honor that promise.

Have been taking cars to Andre for over 20 years now. I’ll keep this short — he’s the best.

Props to these guys– called them and asked them for prices and the guy was patient with me and gave me detailed run through of potential costs of labor and brake and rotor parts for my car. Didn’t end up using them because I decided to get towed instead (since I have AAA) and get it fixed at my local mechanic, but I would have since they were friendly and considerate.

Wow, talk about friendly and kind. About six months ago, my boyfriend dropped my car there to check a slow puncture. Andre’s checked all four tires and found two with nails and fixed them in about an hour for $ 25. Then, a couple of weeks ago, I dropped my boyfriend’s car round to check a rather faster slow puncture. The BF picked it up the same day — NO charge! I’m definitely coming here to get my car fixed from now on!

I needed to replace the front hood latch and hood release cable on my Toyota and had been shopping around a few places for the best price. The first couple of places quoted me from $ 300-​$ 450 for parts and labor. After finally calling Andre’s after a glowing recommendation from a friend, they were able to quote me at just half of the original costs I had been quoted. On top of that, it took less than an hour to do the job.
Both Andre and Edwin were extremely friendly and helpful. Edwin even walked down to the nearby coffee shop I was waiting at to let me know my car was ready. I can’t recommend this place enough and will definitely come back for any future car needs.

Andre is an extremely reliable guy. I can’t recommend him enough. He is very trustworthy and professional, and he delivered on everything he promised. My car wasn’t starting and he looked at it very promptly. He had it up and started and fixed within a few hours. I am continually impressed by this shop. Be sure to check this place out =)

Andre and his team are your place to go if you drive a BMW in this area! I bought a 1989 525i E34 off of Craigslist and he didn’t try to bs me about what did and didn’t need to be fixed to get it road worthy. I asked him to put on new pads and resurface the rotors for me – I ended up needing new rotors entirely. I believed him that they couldn’t be resurfaced over the phone call we had, but he still insisted on making me touch the rotors with my own hands and feel how worn through they had gotten. It was crazy, I actually felt the wear of what presumably 25 years worth of SF braking does to a set.
I’ve never met a fairer and more honest mechanic. He’s the kind of mechanic that makes you want to keep your car in its prime, or if you’re like me make prime so much more achievable (the dings are bad but the engine is strong!) If you live in the area, you are a fool to bring your car anywhere else.

Andre has always been square and straight up with me. I have used his shop for several of my cars; 1985 Porsche 911, 1970 Mercedes 280S and recently my bad ass Mercedes 500E.
Either for performance work or general repairs this shop has always taken care of me. It is a good idea to call and arrange a time and date as the shop gets very busy. I usually drop off before 0730−8am.
Andre is a good guy. I have no issues when he has my car.
