Andrew is an incredible contractor. He’s dependable, honest, helpful, and easy to work with. He gets your project done on time and on budget. His work is high quality. He uses experienced professionals to do specialized work and they are as expert as he is. Andrew knows his business. When he gives advice about design options he considers your taste and objectives. He did a partial remodeling of my kitchen and it looks amazing. i would hire him again for any project, big or small.

We hired Andrew Moore consulting for a total remodel of our two bedroom home in San Francisco. Our plan was to rent a apartment for 6 months while the work was being done. Having never remodeled a home we were nervous about the process, how much of our time it would take, unexpected costs (as we had a set budget), and delays in completing the project (as we were paying our mortgage and rent for our temporary housing).
Our home is a 1904 Victorian home that has never been remodeled. There was no built in kitchen, almost no storage, and a old split bathroom. Andrew came up with great ideas to expand existing closet space, and create new closets without sacrificing living space. He had great ideas to open up walls, relocate rooms, all while maintaining the original victorian character of the home.
Once we sorted out the plans he gave us a very detailed proposal, and said it would take a maximum of 6 months. Andrew handled all the permits and inspections. He directed us to all the necessary resources from plumbing fixtures, kitchen cabinets, appliances tiles, and gave us a list of what we had to order, and by when. Andrew has obviously done this many times, he sent us to the best kitchen designers, fixture suppliers, they were all great to work with, and very reasonable. He told us where we shouldn’t skimp on quality as well as where we could save some money. His sub contractors were amazing, from the meticulous tile work, to the beautiful Oak floors with Rosewood inlays. He replaced all the windows, electrical, and added recessed lighting. they maintained all the coved ceilings, and re-​purposed all of the original crown molding from other parts of the home.
Being a designer myself, the details are very important to me. We made some changes along the way, and added a few things to the project scope. Andrew was always accommodating, and never charged us for the little changes. Since completing the project he has come by several times to fix minor things, and never charged us.
Andew runs a tight ship, his workers are great, at the end of every day they would totally clean the job site. They were very courteous to the neighbors, so much so, my neighbor hired him to work on their house. Almost 6 months from the date he started, we moved back into our beautiful home. Andrew completed the job on time and within his original budget. I cannot recommend Andrew enough. I have recommended Andrew to friends and family for small handyman projects, as well as larger remodels.
Andrew has a great attention to detail, a true craftsmen, and a great guy. I cannot recommend him enough.

Andrew added a master bedroom and master bath on the second floor of our house, repaired two water damaged bathrooms, removed mold, finished a downstairs office and more. I would hire Andrew again in a second! He is an amazing communicator, very reasonable and finished the project exactly in the time he said it would take. His crew are nice guys. He manages his subcontractors well and he was responsive to handling small issues after the project was all said and done. How often do you remodel your house and finish it truly liking your contractor? All testament to Andrew’s work ethic.

Honesty, integrity and great results at a fair price. Andrew is a master carpenter and communicator which is the ideal person to have/​trust when renovating your home. I’ve used him and his crew for some really big jobs; renovating my 3,000 sqft house which included 4 bdrms, 2.5 baths, chef’s kitchen, all new windows, electrical, heating and plumbing and period detail and smaller jobs when I have been in a pinch. If you want attention to detail, good communication and great results, Andrew is the guy to call.
