Annie’s catered my husband’s 50th birthday party at Swank. What a fun and inexpensive way to cater an event. I opted to serve hot dogs and tofurky dogs, but we brought our own salads and chips. But Annie’s also offered to bring side salads, pretzels and churros if we wanted. They provided full service, including, setting up the really cute hot dog cart timely, all the condiments, including, special condiments that only they serve, great service from ordering to serving the dogs and clean up. The dogs were fantastic and the guests could not stop talking about the friendly server! Super easy, fun, convenient and affordable!!! Thank you for making our event so special!!!

As a long time San Francisco resident, I must say that I can’t even go downtown anymore without stopping by one of these carts and picking up a New Yorker(the long skinny hot-dog with the casing) dog loaded with sauerkraut and spicy mustard… For under $ 5 you can’t find a better, quicker lunch. Perfect while your girlfriend is shopping at Macy’s or for someone on the go.

When I’m in the City I make it a point to get myself a Dog from Annie Hot Dogs & Pretzels. I’m an onion and ketchup/mustard guy. Absolutely the best dog in the City.

I was buying a new facial scrub at Nordstrom’s on Market Street, when I happened to pass by the Powell cable car turnaround — something caught my eye. I’ll be damned if the most ruggedly handsome street vendor wasn’t twirling a set of tongs behind the Annie’s Hot Dog cart. This, I could not pass up… we made eye contact, and I approached. I started throwin’ bass, he started throwin’ back mid-range — but when I sprung the question, he acted kind of strange… «How long are your wieners?» «Long enough» he said with a smile… And let me tell you, it was long enough and THENSOME! A long, crisp wiener nestled in a steaming bun, mmm-mmm-MMM! The second the wiener touched my lips, I knew this wasn’t any ordinary treat… So if you’re ever in downtown SF and you want a hot dog with girth and zest, you know who to call!
