For the past two years our family has been working with Gioi Tran from Applegate Tran Interiors on a major home remodel. We have never worked with such an accomplished and brilliant designer. We originally consulted Gioi for our interior designing but were pleasantly surprised and thoroughly impressed with his breadth of knowledge about architecture and construction as well. He provided innovative ideas regarding the remodel construction that ultimately provided the palette for his design plan. He listened to us and fully understood our style and artistic sensibilities. He seamlessly blended a modern flair with a contemporary foundation. Gioi was so easy to work with and his dedication to his clients is unparalleled. Gioi Tran of Applegate Tran is an incredibly talented and amazing designer. He is extremely professional, organized and punctual and the vendors he hand selects are equally great. Gioi’s impeccable taste combined with your personal style can be infused perfectly. I chaired a large scale Home Tour fundraiser and Gioi designed one of the homes. He delivered the home on time and with a very unique high end modern perspective. I would highly recommend Gioi for all types of projects including styling and decorating to a full blown remodel. He and his team are more than competent and capable to handle a project of any size. Lastly, Gioi is a character that you will def want to keep around at dinner parties and the like, far after the project is complete. I absolutely adore him and his work!

Gioi and Vernon are actually fun to work with. Our kitchen has been featured in magazines. We love the functional and beauty of our kitchen.

I have always understood the reasons why you are a nationally known design firm, but damn (!) your recent event and presentation at the magnificent Berkeley Mills showroom was jaw dropping. The «before and after» kitchen remodels were incredible to see. I am also thrilled that you are still the same, down to earth souls you have always been, you wear your success so well. My sincere congratulations.
Also, what other design firm could cook up a stellar brunch of house-​made shrimp shu-​mai, pork pot-​stickers, crispy stuffed Vietnamese Crepes, Crab Quiche with Jicama Slaw and more and then turn around moments later and give a world class design presentation?
