Lisa and her team made our dream wedding at Beaulieu Garden a reality. We would highly recommend Atelier Joya, without hesitation. A talented, professional and creative crew with beautiful taste. Their work speaks for itself — absolutely stunning.

Love love love Atelier Joya! Lisa and Priska are AMAZING! They are both so easy to work with and ridiculously talented. Their floral design really transformed the space and was exactly what I had envisioned as I scrolled and flipped through thousands of wedding photos online and in magazines. Clean, modern, and sophisticated. As a busy bride, I was looking for a floral design studio that didn’t require a lot of hand holding. I forwarded Atelier Joya some of my inspiration photos and a few adjectives to describe my «vision» and they turned it into a reality. Our Napa wedding at The Carneros Inn was a dream, and it was in large part due to our floral and design team. We did a mock up of the tables and centerpieces, but I didn’t see the fruits of their labor until my husband and I walked into the ballroom during introductions. It was breathtaking! Highly highly recommend using this team!

Lisa & Priska at Atelier are simply amazing. They took the vision I had for my wedding and made it something I could never have imagined but still reflected our personality. Everything from the table décor to flowers to fabric selections was just beautiful — simple, modern yet rich with detail. They took a raw space and turned into a beautiful ceremony room, and then made it look like a totally different space for dessert & dancing. Their table scape design and surprise details at dinner were unbelievable as well.
And if their sheer skills and taste are not enough, their customer service is impeccable — they work hard to make sure you’re satisfied, don’t have any qualms about collaborating or adjusting to your preferences & are on top of every last detail. I wish I could get married all over again just to see what they’d come up with next!!!
Long story short, highly recommend and if you have the means to engage their full suite of services I’d definitely do it.

Priska and Lisa are two of the most talented even designers I know. Every event I have seen them do is AMAZING. Priska knows how to read your mind, when you explain things to her she gets it right away. My wedding was perfect because of her and I wouldn’t have wanted anything different.

Lisa and Priska did the design and flowers for our wedding at St. Paul’s and reception at Barndiva in Healdsburg in July, and they are absolutely amazing! Not only are they two very cool ladies that are a pure joy to work with, they are so incredibly talented at what they do. When we first met with them we only had a rough idea of colors that we liked and not much else direction to give them. We knew the atmosphere that we wanted to create for our guests but no specifics on the design. By just talking with us and showing us many many different pictures they began to form a design direction that was exactly what we wanted. They helped us with everything from what the groomsmen should wear to the escort cards to the gorgeous table arrangements and bouquets. Our wedding was in the middle of the summer, and we wanted flowers that were in season and easy to get, so they filled our tables with teddy bear sunflowers, white dhalias and many other fun flowers/​plants that I had never heard of before. They listened to exactly how we wanted our wedding to feel and then brought our dream wedding to life.
I’m sure that they work well with everyone, but if you’re like me and don’t have the most sophisticated design skills, I could not recommend them highly enough. Simply trust Lisa and Priska with the ideas and vision you do have, and their creativity, knowledge, and professionalism will make your wedding or event truly unique and magical!

Atelier Joya was a joy to work with. They did such a good job that the wedding planner at the hotel, where we were married, added them to the vendor list. The flowers were gorgeous. My wife was ecstatic. I could not recommend them highly enough.

I absolutely LOVED the flowers Atelier Joya put together for our wedding! Everything was just gorgeous! I have to admit that I had been nervous about communicating what I wanted over long distance, but Lisa and Priska went above and beyond my expectations. I can’t express in words how happy I am. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

ABOVE AND BEYOND is all I can say. I just got married at the Ferry Building in San Francisco. The ceremony was at Grace Cathedral and we also had a rehearsal dinner at the St. Francis yacht club. Atelier Joya did the flowers for all three. I will need to post pictures once I have them. Or you can contact the ladies at Atelier Joya and ask them about these three venues. The work they did was BEAUTIFUL!
When I was looking through flower vendors’ sites, I was struck by how fresh and clean and light all of their work was. When I met Lisa and Priska I figured out they were just like their work. Totally refreshing. The different looks they created for the rehearsal dinner and the wedding were both perfect for the rooms and events. The rehearsal dinner was nautical themed with lanterns and red, white, and yellow flowers. And the church and Ferry building was all about overflowing orchids and call calla lillies and tons of candles. The arrangements ended up being about twice as big as I had pictured (that never happens.) And my bouquet and the place card arrangement was AMAZING.
Essentially, Lisa and Priska are wonderful to work with. Their work is beautiful. And they have beautiful ideas for any and all venues. They are very collabrative. And even when my Mom and I were having a true mother/​daughter bridal moment — Lisa and Priska were nothing but cool and helpful. And, I felt like what they charged for their services was totally fair. All around — perfect.

Our event production company, Delysium Events, has had the good fortune of working with Lisa and Priska for several years. We are consistently impressed with their gorgeous work. They are extraordinarily creative with a clean, modern aesthetic that we love. They always interpret our vision with style and imagination and we have NEVER been disappointed. They are also extremely professional and easy to work with them. I highly recommend the Joya girls!!!

I recently got married (in the monsoon of December as you fellow San Franciscans may recall) at Cavallo Point. Lisa and Priska braved the elements (literally — rained nonstop for days, wind, the works) and produced the most beautiful, warm, holiday design. My mom and I had a very specific vision of what we wanted — we wanted warm and cozy and we wanted to embrace the holiday but avoid getting into the cheesy holiday décor arena. This was a delicate line to dance on but somehow Lisa and Priska did not need further explanation. They simply got it. They worked with us to design an organic, warm, elegant atmosphere but none of it was overdone or showy. It was truly exactly what I had envisioned but better — simple, unique, and gorgeous. I loved working with both Lisa and Priska from the day I met them. They are laid back, fun, and creative but incredibly organized and efficient — exactly what you hope for in a wedding vendor. Of all the elements of my wedding (which, being biased, I loved) the flowers and the design were most definitely a highlight.
Lisa and Priska — I cannot thank you enough for making our special night so beautiful. The gorgeous, warm atmosphere you created inside made the cold rain outside fade away and added to my experience and my memories of my wedding as a whole. Thank you!
Anyone out there looking for a SF Bay Area florist — I really believe it does not get better than this…

In most every girl’s dream wedding, flowers are a must and coincidentally, in most every groom’s budget, flowers are a no-​go or at best, at the very bottom of the wedding budget priority list. Luckily for me, I married the man of my dreams and was given the ‘OK’ to splurge, albeit sensibly, on my wedding flowers.
Thrilled by this, I furiously flipped through pages of bridal magazines and wedding blogs to gain inspiration. Extracting concepts, clipping photos and incorporating them together with my own ideas, I created a PowerPoint to illustrate my vision to potential vendors. However, even with all of my clippings and photo PowerPoint, I failed to find a vendor that I felt understood my vision… until Lisa and Priska came along.
To say the least, Lisa and Priska are both incredibly talented, hardworking, professional and very approachable people. All qualities which make for a great vendor and reassured me that I was going to get what I wanted; and I did.
To be more specific, Lisa and Priska both undoubtedly have an eye for flowers & design. However, being a team of two, they seemingly divide the labor and specialize so that they can help create the highest quality outcome possible for each of their events. In my case, Lisa seemed to conceptualize and detail out the design process, while Priska handled identifying the flowers, the sourcing and the floral arranging. While some may wonder if this causes their team to be fragmented where information is lost between the two of them or that one person may be better than the other at the above mentioned tasks, I assure you this is not the case.
During the time my then-​fiancé and I were planning our wedding, we were living abroad in HK and Tokyo. On several occasions, because of the time difference, we sometimes were only able to connect to either Lisa or Priska. It was in those instances, they needed to demonstrate the ability to switch roles & tag team, which meant being very thoroughly & accurately up to speed. In every conversation we had, we never had to back track and re-​explain our thoughts and even when Priska spoke of the concepts or Lisa of the flowers, I could barely tell that I was not speaking to Lisa about concepts and Priska about flowers. With that said, it is clear that all of this was possible because they are both very balanced talent wise and also hard-​working in order to make their company a seamless operation.
Lisa & Priska really stood out to us because they were one of the very few vendors who earnestly tried to accommodate us, being that we lived ~13+ hours ahead, by making the effort to stay up late or wake up early if needed. These ladies were always responsive and available to speak throughout the entire planning process. A very professional quality to have in a vendor.
Professionalism however extends past the great service and attitude which they so prominently displayed, but the quality of product as well.
The flowers which Atelier Joya brought to our wedding was above and beyond. Set atop of the Apple Orchard & Hilltop dinning room of the Carneros Inn, Priska and Lisa revealed an immaculate set up on my wedding day and I was overwhelmed at how outstanding a job they did.
From the decadent wood branch arch that stood at the altar covered with clusters of white hydrangeas and cymbidium orchids, to the hand-​calligraphy french window escort table display surrounded by bell jars of little birds in nests and blooms, to the simple elegant touches of cymbidium blooms placed on the napkin-​menus at each table setting. Besides my groom and our friends, everything warm and lovely about the wedding was because of the beautiful floral and décor arrangement.
Overall, I could not feel more lucky to have found Atelier Joya and cannot rave about them enough. These ladies are hands-​down one of the best wedding vendors in the Bay Area and are worth every penny!

If you are considering Atelier Joya as a wedding florist and designer, then you are the kind of bride that wants to set herself apart and define her wedding by personal style and to know, without a doubt, that no matter the design aesthetic – rustic, modern, formal, eclectic or something therein – Lisa and Priska can and will deliver. They will take a seemingly random hodgepodge of ideas and generate an event that is not only stunning and cohesive but actually reflects the personalities of you and your husband to-​be.
To say that I was a demanding bride would be an understatement. I am a self-​confessed design junkie and micromanager and had very exacting ideas of how I wanted my wedding in September 2010 at Beaulieu Garden to look and feel. My wedding planner, though awesome with a capital A at planning and execution, didn’t necessarily always see eye to eye with me insofar as design was concerned. I didn’t want a garden wedding with tablecloths and been-​there-​done-​that table arrangements. I wanted fresh and clean décor infused with plenty of glamour (albeit in a garden/​winery setting).
Enter Lisa and Priska who were part psychotherapists and part style mavens. They listened, and listened some more, and even listened into the wee hours of the night. I kid you not, we talked about gradations of color and what I liked about particular floral arrangements for an entire afternoon. They were receptive to my critique of their design ideas and suggestions and took everything in stride. As a bride, you must recognize that not every design idea is going to be a home run, but the more input you provide, the better the final product will be. Lisa and Priska never once tried to push me into a design decision that I wasn’t 1000% percent sure about. At times, I felt pressure to settle for a design element that was just okay, but that I didn’t really love, just for the sake of «getting it over with» and «making a decision already.» Lisa and Priska worked with me time and time again, even if it meant starting over again at Square One, to make sure that my wedding vision came to fruition.
Beyond their infinite patience, I trusted Lisa and Priska’s taste. I used them as sounding boards for just about everything – cake design, lighting, menu cards, guest welcome bags and favors – you name it, Lisa and Priska had a hand in it. Perhaps most importantly, they generated ideas that were totally fresh and did so without causing me to break the bank (for example, they sourced candleholders that were cheaper to buy outright than to rent and went out of their way to visit multiple fabric stores to find the perfect patterned fabric to compliment my overall décor).
When the day of my wedding came, I was prepared for everything to look beautiful, but it really was beyond that, it transcended beauty and blew every one of my expectations out of the water. From my bouquet, to the lounge, to the cake display/​fireplace and tabletops, no detail was overlooked and Lisa and Priska even threw in last minute touches that were unexpected surprises for me and my husband.
Perhaps the best possible compliment that I can give Atelier Joya is that, the morning after the wedding, while my husband and I were snuggled in bed together and rehashing the events of the previous day, he turned to me and said «they were worth every single penny.» Mind you, this was coming from a man who moaned and groaned about pretty much every last dollar we spent on design and florals. For that, I have Lisa and Priska to thank.
If you are smart, you will book Atelier Joya lickety split. You will not be disappointed. I promise.
P. S. All the planning for our wedding was done long distance, as I am in Chicago and they are in SF. So, no need to worry if you’re planning from afar. These ladies are great when it comes to long-​distance relationships!

My praise for Atelier Joya could be misconstrued as being biased, due to a particular familial relation with one of the three masterminds behind the fabulous event production team, however, don’t be fooled… If there is one thing I have an eye for, it is for those small details that either make or break an event.
This past Memorial Day I attended an event that is duplicated by millions (this may be an exaggeration but, bare with me) of Americans, ready to fuel up on beef and booze. Being one of the «millions» of Memorial Day BBQ’ers, I RSVP’d for a Memorial Day party hosted by none other than Atelier Joya’s Stephanie W.
Three adjectives: Organized, Adventitious, and Imaginative. All three of these attributes permeated the backyard-​bash and made it impossible not to enjoy myself. The food selection of the day integrated seafood, veggie, and beef-​kabobs with the usual backyard bbq favorites. Guests instantly felt at home as the hostess, along with a group of helpers, created an atmosphere of orchestrated hospitality.
This is definitely a business to keep your eye on and in your iPhone… after all, everyone needs to throw a party without the worry of actually throwing a party.

In March, I wanted to throw a surprise party for my husband, and I had no idea how to pull off such a feat. Luckily, Stephanie, one third of the fab trio that runs Atelier Joya, is my friend, and she came to the rescue. She helped coordinate and plan my party, with another friend, to make sure the event went off without a hitch.
When I arrived at my house, she had turned it into a red themed paradise, with a few signature drinks, great snacks, and amazing music. I would not have been able to do it without her.
I can only imagine the amazing things Stephanie, along with her business partners, would be able to create. I am searching for an excuse to have another party so that these creative ladies can help turn my crazy ideas into reality.
