Avoid this clinic at all costs, the staff and doctors there are inept, its chaos. At the moment because of an error on theyre part, they have taken all my take home meds away, no reason, my last UA was clean. It is so bad, I feal like its was intentional and personal. My counselor left her job and this other counselor just decided to go into my file and used old infractions as a reason. I feal very much attacked and will definitely sue. I have been with them for 10 years now and in that time it has been nothing but hell dealing with this place. By the way I pay them alot every month out of pocket. I will now lose my job, and being a clinic to stop abuse then how would forcing someone who lives an hour away, to dose daily be at all right. I have had a months worth of take home for years. STAYFARAWAY!

If you are NOT a heroin addict and are considering this clinic as your Medical Home as part of the Healthy San Francisco program, steer well clear. Healthy SF gives you next to no information when it makes you pick a Medical Home when you sign up, so this place may seem convenient and accessible but my experiences have been abysmal. Dr. Dio is very capable and pleasant but the entire staff seems overworked and underpaid. I never felt that my health was a priority and dealing with their admin has been an absolute nightmare. I routinely waited 14 days for authorization to fill regular monthly prescriptions, was once hung up on while trying to get someone to tell me why this was happening. Unless you’re an addict or need regular doses of methadone pick pretty much ANY other clinic. Why Healthy SF doesn’t tell you this upon signup is beyond me.

As a former counselor, I can honestly say that this place is great. The counselors are caring and the management is very professional. If methadone maintenance is your goal, and you want counseling once a week, then this is the right place for you.
