Bank of America

This bank is always messing up, I put my money in the ATM tonight I put in 105 dollars, it only processed 70 dollars, and then said that it couldnt accept the deposit so it kept the rest of my cash. I also had the same thing happen with a paycheck a week before, and they only have one teller at this location every time I go to make a physical deposit. This is a terrible bank. You guys have one job, One job! To handle money.

Why is there no choice for 0 star, Unilocal?
The only reason I come to this location is that it’s the closet branch from my office. Everytime I come here to ask for help, they just cannot do anything for me. I asked what I suppose to fill in one of the forms I got from BoA, and what they said was «please call the number on the back of your card». When I asked to how to change my last name with my foreign marriage certificate, what they said was «please call the number on the back of your card». It might be something they really didn’t know answers, but they should have called or researched by themselves before abandoning customers like that. If they are allowed to pass over all customers to their headquarter, why are they there? We only need ATMs, but not useless tellers.

The slowest services EVER! I’m just waiting in line with others and no one at the teller counter. As a line is building behind me. What kind of services is this!!! I would give it a zero.

Everything is pretty standard here. The tellers aren’t the quickest when problems arise. I appreciate the 3 atm machines outside though.

I don’t understand why this location opens so late and closes so early. While most banks open their usual 9am to 6pm, This location is open mon through Th from 10 to 5. Why?!.
Another issue: I came in at 10 am and there was already a line of people, but there was only 1 teller!!! Actually, there were two, but the other teller is not taking cash deposits. This is appalling customer service. Don’t get me wrong, The tellers at this location are really friendly, but I think the problem lies on how They staff this location. Upper management need to staff much better than they do now and hire fast and efficient tellers. I’ve gone in several occasions and this has been the same scenario. What a joke of a bank location B of A!

What did you do this weekend?
I stewed on whether or not to write this review. I never looked to see their rating, and now I know why the manager didn’t care when I said that she was giving me «1 star Unilocal» service, she already had that feedback. I am not that big of a d-​bag on most days.
The unbelievable thing that happened to me at this branch? Read on Mann/​Frau!
So I have business accounts, business accounts upon which there is one name, mine. I have a debt card, I have checks, they all use my signature to become valid forms of tender. I have the ability to walk in, empty the accounts and walk outside and hand it to a panhandler if I so choose. I can stand at an ATM and take money out of these accounts while the pool hall hustlers stand at my 4 and 8 waiting to get paid.
Yet, when I walk in there with a check from my customer (who in this case does happen to be their customer too, not that it should matter, except there is never a hold on an internal check) and say I want to cash this check, at this branch and this branch only they deny my request. I had my ID, the one that matches the name of the owner of the business. I had my debit card, I punched in the right PIN. All I was really trying to do was get the money in before the end of month, but as I mentioned, if I want to take the cash out into the street and tip the meter maid with it (hey, she could be really good at her job), it’s my business, my money my problem.
She was actually «able to do it» after a bunch of huffing and puffing on both sides of the counter.
Clearly she wasn’t «willing to do it.»
She also stopped to give me a lecture explaining that when my customer (my customer, MY CUSTOMER) writes a check to my business (MY BUSINESS), the customer expects me to deposit it into the companies account, «not cash it.»

I write checks to other businesses. Like a lot, and while I might have some opinions about how I’d like them to spend it, all I actually expect is that they mark my bill/​invoice/​tab/​bet/​blackmail payment as paid in full. If they deposit it in their bank account or up their as I was saying, it’s their prerogative.
If ever my customers want to make sure I deposit their check in a business account (where I can then take the money out with my debit card if that’s my motivation) they can write «For Deposit Only» on it. Or in fact you rotten bastards, I have a stamp that says that. Which is for the sole purpose of allowing me to send employees to the bank (people who do not have check writing ability, debit cards with their name on it, or the last and final word on all activities that transpire from inside of my accounts [MY ACCOUNTS]).
FYI: My clients, if you ever write that, you’re fired! I’ll no longer take your business you freak! Or at least I’m going to raise your rates.
I’ve been doing business banking with BofA since I was 19 and personal accounts (which I have 2 of as well) since I was underage. I’ve also tried business banking at a local smaller bank where they know how many wipes I used this morning before I flushed, but in the end I prefer BofA.
Where was I? Oh yeah, I hate this branch.

Terrible.
I have been with BofA since 1984 and when I work with tellers at each branch in the past, I develop relationship, am known by name and look forward to going in.
I have just moved my office to this area and have gone into this branch over five times and each time I have to wait, the boys behind the counter are always talking to one another about movies, the giants etc, and once I am asked to come forward I am met by surly brats. They seem bothered by having to be there. One in particular was down right rude-​Patrick.
Its as though they are too young to understand customer service, were never trained, do not know personally the importance of relationship based banking and have not been in the US long enough to grasp what bank customers, at least those over 30, want when they visit a bank.
I am very disappointed and will avoid this branch.

I went here to close my account. I requested that all of my savings be withdrawn (and I’d get a cashier’s check), and that a small amount be put into checking to cover bill payments that would come out the next day.
The teller took the entire amount that I requested to come out of SAVINGS, but SHE TOOK IT FROM CHECKING! Hence, I was overdrawn in checking by several thousand dollars!
I had to spend much time on the phone with B of A trying to fix this huge mistake, and then trying to fight the overdraft fees that I was hit with by the bank, FOR AN ERROR CAUSED BY THE TELLER.
I would avoid this bank. They aren’t knowledgeable enough to help you.

My local Bank of America is awesome! There are three ATM’s, so you rarely need to wait in line, except when it is a Friday night and all the Marina peeps are stocking up on drinking money. Going inside to actually talk to a human being (i.e. a teller) is always a breeze as well. I must admit, I only use the bank for the ATM or to go inside and trade dollars for quarters, but the customer service is always friendly and efficient. What more could you ask for?
