Long lines. Two tellers… right people waiting then one teller leaves and stands by line. Really!
Would make scene if went on break, but not the case. Customer Service lacking.

Please take my deposit. I am giving the bank money. Just because there is a typo with my name does not mean I am trying to pull a fast one. Again, I am only depositing a single check, same as I do every month.

The local branch is good, even though BofA overall is problematic.
I went in to close one of my accounts, and this place handled the transaction very smoothly. I was in and out within half an hour. They even refunded me one of the fees that their main office had charged me.
I was expecting to have to jump through a lot of hoops (like I had to a previous time when I tried to close an account at a different Bank of America branch), but this branch thankfully didn’t try to sell me on any bad products.
Minus one star for lack of diversity. Despite the Sunset being a historically Irish neighborhood, there didn’t seem to be any white people working there. (There weren’t any Black employees either.)

Only had to use their parking space area. It was cool. Not too mention the bank was not busy! That’s works great for me. Park. pay…and dip!

By far worst of all bank branches in the city. Slow service and nonexistent customer service. Don’t bother

I was at the bank at this branch (taravl and 20^th ave), came just for the Save box), at first the representative asked me to pay $ 140 for the fee. I said I’ve never received statement plus every time when I came for the save box so often never ask for the fee. Now they say that I have late fee. I don’t agree and then they said I can pay $ 70 in order to get your save box service. I was waiting for the service for two hours. Then later, I asked to pay $ 140 in full for the service. This person says one thing and another says different. Very bad service.

Not happy this Saturday morning! Went in 10 minus! Super under staff!!! Super long line! No sign in sheet! Banker called whoever she wanted! There was an old lady went up to the banker and asked if she can be help first? The banker took her right away! I understand we need to respect seniors but that does not mean senior has the right to cut in front of everyone to receive service. If the old lady wanted to go first, she should ask the permission from the people who were waiting before her. Also, when the banker take her, she should let the people know what was going on rather than ignore the people who were waiting. I am pretty sure, 99.99% of the time, people will let the senior go first with no problem.
I don’t mind to give her my seat and I can stand for waiting! Otherwise, the bank should open VIP line for seniors. Do not let them just cut in front of everyone without any notify. We need to respect seniors but we need to respect everyone in the society, too! We did not say anything about that just because she is an old lady!
asked the person in front of me how long he has been waiting? He couldn’t tell… lost track. Waited too long! I left without help, problem never solve!!!

Diane who works here is fabulous — always great service; she’s the best. The others are fine too, but Diane has worked a long time, remembers many of us by name, very personal and lovely bank.

I’ve only been here a few times and each time there were either no lines or I was second in line. They processed my request quit efficiently. I only needed to make out a cashier’s check and since I used to work at a bank, they did everything correctly and efficiently. They verified with me what I wanted the check to be made out to and any memos I needed. Might have been a different case if I was requesting a more complex task but for something simple, this place is pretty conveniently located. The staffing is nice just like any other bank.

This has got to be the worst B of A Ive ever banked at. So in many banks when they see a line the people who are at the desks would either work the lines by asking what they needed or help behind the counter in some capacity. Here when Ive come they just sat at their desk. Granted if there was a customer there Id understand but that wasnt the case. And with 2 customers at the tellers taking a long time and 6 in line thats pitiful. Yeah I know its not a large branch but still lazy is lazy. Talk about bad teamwork, help out your fellow employees. No one bothered to help or check the lines to notice how busy it is. Even small branches get busy sometimes.
Now Ive bank here bunch of times over the years and there always is turn over in this industry but there is one lady that Ive seen more often who acts really snobbish and stuck up. Man if I could give this place zero or negative stars I would. Its really sad as not all B Of A’s are this bad. I used to bank here out of convenience but not happening again. Fortunately there are a bunch in this area close by like one on West Portal Ave 10 blocks away that is much better, one on Irving St 12 blocks away and one on Noriega St 18 blocks.
The last 5 reviews by date for this branch are all 1 star and 11 out of the current 18 reviews are 1 star, gee why am I not surprised.

BANK SOMEWHERE ELSE or a different branch.
After many years of being a good, friendly, and loyal customer (never over drawn, two checking accounts with direct deposit, a loan) the people who work here have no sense of customer service. They really don’t care about the regular people such as myself. They are only nice to you if you give them business ($$$$) but when I need something like a check to be cashed, they freak out and claim their «policy» has restrictions. I asked to cash a check and they gave me the biggest bull s**t excuse not to. I asked them to show me the policy they claim against my request and they provided me with a vague policy that clearly allowed for considerations.
The teller, Hoa, was completely oblivious on how to speak customer service. She was insincere and probably unaware that I was a human.
Suzanne, the supervisor or manager, seemed to quote «policy» that she couldn’t provide or explain. What she probably really wanted to say was, «I don’t have to provide good customer because I don’t feel like it.»
Go find a bank or branch that has integrity and values EVERY customer.

I’ve been banking with BofA since 1993 and it’s convenient because you can find an atm almost everywhere! I used to go to the branch on Noriega, but since I’ve moved to Taraval, I started going to this branch. I went on a Saturday afternoon and Emad was my teller. He doesn’t smile, looks like he doesn’t want to be there and doesn’t say thank you. I thought he was just having a bad day, but when I returned during the weekday to make another deposit, I got him as my teller again! Uh, sorry, but I have my mortgage, a checking and savings with BofA — it would be nice to at least have a «hi, how are you doing today.» Is that really too much to ask for? Smiles are free — is it THAT hard to do? Why do you even go into customer service if you can’t smile?

I had my mortgage with BOA for several years and had no complaints about Customer Service and usually had any issues resolved without difficulty. My issue is that my mortgage was sold to Nationstar Mortgage 2 months ago and it has been a total nightmare. Nationstar’s Customer Service is terrible — everything is read from a script and I was never to get a straight answer when I finally reached someone. After much aggravation, I refinanced with another company & Nationstar lost the payoff check which had been signed for by an employee! Shame on BOA for transferring my mortgage to a company with so many complaints from the Better Business Bureau & Consumer Affairs!

I went to to apply in person for a credit card with someone as a co-​applicant thinking that there is no way they could do this incorrectly. I was dead wrong! The talented banker, Ms. Au, completely messed it up. She had my co-​applicant as an authorized user after I specifically requested the other way, and to add insult to injury, she missed spelled the now authorized user’s last name. The talented Ms. Au had actually specifically asked her Manager how to do this correctly and still managed to do it WRONG after over an hour!
Then when I attempted to rectify the situation with credit card customer service on the phone, I was told that because it was a new account, they couldn’t expedite the new card with the correctly-​spelled last name for another 2 – 3 weeks!
I suppose I should be happy that I didn’t open any other account with these idiots masquerading as professionals.
Conclusion: This branch is overrun with a bunch of idiots. Bank of America’s own «security» rules make it impossible to correct its own errors. STAY AWAY! You have been warned!

Ugh, what IS WRONG with the people who work here? I’ve been a customer for 7 years, and have rarely had any problems, except with the tellers at this location. The conversation went something like this —
Me: Hi! Can I get a roll of quarters?
Teller: Uh, that’s it?
Me: Yeah I just want to do laundry, I don’t need anything else
Teller: Have you ever considered getting a loan? Do you have any stocks? I’m sure there’s something else you can do while you’re here.
Me: No, I’m pretty sure I just need a roll of quarters.
Teller: Ugh, okay.
She then proceeded to slam the roll of quarters down and glare at me. I couldn’t get out of there fast enough.

We’ve been banking with BofA for many many years. We’ve never had a negative experience. This is our branch; however, we like BofA because there are so many ATM machines throughout the City and across the nation.
There’s been personnel turnover over the years at this branch; but that’s to be expected with any bank. People move on.
Both the tellers and the personal bankers are very professional. If the bank is reluctant to accept a check, it’s for good reason. As with any financial institution, you need to have an account with them in the event the check you’re attempting to cash has a problem such as «NSF». So what’s with the complainers?
I’ve never had anyone push a BofA product on me. It’s a nice neighborhood bank.
Free coffee too.

For the ones complaining about cashing out BOA checks for free — ever heard of standard procedures? try getting a job at bank so can understand better. Your asking somebody to turn your piece of paper to money when they don’t even know who you are — because you don’t even have an account with them. A piece of paper that says BOA does not mean fast cash — its still a piece of paper! And for those who does not know how to deposit to an ATM — LEARN!
The staff here is very friendly, very professional and very efficient — I’ve been coming here since I was a kid and they operate just like how a normal bank would. So to see all of the cry baby complainers here just goes to say how many people are out there with no money! And so they complain complain and complain — keep complaining maybe ya’ll will get rich doin it!

There is always a line here. You could be going in a 11am, a line. Or even 2pm, a line. Even with an account making change is difficult task for them to do, considering the attitude you get if you ask.
And passing by at night, I noticed this bank is so special that they can just dump their garbage into the city bin. I can bags filled with BofA statements, boxes and stuff addressed to the bank. I mean yeah the city garbage bin is located right in front of their building, but I don’t think they pay anything other than taxes like the rest of us.
I would be careful, if I still had an account here. They don’t shred their paperwork and they leave it on the side of a city garbage can where anyone can rummage though it and find your information.

These people also know I’m not interested in any of their promotional offers so they know to leave me alone. Sometimes i wish the others wouldn’t push it. Bah!
