Barrish Bail Bonds

I was called in for jury duty and decided to skateboard there. Well it turns out that skateboards are not welcome at 850 Bryant. I didn’t have enough time to skateboard back home and take a cab to court – ack, what to do?!
I walked into a couple of the bail bonds establishments across the street from the courthouse, asking politely if I could store my board there for the day, but the first two shops I went to wanted nothing to do with me.

One night while relaxing at home, I was unexpectedly faced with the arrest of my son on felony charges. The experience was completely new to me and I had no idea what to do. I only knew that I wanted to get him out of jail as soon as possible.
Fortunately, I found Barrish Bail Bonds on Unilocal and based only on their rating and previous comments, I gave them a call. As others have testified, their service was compassionate, accurate, and quick. Being unfamiliar with the arrest process, Bruce explained what to expect and gave accurate time estimates for each step of the process (arrest to release took about 9 hours). He helped me to settle my nerves and told be to wait for his phone call once my son was «in the system.» He took care of everything else and I cannot express enough gratitude for the service provided.
While no one ever expects to find themselves in this situation, it is good to know that there are services such as Barrish Bail Bonds to help you through it.

No one ever wants a call like this «We found your friend. X’s in County Jail #2.» What? What? What? Once the disbelief subsides and you begin to think somewhat rationally, the topic of bail arises.
People in jail have three choices: 1) Be released on their own recognizance or «OR» which is done by a process of the court; 2) use a bail bond service like Barrish 3) rot in jail until they go through the trail process.
If you try calling the jail like I did, chances are no one will answer the phone. For best effect, try calling several times, waiting desperately for someone to answer the phone. They won’t.
Racking my mind, I decided to try Unilocal and search bail bonds. YES! Someone has Unilocaled about bails bonds. And now, I am too.
I called Barrish. Barbara answered the phone. She couldn’t have been more helpful. What was the name of the person in jail? Did I know what person «X» was in for? «No?» Not a problem. What is my phone number? Barbara took it down and called me back several minutes later with information about the charge, the bail and my options.
1) Do nothing; 2) Come their office where I would be charged for 10% of the bail amount, but liable for the entire amount if person «X» skipped out;
3) wait and see if person «X» would get «OR“d.
Well, I’m taking option 3 for now as the cost of making bail isn’t cheap.
But if I have to plunk down hard earned cash for person «X’s bail, I will use Barrish in a heartbeat.
I hope no other fellow Unilocalers ever need to be reading this advice, but I’m grateful not to be the «First to Review» in this case!

I called and asked a question about my friends case, and Debra who picked up the phone was awesome. She took the time to explain the what I can do to resolve my problem. I dont think alot of people would have cared about helping me knowing they would not get paid, but Debra didnt mind at all. She was real sincere and took the time to help me out. If I ever needed to place bail, I will definetly call you up Debra. Thanks!

Needed to get something notarized after 6pm on Friday night before the 4^th of July holiday. It never would have occurred to me to try a Bail Bonds place before reading Mae’s review. Thanks Mae and thanks to the Barrish notary guy!

Came here in search of a notary. When all else fails, and you need a notary, anywhere near a criminal court is your best bet. Found out they are actually open til 1am for notary needs. Great place to go to sign away your life, your love, your money, your soul if you think you have one or ever did… who knows… Highly recommend it for your next notary needs.
