I’ve actually been teaching the bass off and on since I first learned to play in the early 1970’s I’ve been teaching private lessons continuously since 1995 and at this location since 2001.

I’ve been playing pretty much continuously since the early 1970’s and I’m conversant with a considerable variety of styles. I would say when it comes to genres that I’m a rocker, but with a large dose of Blues and Rhythm and Blues. Truthfully what I really get off on most as a player is the Jam Band genre where even though there are songs with structure there are also lots of opportunities to create in the moment.

What’s most important is that I can work with students who are interested in pursuing their particular interests or, on the other hand, students who haven’t yet chosen a particular path except they want to play the bass!
