The ice cream is delicious. The flavors have silly names. The fudge-​dipped cone is awesome. Thanks for bringing Ben & Jerry’s all the way from Vermont to this awesome corner shop.

It’s a small shop, good for ordering on the go on a sunny day. There are a few seats along the window. Service is A-​ok. Pretty expensive though, ~$ 5 for a small cup or cone.

Can’t go wrong with ice cream!

Waste of money! We got two cups of ice cream, one was supposed to be small, the guy made it a large. Both cookie dough, it was old and freezer burnt, the ice cream crumbled, it was dry and gross tasting. We also got a waffle cone and it came out to $ 21.00. I could get a gallon of Dryers for $ 5 that isn’t old and crumbly. I should have got my money back but was too lazy to walk back. I will never come here again!

Bought two cups and one cone and it was $ 21.00! Walked out and discovered our ice cream was awful! We had cookie dough and it was crumbling. Like crumbs! Not the dough but the actual ice cream. And it tasted bad. We didn’t go back because we already walked away but we al threw our ice cream away. Total waste of money and really disappointed that they would serve such rancid tasting ice cream.

Came here with my boyfriend i bought a 6.25 worth of ice cream. I gave the guy 20 dollar and he gave me back 4 dollar change. And he immediately rush to the back. But i waited for him to give me back the right amount of change. Overall the ice cream was good. Just make sure to count the change you get back.

Super nice guys working there. This place seems always busy. Nice variety of B&J’s classic flavors as well as a few less known/​new flavors. I just wish there was more variety of the flavors we usually don’t see in the grocery stores, especially when it costs a tiny bit more to get it here. There’s a few seats to sit behind the front shop’s window, but don’t count on it as it will most likely be taken. They even got brownies and cookies that I wanted so much to buy, but death-​by-​sugar is not that way I want to go out, but they did look very tasty!

It was a crowded place on a Saturday afternoon, but the staff was friendly and moved things along. And who doesn’t love Ben & Jerry’s?! Cool neighborhood too!

Oh Ben and Jerry… how far you have traveled from Vermont. But with a ice cream named Cherry Garcia… what would you expect?
Nice location in the alternative Fisherman’s wharf .in all senses of the word.

Just like any other ice cream place but with Ben and Jerry’s flavors. We got two double scoop ice cream cones and one small smoothie and paid $ 28. Very good ice cream, decent service, but just way too pricey.

What’s up with the pint prices? Prepacked pint is $ 7.25. Handpacked is $ 6.25. If you go to Whole Foods, down the street, a pint is only $ 5.49.
They have the classics: cherry garcia, phish food, chubby hubby.

This place is great for its nostalgia, and the fact that it’s right on the corner of Haight and Ashbury. Historical art abounds fills the walls, giving it a very eclectic and old-​San-​Francisco feel. I would definitely go again to take more pictures of all the neat and quirky things they have on display. The people are nice, and I love that they are as funky as the shop is. They operate at normal speed though, which was not very helpful when the line got long.
3 stars because the ice cream itself is pricey, even if it is one flavor and without toppings. Also, there is a window counter with like 3 – 4 stools for seating. My friend hurt his ankle and so it was important for us to sit and eat our ice cream, and it became difficult when the line got long and the shop filled with people. There was no personal space, and I had to be careful that someone didn’t accidentally push his elbow into my ice cream cone. Maybe next time, I’ll buy a Ben and Jerrys carton from a grocery store and then just eat it at the corner while I look into the shop for all their cool artwork.

Service was okay… this ice cream is extremely over priced. I had a small greet vanilla yogurt and it was about $ 6 with no toppings or add ins.

Someone thought they had mad skillz to make me a birthday cake and at the last minute came crying to me and apologizing for not coming through.
I told her it was okay because other than a good strawberry shortcake, I love a good ice cream cake or pie. One of my biggest beefs about San Francisco is that all the good parlors and such cater to the «big kids». Rents have gotten so high that the classic Baskin Robbins stores are gone.
As I don’t like the ones they make at Safeway, we went to Ben & Jerry’s. They usually need 48 hours notice for a custom cake (they have to keep it super cold as they put it together), but fortunately they have a fridge stocked with cakes they’ve made in the past few days! They had a selection of about 15 and I chose the Americone Dream cake which afforded us sizable slices. The two flavors were Americone Dream and Milk and Cookies sandwiched with their homemade brownie crust and decorated with whipped cream icing and chocolate and caramel drizzle! Loved it! There is no other place to get a custom made ice cream cake like this in the city for kids or big kids. If you order in advance they can write on it.
I could complain about prices but with high costs of staff and rents in SF, I’m happy to have an ice cream shop that isnt far off the beaten path

Ben and Jerry’s has always had really good ice cream and sundaes. The Vermonster is a, try it once with friends, must.

Getting a Cherry Garcia on the corner of Haight and Ashberry. That is about as iconic as it can get. It is still alive from the 70’s and the people there are still living it. History was written here and now you can have an ice cream and watch the world go by. to much fun and way to many memories. Were you there? I was.

I only got water here, so I can’t say much about the experience, hehe. The inside was clean and the cashier was cool. I’m sure the ice cream is consistently good at all locations.
It was cool to hang out on Haight, as I have never done that until last month.

How long will a girl wait in line for two scoops of cookies and cream ice cream in a waffle cone on a Saturday afternoon? And How much will she pay?

SAY WHAT! Yeah, ya’ll…ridiculous, but I REALLY had a craving for some ice cream. I was stomping around the Haight visiting my favorite thrift/​vintage stores and had a hankering for some ice cream, so I stepped in to Ben and Jerry’s.
The two employees were nice, but so doggone slow! I get it! You like to chat with your customers, but c’mon! When the line is out the door now is NOT the time to discuss how you’re from Boston, and you hate the Yankees, and you’d rather see the Yankees lose more than you want the Sox to win, and you’re sorry you missed out on scoring tickets to The Outside Lands festival. Good lord, man!
I was also a little grossed out by the frozen fruits they had. They looked like they had freezer burn and some of the raspberries looked like poop. Yuck.
Anyway, the ice cream was okay, but way too expensive!
