Seeing Berit for Financial Planning brought to mind a recent date I went on. The guy showed up in a van, wearing leather pants and platform Kiss boots. This would have been fine if we had both not entered our 40s. When I got home, I immediately weeded out my closet of leather pants and other age inappropriate clothing, and hauled them to Goodwill.
With my closet in order, I finally turned my attention to my money. Berit saw I had the same high-​risk investment plan that I had at 25. She very gently advised me to put the proverbial Kiss boots on the curb, and she developed a age appropriate plan and that will be much better to handle any market corrections. She knows her stuff, has a very no-​pressure approach, really cares about her clients future, and makes time to answer all questions. Highly recommended!
