Brian’s studio features classical guitarists of all ages and skill levels. Whether they are young beginners, college-bound students preparing for auditions or adults seeking to expand their relationship with music, Brian’s students come away with a developed repertoire and an enhanced ability to communicate musically. His students also develop a solid technical command of the guitar as well as practical sight-reading and music theory skills all of which are applicable to other styles.
The studio is centrally located at 14th st and Guerrero. House calls are also available.

Business Owner
Winner of the Northwest Guitar Festival Competition and graduate of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, Brian Stone is an active performer and teacher in the Bay Area. With his focus in contemporary chamber music, Brian’s work will be featured in the debut recording of Campfire Songs by Seattle based composer Brian Cobb. Mr. Stone is also the dedicatee of Reminiscences, a four-movement suite for solo guitar by Bay Area composer Joseph Gregorio. As a solo performer, he has given recitals for both San Francisco and Seattle Guitar Societies.
With his undergraduate degree under the guidance of David Tanenbaum complete, Brian is currently studying with Sergio Assad in the SF Conservatory’s graduate program.
