As an adult, I took saxophone lessons and practiced regularly for 15 years, getting to the point where I could jam and perform on an amateur basis. After laying off for a few years, I got pretty rusty and wanted to get back in form and continue improvement. Brian is helping me do just that. In 10 minutes, he was able to assess exactly where my progress had stopped and immediately began offering education and tips on a wide range of topics including embouchure, equipment, tone, and music theory. He has been able to quickly guide me through exercises that are taking me to the next level in improvisation and memorization.
Brian is patient, encouraging and deeply knowledgeable about saxophone, piano, and electronic music software.

I worked with Brian for several years while he lived in Miami. He was one of the most demanded musicians down here. Brian is an amazing musician, composer, producer and educator. Not only is he a multi-​instrumentalist, but he’s also a very professional and hard working guy and is very knowledgeable on any area of the music field. He’s always willing to go the extra mile to see that everyone with whom he works can work at their best potential. I would confidently recommend Brian for any kind of musical job or situation, and we sure miss him here in South Florida.

We found Brian through Freelove Music School when he was recommended to us as a saxophone instructor for my 10 year old daughter. She had been playing a different instrument, but thought saxophone might be a better fit. She knew nothing about saxophone when we started and 4 months later she has come a long way. It was a lot to ask of an instructor to ramp up so quickly, to prepare a student brand new to her instrument, to be able to audition at the local music school in a few months. Brian achieved this with patience and skill at teaching. He is a very talented musician in his own right, but knows how to break it down to nice bite-​sized chunks and how to judge progress accordingly.

Some years ago I took lessons from Mr. Wolfe in music/​piano theory. I had dabbled a bit in playing piano and wanted to take my songwriting skills and piano playing a bit more seriously. Mr. Wolfe was recommended to me by some other musicians that I had come to know in the Miami area, as he was a proficient pianist and saxophone player.
Mr. Wolfe’s wide range of musical knowledge and background enabled me to learn at a much quicker pace than I had expected. His patience in teaching me theory as well as his wide ranging musical tastes allowed us to be able to communicate as teacher and student very well.
I have since continued to pursue music and I am thankful to have had Mr. Wolfe’s experience guide me in my pursuits. My only regret is that Mr. Wolfe is no longer in the South Florida area, as he will be sorely missed.
