We know that not every pet is out of a Norman Rockwell painting. That’s why By Leaps and Bounds make it their business to specialize in accommodating your need, even if you think it might be a little… weird. Have an extra grouchy pet? That’s ok, we get grouchy too sometimes. Does your cat need a lullaby sang to it while driving Highway One? We’ll warm up the vocal chords. Do you need the lights in your house turned on at specifically 3am every morning? We’ll set an alarm. We’ve been doing this a long time and we love it, so if you think you’ve got a need the «other» walkers won’t understand, give us a try.

History

Established in 1998.

Some things are just in your blood. In the late 1970’s, a young mother living in beautiful Coastal Northern California would, on any given sunny California afternoon, look out on the beautiful California coast. «Who,» did she wonder, «is that goofy little boy down on the beach surrounded by a dozen stray dogs?». Well, to cut a long story short, she soon made out that that boy was actually her son, and it turned out her son was actually pretty darn good with those animals. Fast-​forward a decade or two, and that young man found a way to put his talents to good use, by starting his own business taking care of the pets of San Francisco. Though, this time he decided to walk them one at a time, so they’d get a little more personalized attention, and unlike those days on the beach, he refrained from giving them all new, imaginative names like «Lightning», «Whizz», and «Superdog».
