The skin care world is constantly evolving and I pride myself in combining holistic, traditional skin care techniques as well as continuing education in advanced skin care therapies. My skin care studio is located in one of the sunniest neighborhoods in San Francisco, Potrero Hill. It represents everything I am passionate about, beauty and wellness on the inside and out. I went to Candice to get my skin ready for my big day. She is simply attuned to detail, amazing, fun, comfortable to talk to during the whole process. My skin is super sensitive & it is hard to find a place that my skin wouldn’t react to. I can say she is my go to person for facials even after my big day. :) I highly recommend her for anyone who is prepping their skin for wedding bliss glow or a just a pampering facial for sensitive skin.

I had my first appointment with Candice and was really impressed. My skin is incredibly sensitive and reacts poorly to most facials and products. However, I’ve waited several days now and my skin keeps looking better, I don’t think it’s looked this good ever actually. Candice listened carefully and asked questions about my skin and none of her products have fragrances, which probably helped a lot in preventing a reaction of my skin. She was also really gentle and customized her treatments to her observations about my skin. She also gave some helpful advice to me about my skincare regimen. But the most impressive part was how detail oriented she was! She went over my skin with a fine-​toothed comb and did a bunch of extractions, none of which had a bad reaction and contributed to my glowing skin now and likely prevented a bunch of breakouts. I’m so glad to have found a fantastic esthetician in the Potrero area.

Candice is very attentive to what your skin needs and takes the time to get input on what your concerns are. I received a combination of cleansing, peel and moisturizing and it was a relaxing experience (almost as good as a massage). I like the fact that she doesn’t push products or chat so much that the relaxing aspect of the appointment is diminished. The location is also very convenient for Potrero Hillian and Dogpatch residents.

Excellent facial today with Candice, time just flys when are lying on a comfortable table all warm and cosy! I love las htints and brow tints with Candice also.
Details: easy appt process, great email reminder 5 days out then 1 day prior.
Parking: totally easy.
Real plus: Candice does not spend a bunch of time selling products rather she teaches about home remedies and approches.
Very likable person.

Wow! I had such an amazing facial! I have been struggling with hormonal adult acne for some time now and after blindly trying different products like proactiv with disappointing results, I was at my wits’ end. I stubbled across Candice on Unilocal and I am so glad I found her! Not only is she close to where I live and parking is not a problem but she is incredibly personable, friendly, and knowledgable. She created a relaxing atmosphere while treating my skin with exactly what it needed and explaining to me how I can create my own natural skin care products at home to try first and different techniques to best take care of my skin. She could tell I am definitely into the «natural». She also took her time. Not only did I not feel rushed but I felt she really cared about helping me get my skin to a better, healthier state. I came in with over dried papery dull skin and left with a plump, more youthful glowing face!

Candice is very professional and targets all personal skin problems. My skin feels glowing and refreshing each time I’m coming back from her facials. Also, a relaxing room and music. What I really like is that she applies natural organic-​based products.
She tries to be flexible for some my personal developments — recently I’ve moved to Los Angeles for full-​time job, and my visits to the Bay Area are for limited time… It was great to have her services in the neighborhood!

I have always been very insecure about my acne and have never found someone that took the time to target my issues without pushing a ton of different products on me to try… that is until I met Candice! My skin has completely transformed since I began seeing her. She is so knowledgable, easy to talk to and honest about what may or may not work for you. I used to get facials a few years ago here and there, and then I stopped, but I recently started again. I found Candice through Unilocal and was thrilled to have discovered such a gem. She gives such amazing facials and is also very easy to get a long with. Currently she offers such a great deal buying facials in packages of 3 (buy 2 get one free). I’m addicted and won’t be going anywhere else. Everything other Unilocalers say below is spot on. Highly recommended!

I went to Candice for my first microdermabrasion facial and the experience was wonderful. My skin has never felt so soft and clean. It’s like my skin can Breathe again. She uses pure, natural products and that is very important to me. Her demeanor was professional, yet friendly and easy, and her studio is very relaxing. I definitely plan on enjoying more facials and treating myself and my skin to her care again.

On top of that, she made sure that for potentially worrying point (like the zapper — loved that one), I was comfortable. I feel like a million bucks, especially with the facial massage that put me to sleep!

Just came back from the facial. It was very relaxing and soothing. Candice is great at doing extractions — backing up 100% what was said earlier, she is thorough, yet very gentle, so you don’t look like a clown when you are done.
With the amazon deal, it was a really awesome value for money!

I had an appointment with Candice today and it was such a wonderful experience! She is attentive and sweet and has great energy! I’ve had other facials over the years. They have always come up short and were punctuated by the big product sell at the end. As a matter of fact many of them just felt like hour long product demos. Not so with Candice. I told her what I was using and she gave me a couple of tips. The only time she mentioned product of any kind was when I asked her what she used. Candice has the touch. You can feel it through her hands and fingers and it is healing. She is honest and works with integrity. I felt happy to have been able to share that time and space with her and plan to return.

Candice is not only a good esthetician, she gentle and precise and the studio atmosphere is relaxing, light and welcoming.
One more thing: Candice does not try to sell you products or change you to her preferred line. When asked, her advice seemed genuine and honest.

What a wonderful treat it was to get a facial from Candice. I was referred to her by a friend who has had many facial treatments from Candice, and goodness am I appreciative! Candice is super talented — her treatment was thorough and deep, but so very gentle at the same time. And my skin is now glowing!
The whole experience was so relaxed — a warm, heated, and cozy blanket to nestle under, soothing music, and very easy, sweet conversation. The treatment was about an hour and I felt so pampered with fragrant lotions and light massage during the treatment. She’s really great & I highly recommend her!

Wonderful, relaxing, hydrating facial with Candice. Really enjoyed it! Her space is tucked away in a wellness/​health center that can be hard to find in between Farley’s and Hazel’s kitchen on 18th. Despite being a Potrero Hill resident it took me a few double takes to find.
Candice is a great listener and genuinely seems to care about her clients and tried to provide solutions/​suggestions for skin issues that I’ve been having as well as some tips for general skincare! I felt relaxed and regenerated after our session and plan to return. It’s great to be able to find local businesses that you want to support as a result of a great service.

I just received a great facial from Candice. We started discussing my skincare concerns and needs. Candice listened carefully and gave me great tips, based on my skin type and condition.
The facial itself was extremely relaxing. On a wet and rainy night, the treatment room was cozy and the heated blanket was an extra plus! Candice carefully explained each step of the process. I typically leave facials a bit red and splotchy, but not this time! The extractions were gentle and yet still thorough — a rare find these days!
Her studio is in a great location, with easy 90 degree parking (no parallel!).
I highly recommend Candice. She does a thorough and great job, and is a fun girl as well! I am already thinking ahead to my next facial…

Candice works miracles! I swear she takes 10 years off my face and my mind every time I go for a facial. First of all, she’s in a great location with easy parking. When I walk into her beautiful soothing salon and am welcomed with that great smile, I immediately begin to relax. Next, she goes to work on my face… each visit is different.
Don’t know how she does it, but her extractions don’t even hurt. Her Galvanic machine rocks. Her facial massage puts me to sleep. Next thing I know, I have to go home… too bad. BUT, I get to leave looking and feeling years younger. Thanks Candice.
