I came here for braces because I wanted to closed the spaces between my front teeth. He recommended only getting braces on the top and charged me an outrageous price. After two years the spaces between my teeth came back and I decided to go to another dentist. Turns out I only needed a retainer to fix the problem. He is dishonesty so be careful. Go around and get estimates before deciding on him.

My wife has been going to Dr. Chan for several years. He is very responsible. She had a difficult procedure, and Dr. Chan wouldn’t declare the job done until she was completely satisfied, and she certainly is. My only regret was after years of my wife nagging, I didn’t switch dentists until mine retired a couple of months ago. I now experience and can see Dr. Chan’s quality of work firsthand.

tl;dr — Stay away from Dr. Chan. Dr. Chan put in a filling poorly leading to another cavity forming under the filling. He drilled out the old filling and put in a new bigger filling with his brute force and unskillful technique, he cause the tooth the crack. My new dentist told me that Dr. Chan had done a poor job and that I now needed a root canal.
TERRIBLE. Stay away from Dennis S. Chan! I had to switch to this dentist due to a change in my insurance, and oh man has my life been made miserable by this «dentist». I had a cavity in one of my back molars, and Dr. Chan filled it up for me no problem. My first experience was fine. The cleaning was nothing spectacular, just average, and the workers at the front desk was easy enough to work with. Well, 3 months later I started feeling this achy sensation whenever I drank cold water. I went back and described the pain to him and he asked me to point out exactly which tooth it was. Well, I couldn’t pinpoint exactly which tooth it was, so I told him approximately where I was feeling this ache. He made me feel extremely upset. He basically left me alone with a cup of cold water and implied that I was stupid and wasting his time. After way too long, he returned to my seat and I told him whichever tooth I thought the pain was coming from. He took a look and told me that it was a cavity under a filling that was already in place. He said that it was probably because the first filling was improperly/​unskillfully done. (LOL, HE DID THAT FILLING!) So then, he proceeded to drill out the filling and put a new filling in. It was excruciatingly painful! The new filling was very large and very close to the nerve. I felt he was very forceful during the procedure, pushing down so hard on the tooth and my head was forced against the headrest. He sent me home, and that night I was in pain and could not eat. Few days later, everything was fine and dandy. Another few months later, I was getting that same pain in the same location again, but at this point at had switched dentists due to another insurance change. I went to the new dentist and immediately he told me that I needed a root canal. My tooth was cracked from the filling that Dennis Chan had put in. My new dentist told me that he felt that the filling Dr. Chan put in was done unskillfully and caused the tooth to crack. So now I needed a root canal. Great. Thanks Dr. Chan.

Dr. Chan did my braces and he also extracted 4 wisdom teeth. I have a great relationship with Dr. Chan cause he actually cares to know about his patients’ lives and I enjoy chatting with him while I change out my bands for my braces. He is a great guy and I really recommend him to others. He is super busy but he does make more time for his patients. I haven’t been back in a long time but I’m sure he still remains the same from all the referrals I sent him. My friends really like him!

So I’ve been coming here since this place opened up. My insurance covers absolutely everything! So If you haven’t heard, I got an insane sweet tooth. I came in with 13 cavaties. I got all my fillings done within two days, and the only pain I felt was from the numbshots. He was nice enough to use a type of orajel or something to numb my gums a bit before, so the pain wasnt TOO painful either.
I needed a root canal, GUYS, let me telll you, it was so infected up to the point where it was affecting my nasal cavaties. I had green mucous coming out, TMI? IDC! My root canal was an intense 6 day attempt. The insurance company did not want to give up the money, incase he fails, but you know what? YOU MADE IT DR CHANN=) my sinsuses were so much clearer after that. I felt absolutely no pain, infact, it tickled. Ive heard of all sorts of stories from root canals, &I was the lucky FEW that experienced absolutely no pain.
Hes wonderful, always on time, and he remembers his patients. Talks to me like hes my friend. My dentist is my friend. So make a new friend/​dentist, go to Dr. Chan, you won’t regret it. +He’s dentist of the year=) His wall is filled with his numerous awards
