Chez Shivy Spa provides a variety of services from luxurious Facials to very relaxing massage. Try our Hot Stone, Deep tissue, Swedish, Reflexology, Pregnancy and Aromatherapy massage.

Our specialty is a modern face lift and toning treatment. A very popular treatment is the Aromatherapy Body wrap which hydrates your skin and leaves you feeling deeply relaxed from head to toe.

If you have unwanted hair we have the wax treatment for both Women and Men.

Tantalize your toes with a detox foot bath, reflexology foot treatment and paraffin wax foot dip. Ahhhhh!

Established in 2007.

Siobhan started Chez Shivy Spa in May of 2007. Chez Shivy provides a secluded studio space for clients to enjoy spa services without the rush of the outside world. All services are by appointment only so each client can experience pampering and relaxation without interruption.

This review is long overdue! I’ve been coming to Siobhan’s lovely spa/​studio for almost two years and have nothing but good things to say. As a massage therapist, she’s extremely attentive to whatever your needs may be – just let her know what areas you’d like worked on and she’s on it. She’s very attuned to tight, knotty, and imbalanced areas in your body, diligently works on those, and also has a fair amount of experience in reflexology if you’re into that. She also has a variety of essential oils available to further infuse your experience — besides the actual massage, my favorite part is smelling lavender on myself for several hours afterwards.
I’ve gotten a few facials from her as well, and these are equally blissful: not only is the actual facial extremely relaxing, but my skin always feels and looks wonderful for several weeks after a treatment.
Lastly — and very importantly for those of us still dealing with crippling debt from med school whilst making less than minimum wage with the hours we work as post-​graduate trainees — she offers a resident discount for all services and super flexible times. I can’t tell you how this kind of understanding, on top of everything else wonderful about her, means to me… and hopefully to you too if you need some relaxation!

As a repeat customer, I can’t believe I have not reviewed Siobhan before. I come here for skincare and massage but mostly for facials. Siobhan’s experience is unmatched in the world of skincare, imo. She is experienced in her care and how she performs the services, knowledgable about different skin types and always gives me a little extra scrub or peel for being a repeat customer. She also has a healing touch which is a real gift. Her prices are reasonable and the spa is always calm, clean and welcoming. She offers a teen facial for my kids too which always helps with clearing pores, refreshing and educating them about their skin and how to care for it when they leave. We love this place!

Chez Shivey is awesome. I needed a place to go for an emergency visit because my back was acting up. I found Siobhan on Unilocal and noticed I live very close to her. When I called to set up an appointment, she told me she was closed, however because it was an emergency she took me anyways!!! How awesome is that. Just for that she gets 5 stars!
She was able to work deeply on me and loosened a lot of my muscles. The massage was perfect. She also did some wonders on my feet. I am so glad I found her, she is going to become my new monthly stomping ground.
I highly recommend Siobhan and if you have back, hip or neck pain I strongly recommend her.
She is also very friendly which helps.

Siohban is the best massage therapist in San Francisco. I found this hidden gem private spa by accident six years ago looking for a great massage therapist who specializes in deep tissue massage. I always feel well cared for and relaxed upon departure.
Are tired of the mere glitz and paying for the ‘department store/​Nob Hill’ kind of overhead — and you are looking for a great massage, reflexology, or facial — Siobhan is THE ONE.
There are «spas» on every street corner in SF — and they vary wildly in both the expertise and professionalism you encounter. Siobhan is a cut above.
I appreciate Siobhan’s wonderful talent as well as the serenity of her salon… my friends and I know Siobhan is a well trained, outstanding masseuse. She is a gift we give ourselves!

I have had a chronic neck injury for the last five years, with painful muscle spasms on a regular basis. Since I have been going to deep tissue massage therapists for years and none of them made any headway, I scheduled a massage from Siobhan, just expecting another typical feel-​good massage.
She worked wonders. While she was getting started, she asked questions about my problem areas and identified which muscles were causing my neck pain. Almost immediately into the massage, I began to feel relief in my neck as she worked those key areas to relieve the tension I’d been carrying.
Afterward, I felt more relief in my neck and upper back than I’d felt in years. I’ve been going to her ever since.
Chez Shivy spa is a gem in the sea of poor quality, overpriced massage places in the city. Every dollar I have paid here has been money well spent. Get just one massage here, and I’ll bet you’ll already be planning when you’ll make your next appointment with her before the massage is even over.

Siobhan is a miracle worker. My back and neck muscles were so messed up I couldn’t move. Pain was radiating down my right arm. It hurt just laying in bed. She was able to get into the muscles and remove all the knots. The next day, I was 95% recovered. I highly recommend her for deep tissue needs.

I have just had my second massage with Siobhan and am feeling great! I had severe shoulder pain before the first massage and was planning on scheduling physical therapy. She worked deep and I am 90% recovered… it’s amazing! She has strong hands and intuitively knows where to work on the body. I couldn’t be happier to have found her!

I bought a Groupon for a facial at Chez Shivy and got more than I bargained for. I asked Siobhan if there was anything she could do for my hands as they were looking like something out of a creature feature film. They were all dried out and looked like they belonged to someone in their 90’s. Siobhan recommended a non-​chemical peel and it worked wonders. I immediately saw results and had a few other peels a couple of weeks out. I am no longer ashamed of my hands, they look so much better. She also recommended that I buy a specific hand cream, not one of her products.
I appreciate the fact that she is not pushy and doesn’t try to sell you every treatment under the sun like some spas are in the habit of doing. Siobhan is super friendly and a pleasure to spend time with. Oh, and the facial was great too! If you have any skin issues, particularly in the hand department go see Siobhan!

This was a fantastic experience. Siobhan is really wonderful — her space is beautiful, clean, and peaceful, and she is warm, friendly, and most importantly — talented and knowledgable!
Her massage was so thorough, and she really listened to me and what I wanted. My shoulders are sore today, but that’s what I need! This lady is strong!
She is super talkative, but will also quiet down if you do and you’ll have some relaxation time. She also has Sirius radio, so choose your station!
The luxury facial was also really wonderful and relaxing. She talked to me a lot about skincare and products, and I left feeling like I know how to create a better regimen for my skin, even without buying anything new.
This well-​run business is just her, so the only downside I suppose is that you have to wait on the street in a residential neighborhood feeling a bit awkward until she’s done with her previous client, but it’s totally worth it, and it’s a nice neighborhood.

This was my first time getting a facial with Siobhan, after reading all the reviews I decided this was a no brainer, haha! I’m VERY picky about my facials because I’m one of those people who literally obsess about their skin, and Siobhan was almost like a psychic! She knew exactly what I wanted and exactly what my skin needed and I laid there all cozy for an hour and a half just chatting about life and love like she was a dear old friend… I left with a youthful glow, and skin as smooth as a baby’s butt… and also with a grateful satisfaction that I had finally found my perfect facial! I started seeing Siobhan a few years ago when I went back to work full time to join the ranks of working Moms. I was exhausted. Everyone I talked to said you have to go see Siobhan. When I did, I experienced why everyone was raving about her. Shiobhan is a true healer and

i tried to purchase a massage gift certificate as a Christmas present for my wife. I called and made an appointment to meet with Siobhan to pick up the gift certificate on the street outside of the «studio» (which is actually a house). i showed up 5 minutes early and waited in the car. At the designated time I didn’t see anyone waiting for me so I got out of the car and waited in the drizzle. I tried knocking on the door and calling her to let her know i was waiting outside but never saw or heard from her. i eventually gave up wet and dejected, without a present for the wife. a terribly frustrating experience.

Siobhan is an angel. Anytime I go to her I know I am in excellent, caring hands. She is extremely compassionate, and you can’t beat her prices. I’d pick Siobhan for a fantastic consistently wonderful massage any day, over a day spa. She also works out of an office in San Bruno which is lovely. I only wish I could see her more than a few times a year. It doesn’t get any better than this! I have tried both her massages and facials and highly recommend both.
