Extremely minimal selection, mostly empty shelves really. The items they do have are overpriced, and to top it off they have an $ 8 minimum to accept credit cards. Please do yourself a favor and go elsewhere!

I live right across the street and can say their selection is absolutely terrible. Not to mention they charge double what the trader joes/cvs down the street does.

If you’re getting off the #1, you can stop here and get some reasonably priced beer. It’s a pretty basic place. I like to come up here just to force myself to walk up the hill. :)

Chicos’ close proximity to The Masonic already puts it ahead of the game. You wouldn’t think a liquor store would be around the corner to all these luxurious steakhouses and businesses, but it’s a safe haven for those who want to pregame. Nothing too fancy here — just your typical brews and booze at slightly inflated prices. Still, I can guarantee you that the prices here are way cheaper than the ones in the theater.

This place needs to be shut down. Its filthy. There are live bugs in the fridge! When mentioned to the clerk he said he knew. Perhaps«Chicos» standards are different than the US.

Viva Aloe! Only place open really late(don’t think I’ve ever seen it closed) but has most of the things you need for any kind of night you’re having When you’re sick: Tylenol, Bandaids, kleenex Watching movies: popcorn, chips, drinks, soda Break up: ice cream, carbs, kleenex Wild night: alcohol, redbull, Bandaids Other items I noticed: spam…

So check it out. This is the typical neighborhood bodega. Bo-day-gah, for all you non-New Yorkers out there, here’s the breakdown: — All the«food» available is either expired or close to — Beer, cigarettes, blunts are going to be your best bet — Yes, there’s munchies

Glorious Chico’s. This is how my conversation typically goes with one of my room mates «Hey, is chico’s still open?» «Lemme check» — Peek head out window — «yeop…» They have a pretty good beer selection for such a small liquor store: bunch of Stone, Sam Adams Imperial Series, Racer 5, Lagunitas, rando belgians, and then the BMC(bud miller coors) if you are trying to play some drinking games. They even have a small fruit/citrus selection, limes, banans, apples, lemons, etc. They have those aloe waters also that my room mate is also obsessed with.

By far the best corner store in the history of corner stores. Incredible service, prices, and shopping options. If they don’t have it they will find a way to get it.

Chico’s is my go-to neighborhood spot for Fruit Punch Gatorade and lottery tickets. What more could I need? OK, fine. Chico’s has all of the liquor store basics plus a convenient location.

Chico’s is great for the essentials, which in my book means wine and P Funks. I may have bought a bag of chips and a lottery ticket there once, but usually I stick with the wine and P Funks. Mike, the owner is great and even told me that if I was lazy he would deliver wine to me and all I had to do was call. That, Mike, is NOT a good thing but you are so sweet to be such an enabler! My only reason I can’t give my favorite corner store the big 5 stars is that sometimes the red wine is stored a little too warm.

Chico’s is a stones throw from my flat. SOCONVENIENT. Mike, who I think is the owner, is very friendly and customer oriented. He was low on a certain wine that I am partial to. When I inquired he told me he would order more cases. 2 days later the fridge was FULL of my fave wine. Great prices on Grey Goose as well as other top shelf liquors. I love supporting local business.

One of the Chico’s guys is a grouch, man. They do have some British candies. If You Say Tomato is closed you might want to go here.

Just a liquor store. The guys who work here are pretty laid back, and usually watching TV until you get to the counter. They are glad to help, if you have any questions. Nothing special about the selection they offer, just your average liquor store items. It’s convenient to the 1 California line, which stops just outside.

They always have my necessities: cheetos, pepper jack cheese, ice cream and sufficient beer and wine to quench any girl’s thirst. What’s more, you can usually tempt Mike the owner into a game of poker(when he’s not already bombarded by his band of neighborhood groupies).

These people have saved my ass more than a few times, whether it be for an impromptu party, or with coffee filters, eggs, milk, quarters, or a caffeine fix. The owner rocks — laid back, reassuring and flexible. They have just what you need at good prices with convenient hours. I have nothing but praise for this little shop.

If you need an emergency egg or ½ gallon milk and live w/in a block of this place it works. Dont Believe the whole British foods BS a few bags of crisps and a Tiger bar, do not make a British Foods Market.
