I don’t know why so many people don’t like this place. Good prices and service and the food tasted great, definitely will go back if I’m in the area

Chow mein two combination plate with chicken and vegetable beef $ 6.50 with tax $ 7.07. The chicken was a bit salty but overall acceptable. The vegetables and beef were pretty standard. The chow mein was quite oily. After eating this my stomach didn’t feel that well and I had to use the bathroom. Could have been over seasoning, possibly MSG, and/or the oily noodles. Overall, this is a so-so place with the best thing going for them is price. Co-worker recommended other Chinese place on the corner of 24th and Mission.

Very bland… and the weird gel like consistency of the food was odd. No Generals Tso’s!!! What is that all about?!

Nice and ghetto. How else would I have my Chinese food.

Lackluster and extremely underwhelming. will definitely never go back to this place. I should have checked reviews before popping in — as it was not exactly what we’ll call a world class dining experience. Oh and did I mention the food was severely lacking?

I ate here, I hated it, and it was all my fault. I read the reviews, all of which basically said not to eat here. Regardless, I decided to give them a shot. I thought, «what the heck, i might be pleasantly surprised.» Well, I wasn’t pleasantly surprised. In fact, I was unpleasant for the rest of the day because I ate this awful crap. For all you Unilocalers, please don’t go here. Try the filipino place down the street, way better. I should note that I did learn a valuable lesson that day: always listen to fellow Unilocalers … we know what’s up :)

It’s not the best quality Chinese food, but it is 6 bucks for a meal! Probably wins the crown for cheapest dinner in the Mission…

Don’t go. It may taste o.k. but you will end up spending a considerable amount of time in the bathroom! My hint should have been that they hid their health department rating in a way that you could not read it. My biggest complaint is that they serve cold food. From a hot steam table. Why haven’t they been shut down yet? I mean if you serve hot food, it should be hot, right? Am I crazy on that most basic tenant of food service? Chinese food is my weakness. I’ve tried it twice, both times getting sick. Fuck this place!

Barf. I ate here once years ago and remember it being terrible. I decided to try my luck again. The egg foo young was like a deep fried shoe, the dumplings were greasy and revolting, but otherwise tasteless. The highlight of my meal was a can of coca-cola. Don’t eat here unless you either hate yourself or need to induce vomiting.

Yummy, greasy, chow mein for $ 1. What more could I want?

I have been to better Chinese fast food places. Panda Express is far better than this place. I ate at this place because I was in a rush. The chow mein tasted bland and undercooked. The sweet & sour pork was good. The fried chicken dish tasted dry and bland. Overrall, I was disappointed. However, the restaurant looked nicer on the inside than some of the restaurants around that area of town. Also, it was clean.

Eat here only in case of emergency. The chow mein noodles are typical of these fast food joints: noodles, chicken, cabbage, carrots, and lots of oil. And then after you eat them, you’re like«oh my god, what have I done?» «Regrets, I’ve had a few…»

Just a quick note – my old post was rather rude. Truth be told, sometimes when I feel like crap, I run straight to Unilocal and pick on my least favorite restaurants. I feel like this last time, I may have insulted some fellow Unilocalers, and I am sorry for that. I have edited my post.

Wife had leftovers from the previous night. So I’ve decided to «brown bag» my lunch to my site in the Mission. Every now and then, you need to bring your own meal from home to work. You can’t spend money every single day to go out and eat… unless my co-worker pays for my meal. I have meat and vegetables for lunch, but no rice. I need some starch for lunch. So I landed to this small«Hole in the wall» Chinese deli to get something to accommodate my leftovers. The small, but dirty deli has a 1 – 3 item lunch combo, ranging from $ 4-$ 6.00. They also sell single items too. And just by coincidence, one of the cooks just made and brought out a fresh batch of Fried Rice. I took a box of the fresh fried rice for $ 2.75, which contained rice, peas, carrots, bits of scramble eggs and Barbecue pork. With the lunch combo seeming to be popular, presumably this place goes through a lot of fried rice, and it’s always fresh. Considering not many Asians dining here, the friendly ladies were not shy to pack my fried rice into the white box. Maybe my uniform has something to do with the nice treatment. This place is «cash only.» I would highly avoid the deli’s lavatory, because it’s dirty, repugnantly hideous and nasty. There no paper towels and the walls are covered with tons of graffiti. Just get your food and take it «to go».
