The best BJJ in town!!! Clovis has plethora of experience and is the only 5^th Degree Black Belt under the late Carlson Gracie Sr. you will get a one on one experience with this gym.

School has plenty of mat space and all students are very respectful. But, just like another reviewer wrote, Clovis, often times, doesn’t show up to teach without notice. However, there is always another able assistant instructor who teaches in that instance. There are only BJJ classes three days per week, so if you’re going to compete, I would suggest finding a school which allows you to train at least five days per week.

I’ve trained with Clovis for well over 5 years. He’s the only 5^th degree black belt I know that will get on the mat and grapple everyone. Because it is a relatively small school you’ll get one on one instruction from one of Carlson Gracie’s best.

I’ve been training with Clovis for the better part of a year now, and I’m happy to give him an unconditional recommendation. I looked into several places to train in the city, and I knew I found the right gym when I saw how the classes were being run, and how much attention Clovis was giving the students. To say I prefer to train with Clovis is not a slight to other instructors or dojos in the area, but rather a nod to his abilities as a teacher. Sure, you will roll (spar) in almost every BJJ class you go to, but the feedback you get while Clovis watches is incredible.
Rounding out Clovis’ instruction are two fantastic brown-​belts Adam and Dave, who also run an open-​mat on Saturdays.
A minor point to some perhaps, but the dojo where Clovis teaches is very clean, and the owner takes pride in keeping it that way. No leaky ceilings or dirty mats here.
