Really liked this place because I was on a detox diet and couldn’t have all the usual things I really like about eating and they served me the special of the day(which was still special days later and probably still is today) which was a delicious organic spring mix and chicken breast salad that was so good(6.95). Yummy. I’ve had a couple decaf Americanos and a full-caff coffee there which were super delicious sitting in the back while reading David Hawkins’ books on the sofa(and no, I didn’t muscle test to see if the food was good, it just is). I also like that the other cafes have Aussie bites and brownie bites at 50% higher prices than Coffee Luvers(45 – 50 cents each) and the rest of the menu is very reasonable. Good place in the neighborhood. Hope they stick around, but I know it’s hard to keep a café open in this town.

Very welcoming and warm… not bustling with people or to-go traffic and making it seemed like a «busy» café. One can Netsurf/study/read/chill in their own privacy here. Saw kids studying and probably a couple other funemployed people there. Outside, there were two metal tables for three, with ashtrays for smokers( ). Inside the entrance, there are the standard tables that fit two and bench-style seating along one wall( ). The window area has cushioned seating — more like lounge — with their own rectangular table( ). In the back, there are so many couches and the décor make you think you entered someone’s living room. For real. Pricing is reasonable. The latte was good and strong, and they carry take-home coffee. I’d return if in the area — even more if the parking meters weren’t so pricey.

On my quest for chocolate chip cookies on the way to Beach Chalet today(due to medical treatments, I require several chocolate chip cookies a day… no joke), I was disappointed by my stop at another shop. Thank goodness for Coffee Luvers. I found what may be one of the best chocolate chip cookies in the city. Or maybe my medication influenced this judgement. I don’t care what it was. They were delicious and the service was excellent, sweet, and quiet. Plus, 2 cookies which I believe possessed magical powers only cost me $ 1.25, which is even cheaper than really cheap beer at the corner store. Score! I can’t speak to the actual coffee or extensive list of other things on offer here. But give them a try. There’s even outdoor seating if you’re so inclined.

This is a great café that sells good quality coffee. I am usually skeptical when a café or a store advertises the quality of their coffee, but the coffee here really is very good. They have a big selection of pastries and other coffee and tea drinks. They also got a nice aquarium in the back. I like it.
