Colin Phipps, DC

Colin is one of my favorite people in the world of health. His understanding of how the body works is incredible. I appreciate how he is able to interpret what I am reporting and then access the issue at the root, working outward from there. The adjustments are effective and lasting, each session building on the next.
I feel as though my overall health has improved since I started seeing Colin regularly. I bring my children to him and recommend him to everyone, which may be why it’s so hard to get an appointment. I recommend setting up a regular appointment! It’s always worth it.

I have been going to Colin for about 1 year now and am really impressed. I have been to other «back crackers», but Colin is more a healer/​physical therapist than the others. He focuses on the whole body and is extremely knowledgeable. Sometimes there is some torture involved, but in the end I am able to continue my athletic hobbies with minimal pain and fatigue. I would highly recommend going here. especially if your health care provider covers it!

I’ve never been a fan of chiropractics, but have changed my tune since meeting Colin. Colin Phipps is a true healer and someone anyone who is dealing with pain of any level needs to see.

wow! Made my last month of pregnancy a breeze (as far as breezes go for that month) I highly recommend!

I’ve been struggling with an elbow injury for over a year now and Dr. Colin is the first one who is actually helping me. As a healer, I know how hard it is to do truly good work, and this man certainly does amazing things. Getting an adjustment from him feels like more than just a regular treatment. My vision has improved since yesterday, my body feels healthier, my elbow feels like it’s actually healing, and I don’t feel so exhausted.
At the end of our first session, he taped up my forearm, instructed me on how to tape it myself and then gave me a roll of it to use for the week. Dr. Colin is completely thorough in his treatment: excellent massage, brilliant adjustment techniques (he adjusted my neck, back, clavicle, shoulder, elbow, wrist, ankles and toes) and instruction on what to do after you leave. If there were six stars, I’d give them. This city is lucky to have him.

Recently i started seeing Colin, chiropracter that holds office in the same building as my favorite massage place, Integral Body.
He is one amazing man.
He is not the usual chiropracter, because he will not only adjust you, but he will also address any problem with deep muscle massage, tools, exercise and he knows a lot about any organs related to your problems. Sounds a bit granola but he truly knows a human’s body.

I’ve been seeing Colin for almost two years and recommend him to everyone I know, hence the Unilocal review. I swim about 5 to 6 miles a week while having an office job. He has worked with swimmers for years and understands the unique issues we face as well as the usual mouse/​computer stress. I recently flew to DC on a work trip and compromised my back. Colin not only called me several times to walk me through exercises but gave great advice on how to avoid completely throwing out my back. He is dedicated, patient and has a good sense of humor. All great things in a chiropractor!

Colin Phipps has done a great job repairing my wrist from an injury I caused by carrying my baby, without taking any medicine. I am now fully recovered. He goes beyond just chiropractic care as he recommends exercises and stretches to help cure and prevent injuries.
He does a lot of prenatal and postnatal work.
Also, he is working on my husband to fix a collapsed arch on one of his feet. We were flabbergasted to find out he could do that!

I have been seeing Colin for chiropractic work for about a year now, and the man is amazing. I had a fall a few years back that really screwed up my sacrum, and have had a lot of pain in my back and sacral areas since then. Colin has been able to alleviate a lot of my pain through first a regular series of treatments, and then as-​needed over the past 6 months or so. He also spends a lot of time explaining why I’m experiencing the pain; how, for example, my lower back pain is connected to and influenced by the messed up areas in my neck. In addition, I have, like many people these days, some wrist and forearm pain from working on the computer, and Colin has helped with that tremendously as well.
A few other things are great about Colin. His style is very intuitive, and I get the sense when he’s working on me that he’s paying close attention to subtle shifts in my body, instead of just doing a few adjustments and calling it a day. Also, he plays great music during treatments, and has a relaxed, down-​to-​earth manner that I find extremely comforting, without ever sacrificing his professionalism at all. He has also given me a bunch of stretches and exercises to work on at home, so I always feel like my general health and healing are paramount. I also think his rates are very reasonable. See this man if you have any body issues at all… You won’t regret it!
