Courtesy Tow

After a slightly late start we arrived without incident. They were able to do what two others could not.

The battery in my mom’s car died. She called AAA to replace the old AAA battery. Courtesy Tow came to the rescue. Erick from Courtesy was awesome. He diagnosed the car’s electrical to see if it was working properly. He noticed that the battery that was installed by a previous AAA driver put in the wrong battery a few years ago. Erick put in the right one. Erick was great communicating what steps he was doing and was a really nice guy. It was the best roadside service we’ve experienced.

I’m pretty sure the guy at Courtesy Tow that dealt with me was named Frank. Someone had tried to steal my car the night before and when they put a screw driver into the ignition, it screwed it up so my key wouldn’t work. We therefore couldn’t get it out of «park» nor turn the steering wheel. The tow guy knew how to do something with the linkage under the hood to allow the car to go into «neutral», but the wheels were still at a funny angle because we still couldn’t turn the steering wheel. The car was also in a very difficult-​to-​tow location. He used his flat-​bed truck to edge it just to the right angle where he could extract it and tow it to A & C Auto Clinic where I had the ignition fixed. Very professional and talented guy.

Ok so here it is, I’m going to leave a review of the company that towed my car from the parking lot where I work. I am going to give these people a huge thank you and say that they where all a great help. Test that is right the people that towed my car and I’m thanking them. When I first looked up and saw that my car was gone I thought someone stole it and I was livid. I called the mall «security» and they took their sweet time coming up to help, once there they first needed to chase a homeless person across the parking lot before even helping me. From the rent a cop who couldn’t do anything to his boss who could but wouldn’t do anything I was getting even more pissed. There was a lady from the tow company that was there and she came over to help (I wish I had gotten her name) she advised me to call the tow yard and let them know what was going on. I did just that. I told them my story and then politely asked me if they could call me back. They called my manager to confirm I did work there and they said I could come pick up my car if I could get there by 5pm. (A half hour during rush hour) I said that I doubted I could and he pause and told me he would be there until 6pm and would release my car for free! Fraking awesome! I had my car stolen a few years back and that yow yard charged me for the tow, yet here Courtesy Tow was doing just as their name says! Thank you many times over to the guys and gal that where kind enough to really help!

I needed to be towed to my car dealer to get a new key and have it programmed. Over an hour after I was told they’d be there, a tow truck arrived a block away. I walked to it and told the guy where my car was parked. He argued with me saying it was supposed to be where he was so he was going to leave. I convinced him to drive the block to my car. He then told me he wouldn’t tow me. In order, these were the reasons:
1) You aren’t parked where I was told you’d be.
2) Either the car in front of you or behind you has to move in order for me to tow your car.
I told him I know the owner of the car behind me, so I’d go ring their doorbell and ask them to move for a moment. Suddenly the reason became:
3) It has to be the car in front. He called his dispatcher (while standing with me and not holding his phone), and that’s what his dispatcher said.
4) You have to put the car in neutral to have it towed.
I pointed out that if I could enter the car and put it in neutral, I would have a key and not need to be towed to get a new one.
So, I asked to speak with the dispatcher myself. After being cagey, the dispatcher finally told me, «fuck you» as the driver drove away.
Since this was a AAA experience, I called them to complain. I was told that I was rude to the driver about my key, and that because when asked to show registration I refused, no other driver would be sent to me. I said that I was not asked for my registration Had I been asked I would have said that my registration was in the car, I have no key, but when we got to the dealer and they opened the car I would be happy to show it.

Jorge at Courtesy Towing was professional and efficient, as well as being a nice guy. He knows his stuff. Next time I need towing service I am calling him and his company.

Will take full advantage of your unfortunate situation. Recommend finding someone else. The owner is a crook.

Jorge of Courtesy Tow responded for CSAA to tow my car to a downtown garage. He was very polite, very professional, and extremely kind. He arrived way before AAA said he would and treated my car gently and skillfully. He was a safe driver and a very pleasant companion on the drive to the garage. When the garage took a long time to deal with him and my car, he patiently and calmly waited, without any indication of impatience. An excellent employee!

This is a review for Rogelio. Courtesy came through a call to AAA for a flat tire. Rogelio was quick to respond, and was courteous, personable and professional. Changed my tire in just a few minutes. Clearly a valuable employee. Thanks Rogelio!

Laura was awesome! Really bad situation but she was as nice as could be.

Just a quick note. Thanks to Laura and her team for making what could have been a difficult process pretty painless. She was great about taking calls after hours and got me my car back when I thought I might never see it again.

Fast, friendly, and adhered to agreed time that they would arrive. $ 75 for tire change was also $ 10-​$ 35 cheaper than 2 other places I called. Thanks Danny!
