Dana Fonteneau, LMFT, SRI W.E.

I took Dana’s Psychology of Performance course a while back and am shocked to see all of the five star reviews on Unilocal pertaining to her. Dana was a very controlling, manipulative person. We were expected not to challenge or disagree with her in any way. If she perceived anyone as not going along with something she said, she would respond with either passive-​aggressive nastiness or with heavy handed personal attacks.
Dana also did not set appropriate boundaries between her professional life and her personal life. This led to her talking excessively about her parents, husband, and colleagues. Very boring and irrelevant to the course.
At one point Dana tried to stick her nose into my personal business and made a huge point of it in front of the rest of the people in the course. This issue had nothing to do with the content of the course, yet Dana seemed to think she had every right to try to control my personal life. I told her I didn’t appreciate it and she initially responded with an over the top apology. She then became extremely defensive and made more gratuitous, rude personal attacks on me. She also made up totally invalid excuses for her behavior, such as talking about her husband’s teaching.
Again, I am shocked to see all this favorable reviews for Dana. Unless she has done some extensive work on herself, I could never see her lasting long as a therapist; I certainly would never recommend her. For the sake of her and her clients, I guess I’ll just hope for the best.

I found Dana at a time of great change in my life. You know the saying, ‘when the student is ready, the teacher appears?’ For me, Dana stepped forward. The most truthful, strong, gentle and clearing experience I’ve had with an intuitive healer. I was ready to step into the next phase and Dana guided me through and up and beyond. truly life-​changing work for me.

I am so blessed to have been introduced to this incredible woman. I have experienced her healing in many ways. I have had three sessions of NFB, and each one was extremely powerful in its own way. She has supported me through some very difficult times with this technique. During the sessions, she was also able to clearly explain and raise my awareness around the circumstances I was experiencing. I found this to be extremely helpful. I am aware of the progress I have made with Dana’s support and I’m truly grateful.
I have also experienced Dana’s SRI skills in her studio and at Ultimatum, and found her instruction extremely effective, perfectly clear and incredibly powerful. She is a gift to us all. If you get the chance to work with Dana, I highly recommend it.

I met Dana after being invited to a free introductory workshop she gives about Noetic Field Balancing. I signed up after that. I have had two balancings so far and I also see her for SRI.
Wow I just had my second balancing on Saturday. Its the 5^th day in a row since then that I have woken up excited and had ideas flowing like water.

I went to one of Dana’s Saturday workshops where she introduces what she does, and what the processes would be like; it was interactive, interesting, and showed me a depth to her knowledge and experience that I’d not previously understood. Dana is brilliant, kind, funny, delightful, and a first class healer. She’ll call it as it is, if she thinks you are ready for it, but also be as gentle and kind as if you were a newborn; which you just might be after working with her!

Dana is an incredibly gifted therapist, musician, and human being. She has helped me to realize some life long ambitions and to heal. Dana is outstanding! I’m still not really sure what happened during the time that we spend together, but it doesn’t really matter. I feel amazing. If you are at all considering a balancing, I could not recommend it more. Dana is gifted at her craft the results will astonish you!

Where to begin… I can’t say enough about Dana’s work. She has a gift, a gift that I didn’t believe ever existed. I cant explain how Dana works but I can express what I felt when I left her office 6 months ago. I felt grounded, open, emotional, relieved, lighter, I felt like a human being. This is how we can all feel, it’s okay to have emotions, it’s okay to speak of our lives, it doesn’t make us less than the next person. So many of us hold onto our mistakes, our experiences, and use it as a weapon to take ourselves down when things don’t seem go the way we plan. What Dana does is remind us of our experiences and allow us to forgive ourselves and others, learn from them, and know that we are only human «no one is perfect!» We have to accept and love who we are for who we are. This process with Dana made me want to share my story because it did wonders for me. I feel truly amazing! That is what I get from Dana. I feel I can be present again, I value my experiences because they have made me who I am, but I don’t live my life hanging onto them anymore, I live my life knowing I have a great story to help others.

To be honest, I went into my noetic field balancing a bit skeptical that I would benefit from it or that I would even enjoy it. I was wrong on both counts. I think what most amazed me about the experience was how calm and comfortable Dana made me feel — even when things got intense. She has a soothing, open, genuine air about her that comes out in everything she says and does. Half the time I didn’t quite understand exactly what she was doing but in the end it hardly mattered because of the gentle, confident way she guides you through it. I left feeling exhausted — yet restored in a way I haven’t felt in years.
