Don’t go to this guy if you haven’t met your deductible. Extremely high price, all this guy cares about is money. When the receptionist told me I was under my deductible and thus had to pay $ 165 for an office visit, I told her I’d just have to be sick then I guess, and she seriously laughed in my face.
I strongly urge people to stay away from this guy.

After reading the reviews I was a little concerned, but he was the closest dermatologist to my work and I was even able get an appointment the same day, which is awesome! I was very pleased with the nice receptionist and dr. He was friendly and knowledgeable and recommended several treatments, including possibilities not thought of by other drs I’ve seen in the past. It still remains to be seen if the treatments will work, but I am happy with the visit and I would recommend him others.

I’ve gone to Dr. Dall a few times over the course of five years or so. I will forever appreciate him because I had a long term dermatological issue for which several other doctors had scoffed and told me there was nothing to be done. Well, it was very unsightly, so I kept trying and paid Dr. Dall a visit. He looked at it for half a second and knew exactly what to do. Over the course of two visits, he successfully took care of it. Gone. I saw him today for the first time in several years and the first thing he asked about that prior issue.
I read through some of the other reviews. Admittedly, my insurance covers the procedural costs, so I can’t really speak to that. But I can say he is a very friendly guy and extremely competent.

Poor service, high cost and am pretty skeptical of the diagnosis.
Well, actually, there was no diagnosis, he just thinks I should take antibiotics. A LOT of antibiotics. I would really, really advise you to seek a different doctor.

I was in the need of a dermatologist in the fall as my skin decided to revolt a week before I was heading to a wedding, so I looked at my options and decided to go with Dr. Dall since he was close to my apt and I could get there easily. That is where the easy level stops.
His schedule doesn’t really mesh with the regular work day. I couldn’t make a morning appointment and had to schedule to leave work pretty early to make it there on time. I got to the appointment and this place is OLD SCHOOL. I got a hand-​written receipt and when I got there the receptionist was typing… on a typewritter. But I figured technology or not, if this guy knows his stuff it is worth it.
So I met with the doctor, which went ok, I did feel a bit rushed as my appt was at the end of the day. I asked for a prescription to take down to walgreens and another one for my send away prescription plan. He would only write me one for walgreens and said I would have to make a follow-​up appointment to get the long-​term prescription. So I scheduled a follow-​up appointment, which he then cancelled.
I never rescheduled an appt because the meds were working fine and my skin cleared up. So I will give kudos where they are due, he set me up with a medication that works and my skin looked pretty good.
Now it is time for a refill, so I call them up to have them call a refill into walgreens and they refused. He said he needed to have another appointment just to write a prescription. I don’t have the time nor the desire to come in and pay a co-​pay for him to scrawl out something he has already prescribed before! Its ridiculous to require office visits for something I have already been taking. If it was a new script I would understand, but this just seemed like he was out for the money.
I gave him 2 stars for giving me a script that worked, but D– for patient service. I will be looking for a new dermatologist.

I had what I would consider a fairly straightforward dermatology treatment that I needed done last year. My insurance has an extremely high deductible, so essentially the cost of such treatments I must fully pay.
Dr. Dall treated me successfully to his credit. That said, he charges more than double the price of an equivalent treatment in my hometown in the north bay and reported to me by the receptionist at Dr. Schwat’s office, and more than 50% above the price quoted to me by Kurtis Opp’s office. Dr. Dall’s receptionist was unable to explain the price difference.

David has done some great work for me, takes the time, listens, and also doesn’t make you wait.
That’s pretty rare. I hope he continues to work for a long time.

I recently saw Dr. Dall and was expecting some harried doctor who’d fly into the door, barely look at me or listen to me and dash out after hastily writing a prescription. But Dr. Dall exceeded all of my expectations. He was kind and patient and listened to all of my concerns. He took the time to explain things to me and didn’t scoff at any of my questions. In an era of HMOs and corporate healthcare, doctors like Dall are a rare find. Thank you!

I am ridiculously afraid of going to the doctor, but my skin was getting super gnarly (line forms to the left, dudes), and I was itching (literally) to try out my newly acquired health insurance, so I made an appointment with Dr. Dall. There weren’t any reviews for him on Unilocal (I felt so lost and alone!!!), so my decision was based solely on the close proximity of his office to my, umm, hovel.
When I went in for my appointment the receptionist was really nice, and I didn’t have to wait long to see the doctor. In fact I could have waited much longer… where else can I read Us Weekly without all the shame?! Dr. Dall was amazingly nice, like if my grandpa was still alive and could prescribe things to fix my skin. He asked me a few questions, and sent me home with some glorious elixirs, that cleared my skin up within a few days. What a miracle.
I am happy to report that I am now a much less flaky person, at least skin wise, and he may have helped cure my doctor-​phobia, too! Yay!
