Doggiewalks

I contacted Doggiewalks because I was starting to get the guilt stare from my pup. You know the one, with those eyes that say ‘I love you so much, why don’t you love me enough to take me to the beach? It takes so little to make me happy…’ It works when I have pizza crusts and it worked this time too… I called around to a lot of difference places, but the crew at Doggiewalks was the most responsive and responsible out of all the businesses I contacted.
While it’s pretty clear that everyone there loves and understands dogs, equally important, for me, is how they treat the non-​furry customers: all the walkers I’ve had have been consistent, professional, prompt, quick with communication (even when I’ve dropped the ball on my end, oops) and genuinely friendly. They’re awesome with the ‘real’ clients as well. I noticed for example, that the walkers make Shark (my dog – my shark’s name is Cat, it’s v confusing) sit before putting on his lead. Something that I know I should do, but have gotten lazy about. Lo and behold, he’s now better trained when I walk him. Which actually turns out to be more often and for longer than I used to, because he’s now calmer, better behaved and can sit at a café like a gentleman, instead of lunging at random tourists hoping to be adopted by a better family.
In summary, I no longer feel guilty and Shark is a calmer, happier and more socialized animal. Granted he still sheds like crazy, and has recently taken to farting in his sleep from what I believe is an excess of happiness, but that’s my cross to bear. Thanks to everyone at Doggiewalks and if we ever find ourselves back in SF, we’re going straight back to the three day a week schedule!

Nicole and Caroline and their crew are outstanding! They have taken such great care of Rafi. I have noticed that he has learned a lot from all of his walkers– he is more social, and well behaved. When I started, he was just 6 months and I was terrified that he would run away off leash. He has a learned a lot and I am more and more comfortable letting him roam, and he is soooo much better at recall. I have been at home a few times when Sofia, Tanner, Nate, Tanya come to pick him up, and he goes bonkers when he sees them (especially you Sofia!!) and forgets about me.
I am a resident so occasionally I have night shifts, and Nicole and Caroline have been so accommodating in arranging night watches/​cancelling day walks for me. It has really been a godsend. I encourage other medical professionals to look into Doggiewalks.

Doggie Walks has been great with our pug pup! Nicole met our puppy before we settled on a schedule to make sure everything would work out. Shortly after Ana began taking her out on group walks and she has loved it.

Nicole and Tanya from DoggieWalks are absolutely a godsend. We called Nicole when we adopted Canela a big beautiful Pitbull angel with advanced cancer. Nicole responded right away and arranged daily walks and care for Canela with Tanya. Canela adores Tanya. She has been so kind and loving with him and is willing to help with his medical needs — truly above and beyond the call of duty. Tanya checks in with me almost daily about Canela — a big relief. I would highly recommend DoggieWalks to anyone and especially to those with special needs doggies. DoggieWalks has been an incredible blessing for us and we are very grateful for their care.

Nicole & the Doggiewalks team have been a wonderful part of our family for years now, providing a trusted and fabulous service for both of our dogs — be it daily walks, or overnight care, they always deliver, are professional, and very loving to our pups, who have thrived in their care. My husband and I, and our pug, Violet, love Doggiewalks! Nicole and Ana have been so helpful and accommodating. We live in a busy part of FiDi with no parking and when no other dog walkers would figure out a way to pick up Violet, they did! Ana takes amazing care of our precious pup. She sends us pictures and videos and even checked on her over the weekend when Violet was under the weather.

Doggiewalks delivers like the Postman — only my dog loves to see them arrive! They are incredibly reliable and professional and give my dog a wonderful mid-​day walk with a pack every day. Thank you DoggieWalks!

We have been using DoggieWalks for the past two years. Nicole and her team are fantastic — reliable, responsive, and (most important) great with our Australian Shepherd mix. We had an unfortunate incident where another dog attacked and bit our dog during a walk while we were out of town, and the walker handled it perfectly — got our dog medical attention, made sure the other dog’s owner paid for everything, handled the follow-​up bandage and wound care in our absence until we could return. She truly went above and beyond. Can’t say enough good things about DoggieWalks!

Our dogs have been walking with Doggiewalks for the last 4 years and we couldn’t be any more happier with their service. Always reliable, flexible scheduling, great rates, and extremely loving to their pup clients. The dogs always come back tired and happy from their outings.

I would highly recommend Doggiewalks to anyone looking for a dog walker in the city. I have a 2 year old Shepherd mix puppy who is full of energy. Joce takes Cooper on his daily outings and he comes back exhausted. There are times where we will be home while Joce comes to pick Cooper up, and we have seen him get very excited to see her. I know that he looks forward to his walks everyday.
I can tell that Joce is very educated on dogs and does pay attention to Cooper and notices anything different. She will let us know if his stool is soft, or if he has been itching his ears more commonly, or just anything unusual. The play groups are never too much for one dog walker to handle. This was very important to us since our dog is very active and loves to run around. Great experience with Doggiewalks and look forward to continuing their services.

We love the Doggiewalks team! More importantly our 2-​year-​old Treeing Walker Coonhound Abby loves the Doggiewalks team! Our walkers are reliable, trustworthy, wonderful with the dogs, and generous. They go out of their way to take the dogs to wonderful off-​leash areas, which is a huge bonus to our dog’s health. I’ve been to dog parks and seen other dog walkers arrive with too many dogs and then stand by while the dogs entertain themselves. The Doggiewalks crew engage with the dogs, play with them, and I love when they text me photos of Abby having the time of her life!

Nicole is the best. She puts up with all my scheduling craziness and my pooch couldn’t be happier!

Nicole & the Doggiewalks team are among the best! We have been using Doggiewalks for about 2 months now and are so happy to have their help! We have a mini Goldendoodle who is 5 months old and Nicole & her team take such great care of him. During the week, Joce, takes Hugo for 2 – 3 hours and exhausts him! Every time he comes home, he goes straight to his bed and sleeps for hours!
We also were in desperate need of a pet sitter over the Thanksgiving holiday. I texted Nicole 3 days before leaving and she had someone on her team help out on such short notice! Tamara took care of Hugo while we were gone and sent pictures and updates that were absolutely adorable. I know that every time my goldendoodle, Hugo, is in the care of a Doggiewalks team member, he is being treated like a King! I truly cannot say enough good things about Nicole and the entire Doggiewalks team!

I have a high energy Standard Poodle and a miniature poodle. I learned the dogwalker I was using was driving the dogs three blocks up to Buena Vista Park and spent his time standing around talking while the dogs were busy getting into unmentionable garbage. The larger dog was clearly not getting enough exercise so was constantly getting into mischief at home.
Carly and Rocky started going with the Doggiewalks team in November, 2014 and it has been a fantastic experience! They go berserk when the person arrives and go on several different adventures during the week. The are generally gone for about 2 hours and return contented and ready to nap. Pictures are sent periodically showing where they are going and show them having an absolute ball.
I also used Doggiewalks to petsit for a 10 day period. The Standard Poodle got very ill while I was away and the petsitter immediately took her to the emergency vet nearby (she got sick late in the evening) and then followed up by taking her to my regular vet the next day. Throughout the whole ordeal I was kept informed via text and
phone calls. She was given excellent care and fully recovered.
I can’t recommend Doggiewalks enough. I worked with Nicole Spooner at Alto Tiburon Veterinary Clinic about 9 years ago and she is a true professional and loves all animals.

I love Nicole and her team! They’ve been watching Daisy since she was twelve weeks old, taking her for walks while we’re at work and watching her while we’re out of town. She is so excited when they arrive every day, and comes home exhausted. They were even available to take Daisy at a moment’s notice when I went into labor and was in the hospital with our other baby. Recommend DoggieWalks highly for anyone looking for a walker or a sitter.

We found Nicole & Francy on Unilocal a few months ago after bringing home our puppy, Henry the French Bulldog. Times got desperate when Henry started eating entire chunks of his pee pads out of boredom, and coming home everyday at lunch was starting to get old. My boyfriend and I had reached out to several other walkers in SF, and Nicole was the only one who responded to me the same day everyday. Since then, Nicole has remained extremely responsive anytime we have updates or concerns which is quite important when it comes to the care of our little one!
Francy feeds Henry lunch, takes him out with a playgroup for 1 – 2 hours each day, and leaves Henry with a treat for the afternoon. We get pictures at least once a week of Henry and his playgroup friends, and people at the local dog parks recognize Henry from his daily walks with Doggiewalks which is awesome. Both Francy and Nicole are great with dogs– during our first meeting, Nicole gave us great pointers for training and it was clear that Henry loved both of them from day 1.
Today, we *usually* come home to Henry sleeping soundly… he’s still a puppy and still has a knack from trouble :-) But for the most part, Doggiewalks makes the lives of Henry and his puppy parents much, much easier! Absolutely a 5-​star experience!

Doggiewalks: Not just for doggies and walks!
We had Nicole and her helper watch our kitty while we were on vacation. Nicole was very responsive, and both she and her helper were great with our kitty. She checked in with us to make sure we had returned home from our vacation, too, which i really appreciate — and we came back to find Kitty well-​fed and recently brushed, too! I’m very happy to have found nicole, and look forward to using doggiewalks for our next vacation.

My dogs Lucas and Lola love their time with Nicol at DoggieWalks. She’s been taking care of Lucas since he was 8 weeks old and she has been super reliable. We use DoggieWalks for daily dog walks as well as for in home pet sitting while we’re on vacation. We took a long trip to Europe and Nicol and her team did a great job making sure our dogs were in good hands.
I think the time with Nicol at the dog parks has taught my pup great socialization skills that make him a great dog in our house.

We have a very high maintenence/​has issues/​high-​engergy/​rescue dog named Penny, and Nicole and Liz know just how to handle her! Which we are very grateful for!
Penny goes out with Nicole or Liz three times a week in a small group. My husband and I always wonder what she does on these walks. She gets picked up at home, loaded in the car with other dogs, gets taken to a park. Has her adventures (sometimes misadventures) and then gets dropped back off at home again. It’s like she has this whole other life that we aren’t a part of… it’s kinda weird! and cool!
Anyways, Nicole and Liz are great. They have been very caring, patient and responsible with Penny. I trust them with our Penny… and with a key to our house too! ;)
P. S. They always leave a little note updating us on Penny’s walks. The prices are fair and reasonable.

We needed a last minute sitter and we couldn’t find anyone that would take someone at such short notice. I don’t want to encourage everyone to do this, but Nicole took care of our kitties with one day notice, even though we were outside of her service area! She gave us updates by text message and clearly treated our cats with love.
Responsive to emails and calls, great with our kitties, I would definitely recommend her!
