From day one Amy’s team and Christina were very professional and welcoming. My husband found Dolan Law Firm on Google and I am so happy he chose Dolan. I accompanied him to the first meeting and I knew we made a good decision they knew the laws that applied to our case very well. Christina was excellent from day one about informing us about changes to our case including the settlement offers the process was stress free I feel it could not have went any better than it did. I highly recommend the Dolan Law firm. Hands down, there is not a better personal injury attorney around. Chris Dolan is an expert in his field. He was truly amazing, honest, compassionate, professional, down to earth and very responsive. My accident involved being hit by a Yellow Cab while walking in a cross walk in San Francisco. Soon after my accident Chris and his assistant, Guillermo Bustillo came to our home to make sure I was doing ok. They spent more than 2 hours at my home taking down all necessary information and quickly agreed to represent me. Chris Dolan was extremely courteous, sympathetic and empathetic, and he was truly concerned for my well-​being. The Dolan Law firm was professional and knowledgeable during the entire case process. He made sure all of my physical therapy costs and medical bills were covered, and I was never once harassed by the Defendants. The process was smooth and seamless. They took care of everything. The legal process was performed with perfection, care and expertise. Deadlines were always met and I never worried how my case was being handled. My case took nearly two years, and as we were approaching the end and close to a settlement, a curve ball was thrown by Yellow Cab — they filed for bankruptcy. Chris immediately called to reassure me that all of my out-​of-​pocket expenses would be handled and I did not need to worry. This would not be the end of my case. Given the drastic change of course in the settlement proceedings, he quickly developed a new plan of action which resulted in a fair compensation for me. The insurance company wanted to recoup all of their expenses. But, Chris Dolan and Guillermo Bustillo negotiated with the insurance company. They were able to successfully reduce the amount sought down to almost nothing! He further went above and beyond and personally called me to inform me he was reducing his firm fees. Since no one could have expected Yellow Cab to file bankruptcy, Chris said he wanted to make sure I received as much compensation as possible. This case was not about «making money» but instead about helping me. I highly recommend Chris Dolan to represent your legal matters. Chris Dolan’s drive, intellect and compassion set him apart from any other attorney I know. He truly cares about his clients and their best interests.

Before choosing the Dolan Law Firm, I met with others in SF. The other law firms I met with were not as professional and gave me false promises.
From my very first contact with the Dolan Law Firm and to the last, everyone was very courteous and professional.
I had the pleasure of working with Ghazaleh. Ghazaleh was very patient, detailed, on top of things and most of all made me feel very comfortable when discussing our case and when it was time to have a face to face meeting with the other party.
Every deadline was met. Procedures were discussed and she and the office always made sure I understood what the next step was.

Dolan Law in short was great. I worked with Natalie and Emile and they were both fantastic. They were super patient, explained the process in detail, and made me feel comfortable throughout. They are conveniently located and were always available if I had questions. The only thing keeping me from a 5 star is that it felt like it took a long time to settle all of the accounting after reaching a settlement. However, everything was super smooth and easy. 3 years ago I had a scootering accident in the Oakland Hills due to poor road conditions and faulty upkeep of the dangerous conditions by the City of Oakland. Last week, I finally received my settlement check thanks to everybody at Dolan Law Firm!
Shortly after the accident occurred, I decided to make a consultation appt with Dolan Law Firm to speak about my accident and determine whether or not I actually had a case. I had Google satellite imagery clearly showing where the dangerous road condition had been previously marked with fluorescent paint but had worn and faded over time. I had a witness. I had emails from the city’s roads department apologizing for the accident and admitting that it was on their repair plan. I also had impeccable medical records of all the doctor’s visits, x-​rays, scan, injections, physical therapy, acupuncture, chiropractics, and pain meds I was prescribed. Although I was concerned about a previous spinal injury that required surgery in my past that ended up worsened by this accident, the attorneys at the firm educated me that it didn’t matter in this case.
Throughout the next 3 years as my case was being handled, I ended up working with 3 different attorneys. I started with Joshua Watson. I only met him in person, when he scheduled a meeting to prepare just a couple days prior to my deposition in 2015. Then he quit the firm. So Matt Gramly, Senior Associate, ended up attending my deposition. I was a little annoyed by the last minute change, but everything ended up fine since Matt is great (also a motorcyclist) and the city’s defending attorney was pretty horrible and didn’t say or do much to strengthen the city’s case.
When it came time to talk settlement with the City of Oakland during mediation, Aimee Kirby was assigned to my case and despite my being annoyed at the having this case take so long, swapping attorney’s, and having to re-​send documentation that I had already sent the law firm, Aimee remained patient, professional, and thorough in her handling of my case. She explained in clear detail what I could expect to successfully negotiate for a settlement with my conditions. We talked over the phone a couple of times and when I finally met her in person during the mediation, we got along great and I left the mediation 100% satisfied in the settlement & with full faith in Aimee’s abilities as an attorney who gets things done! I can’t say enough great things about her! I only wish Aimee had my case from Day 1. But I certainly don’t fault the law firm because my original attorney left on such short notice. They made adjustments as needed (that’s life, right?) and still managed to serve the client with the positive reputation they’ve earned.
I highly recommend Dolan Law Firm to anyone who needs legal representation, especially for motorcycle accidents. They are the best!

One of the intake coordinators here, Laura, and the employment attorney, Mr. Emile Davis, were kind enough to have my documents reviewed and able to tell me how to proceed with what was happening at that time. I run a small nonprofit, and I reached out to the Dolan Law Firm to see if they had any information or suggestions on where to hold board meetings and other organized meetings. I spoke with and met Dan Tavares, whom I think is the office manager. He was very polite, professional, and helpful. We were able to use their 3rd floor space for our meeting.
Right when we got off the elevator, there was a large display that read «The Dolan Center for Social Justice». I immediately knew that this was the right place to hold our meeting. The facility had everything we needed and more. The staff was very helpful and friendly whenever we needed to know how to operate something.
I can’t say enough how grateful I am to have used this space. Shout out to Dan Tavares and his Dolan crew!

I would never recommend to anyone. There tactics are unlawful and unethical. I feel Dolan cut aside deal on my case in order to profit for his gain only. After this experience, I really hope the Bar Association would look into his practice and there is no doubt in my mind he would be going to jail on the stuff he has done to clients. I would gladly testify for any government preceding against the Dolan Law Firm.

Can you please help me understand how you feel you were mistreated, how you believe I cut a side deal and why I should be reported to the bar. Please explain to me how a 3.5 million dollar lawsuit ends with 0. Especially, after I had to endure open heart surgery, brain surgery and a two year recovery. As well as medicals bill in which I could not pay and now currently forced to file for bankruptcy and lost years of my life.
All the while, you were telling me how much of a slam dunk case I had. Then 1 week before my trial you tell me, you cant find a medical expert for my case and would not allow me to testify, unless I could pay 5000.00 for attorney fees. Then the greatest part, which I love the most, you have a meeting with Hospital
Representatives in which you walk away with an unenclosed amount for your attorney fees and close my case with prejudice. That way I could not pursue my case with another attorney.
I really hope the State and/​or Federal government, find out what your doing to clients and you serve time in prison because that’s where you belong. Enjoy driving your Bentley at your clients expense.
If want to remedy my case, please send me the money you stole from me. Because the last I checked I was the one who had to suffer, while you profited.

My experience has been incredible. My attorney is so resourceful and I have nothing but great things to say about how they handled my situation. I believe my outcome will be incredible in fact I know it will be. Aimee Kirby has helped me since day 1. She told me what she needed from my end and I was persistent about providing about what she needed.
Previous to spine surgery Aimee was and is very compassionate about my situation. SDI has denied my injury over and over and I was about to lose everything I ever worked for. Aimee gave me a resource for funding and within a day I was able to take care of everything, get caught up before I entered the hospital. I understand this isn’t an easy case, but I know what I deserve and it certainly is not a big huge bill. Everyone will end up a winner!
