Sandwich had no flavor not even proper amount of salt, service was quite shitty too. After ordering 2 dishes and paying for it, I walked out to get a quick phone call and owner yelled at me for occupying a table. I got his point but not his delivery especially for a customer

They give you a free cookie if you leave 5 stars. Don’t try’s the 5 star reviews. This place is pretty good actually, but very shady business practice.

Durso is never crowded during lunch o’clock. The staff is super friendly and they have nicely sized sandwiches and wraps. Ingredients always taste fresh and service is quick. I’ve only tried one juice so far, mega green, and its got a good tang/​spice/​hint of cucumber. Delicious!
My favorite gem if I want to go eat alone and away from work.

I got the house special and added lemon and orange. It was really fresh and tasted so good. Pretty good prices compared to other juice bars in the city. The cashier was really nice and welcoming.

Great gazpacho. It might as well have crack in it. Had to get two. Protein punch smoothie with soy is terrific and turkey panini is really good too. Fast service. Great prices $ 8.95 for sandwiches that you can get full off of.

I don’t think I have ever got a sandwich so quick! By the time I had finished ordering my sandwich it was ready. The prices are not bad considering the area.
The first time my boyfriend and I went here we got a sandwich, salad and smoothie… why not try it all, right?
The sandwich was alright… it was super quick/​cheap so I didn’t really expect it to be that tasty I would give the sandwich 3 stars. The salad bar has a great selection. I think they make their own balsamic dressing, it’s really good. Everything is fresh and the appearance is nice and clean. I give the salad bar 5 stars. I was not impressed with their pineapple smoothie but I’m willing to try another kind. I give the smoothie 3 stars.
Overall, this is a great place to grab lunch in a hurry. I’ll will definitely be back here. The staff is super chill and knows that their customers have stuff to do. It’s a great place.

Joe was great here. So friendly. I enjoyed chatting with him. I ordered a house special juice with added ginger. Very great! Service was quick and I will absolutely be back. Great way to start the day!

Can’t speak to the juices but the panini are outstanding. No heavy rolls here. Good hefty sandwich bread so the accent is on the content. The number six is my current favorite. One of the best toasted sammies in San Francisco. Try it! Nice laid back but prompt service.
One tip, while the owner does an acceptable sandwich, his employee constructs the really great sandwich. (Sorry, it is the truth.) He «sandwiches» the ingredients better and cuts the toast on the bias. This guy tends to work the rush hour and after.

I’m giving this place a 4 star because the House Special was good, but it was a little pricey for $ 6.95. The benefits is that there is now a juice/​smoothie place by my work and I can come in here for lunch if needed.

Great selection of fresh fruit and veggies for custom smoothies. Great add ins to spruce them up like chia, protein, and the usual suspects. Very good espresso drinks. Haven’t tried lunch here yet but the salad bar looks good when I walk by.

Fresh juice is always a thrill to the system. If they had more creative vegetarian offerings, I’d be here a lot more often. While not perfect, the roasted veg & humus wrap is fresh and wholesome. (Wrap could stand toasting, and more humus — or adding something like felafel — might help balance the weirdly squishy chunks of roasted veggies.) This is small place with few tables inside and a nice little curbside street patio outside, which helps you escape the testosterone-​fest music, but maybe not the startup-​meeting tech-​talk.

The set up was nice but the juice I ordered (I believe it was called the mighty green or something along those lines) was lukewarm and somewhat flavorless (I recommend creating your own mix). Also, the #10 special was a cold wrap that also was pretty flavorless, I didn’t taste any type of mint or garlic. I’ll be honest I’m not quite sure why this place has such a high rating. It was pretty basic and over-​priced based off if the end product.

Came here seeking out a decent sandwich for lunch with a coworker. Durso didn’t disappoint, the Italian Combo was awesome. The roll was clearly super fresh and they used super quality meat, I’ll be back for sure!

It’s time to finally tell you why I refuse to order from Durso ever again.
I give you one star (which is an abnormal rating amongst my near 200 reviews) for the cheap, money-​hungry way you run your business.
— Everything is overpriced, period. You markup bags of chips, etc. more than any place I can think of. A smoothie or juice is $ 7 and the only reason people will buy them from you is you are the ONLY option in this part of soma for fresh juice.
— You look for any way to make a quick buck. A small roll of bread that should accompany the soup is $ 1.
–You don’t know when to give something away as part of growing a business relationship. I charged a sandwich and cookie to my credit card but you missed the cookie. I was honest and mentioned it and instead of giving me the cookie for free, you insisted on ringing up my credit card a 2^nd time for a $ 2 cookie.
–You refused to honor my friend’s completely filled out loyalty card because you had «discontinued» the program
–You also can have an attitude with customers, which as I see from many reviews, holds true beyond just my experience.
I may really like your split pea soup, cookies, and have an affinity for fresh juice, but you’ll never see me again.
*As a side note, I’m in charge of deciding catering orders for 25+ meetings a year and I will continue to avoid ever using you. Maybe you should think about how what you do will affect your business over time.

Great sandwich. Had the ham, cheese and honey mustard, #7. It was fantastic. So sweet and delicious.

First thing that caught my eye was the 100 score on the health department food inspection grading. You can tell the folks running this place keep it in tip top shape.
I was pleased and can’t wait to return.

I went to D’urso yesterday for lunch and ordered the most boring item on their menu (mixed greens with chicken), so I went back today to try something else to give em a fair chance.
Both the salad and the meatball panini I tried were adequate, tasty-​enough lunches. A bit pricey for what you get. A salad item at other places in the area is made of local & organic greens with shaved cheese, currants, and fine cured meats. I felt like I could have just gone to the Safeway deli for the panini and it would have been $ 3 cheaper. Basically, you’re paying for customer service.
HOWEVER– their juice and smoothie bars are the saving graces. The best (okay, so the only) place in the area to grab a smoothie. Their very berry smoothie and house special juice are both divine.
*The juice comes out room temp/​warm, so you’ll need to stick it in the freezer at work for aprox. 45 mins. Kind of a bummer, so plan ahead.
