Dwell Painting

Great work, but now I am looking for them again I can’t find their number. Does anyone know how to reach them?

Brian and his crew were perfectionists. They painted our kitchen cabinets, walls, trim, and ceiling, and it was an amazing transformation. The old paint was so chipped and peeled that I thought the cabinets would never look like new, but they do! They also painting our exterior and deck, and we were pleased with those as well. They spend a lot of time on preparation, which is the most important.

I had Dwell Painting paint my house exterior a couple of years ago and I was very satisfied with the quality of the work. Recently I noticed that some of the paint had chipped off of the 90 year old window sill. A quick call to Brian and he as soon as he could to do the repairs. That proves to me that he stands by his work. That is one of the many reasons we have continued to rely on Dwell Built and Dwell Painting for projects that have come up.
Since having the exterior painted my wife and I have used Brian and Marco to paint interior rooms, remodel our Guest Bath and Lavatory, and install Limestone paving in the front of the house. All with high quality results.

Brian and his crew have painted our entire house inside and out over 3 projects. When we first bought our house, Dwell painted everything including cabinets, pocket doors, and old wood paneling. It transformed the house. A year later, he painted the front exterior and then the rear exterior. The best part about Brian is that he guarantees his work and has come back when asked to fix or touch-​up as necessary. We’ve recommend them to many of our friends and everyone has had good results. Projects are done on time, on budget, and they always leave the workspace very clean at the end of the day. Highly recommended.

When was the last time you heard someone give a positive rave over a contractor? Well, these guys deserve it! I’ve owned several homes, over the years, and I have never had the pleasure of a decent contractor, until I ran into Dwell.
I’ve known Brian and Marko since they first started their business, some years ago, and they have twice done an excellent job on the exterior shingles on my San Francisco home, but I never got around to doing a Unilocal review. This time, however, I called them to help prep my home for sale, and had a huge list of tasks that needed doing, including things like power washing, intricate interior painting, dry rot repair, wood refinishing, hardware replacement, and so forth. I never thought I’d find one company to do everything. .. but was delighted when they agreed to do the entire job. I am elated at what they’ve done.
The work is of the highest caliber and looks great. Beyond that, however, they have been such a pleasure to work with. They are professional, courteous, flexible, friendly and fastidious about clean-​up after the day’s work. The bid and invoice process was crisp, neat and accurate. The crew ALWAYS arrived exactly when they said they would and, the one time Brian himself was delayed by half an hour, he called to tell me he was on his way. And, unlike so many others I’ve worked with, they actually put in long hours — no disappearing at 3:00 pm — staying until the setting sun made it impossible to continue.
I’ve bought a new home in Palm Springs, and wish I could take these guys with me to do the renovations there. I’ll miss having them on my «call list.» Just great.

Many years ago, I solicited several bids to have the exterior of my Victorian home painted. Brian arrived dressed in a spotless painter’s suit, and without asking, removed his shoes before he entered our home. Talk about making a great first impression! Because his bid was competitive and he guaranteed his work, I hired him to do the job (my husband, who is an excellent read of people, also encouraged me to hire Brian, sensing that he was an ethical and hard-​worker.)
Since then, I’ve hired Brian to handle all of my interior, exterior, and deck staining work. Additionally, being in the real estate business, I am in a position to recommend Brian to my clients. Every single one of them has raved about his work so I continue to recommend him with confidence.
I’ve worked with many contractors throughout my years of home ownership and never have I been able to consistently recommend any of them. I’m happy to say that Brian is the fine exception to this rule.
