We started this business in order to help apartment building owners

and property managers keep their Fire Alarm Systems working and

ready for the day when a structure fire may endanger their tenants.

learning the trade, as well as 3 years as a fire alarm technician and installer.

I started Emergency Systems Maintenance in 1993, and have been

servicing Fire Alarm Systems from every manufacturer since then.

One of Eric’s workers came to our building unannounced. Apparently, he left a message which we never got. First of all, you don’t show up to our building thinking you can get access. There is a lot of crazy impersonators out there and we tell our tenants in advance when a contractor comes out to our building.
I complained to the owner about his worker and he called me to tell me that he has 900+ customers and needs a key to our building in order to service our alarm. I told him that I need communication. He needs to call until he reaches a person and gets permission to enter our building, not just show up. Apparently, he has so many customers that he doesn’t have to have good customer service.
He also explained to me that this work is required by the city. Can we have more security system companies because I hate this company?!?

Eric is an honest businessman. He came down to my store to look at my fire alarm, and after determining I needed specialized help for my system, charged me NOTHING for his time.

I find Eric Hagerman very professional, on top of his game and very responsive; never fails to respond to my calls within hrs and that to me speaks reliability.
I have used Eric to certify our Fire Alarm Systems at our three buildings since 1996.
He always calls us every year and keeps the Fire Dept. off our back. When we have
a false alarm he gets here the same day to fix it. I have recommended
Emergency Systems Inc. to other property management companies as well and never heard any of them having issues with him.

I am very happy with ESM’s service. I started using them when I obtained my first building in 1995 and I have been using them since. I also have them inspect and repair my other two buildings I purchased in 2003. It is a no hassle service, I gave them an entrance key and they take care of the inspection on a timely fashion and then let me know all is well.

He is reliable, professional, easy to get ahold of, and very friendly. He’s always kept our buildings in compliance with SF’s strict fire safety laws and his scheduling is impeccable.

I needed a new fire alarm panel for my 12 unit apartment building and called around and spoke to many contractors. Eric Hagerman answered the phone personally, gave me clear information about my situation over the phone and then made an appointment for an inspection of my system. He showed up on time and the inspection turned out to be no charge. He wrote up his recommendation and price for installation and for submitting the required paperwork. I accepted and he did the installation, on time and at the cost that was promised. Eric is very calm and doesn’t sell. He explains things in a very down to earth manner and made the whole process very pleasant and simple. Of course will use him for the required periodic future inspections.
I recommend him highly. He was excellent in every way.
