Dr. Engel has been so good to me over the years. I’ve seen him off and on for more than 7 years for various things. He has a very calming energy and is very down to earth. He’s performed sinus surgery on me twice and continues to be a very patient man. He practices out of two offices in SF which makes it quite convenient. If you’re searching for a skilled, knowledgeable ENT, Dr. Engel is the one so see!

Dr Engel is an excellent ENT specialist with great bedside manner. Recently, I brought my mother to him, for an appointment. The wait was short, he made her feel very comfortable and took care of her issue painlessly and quickly. Highly recommended!

Coworker: Aren’t you a little old to have your tonsils taken out?
Me: No retard I’m not!

Coworker: Why do you need to have them taken out now, shouldn’t you have had them taken when you were a kid?
Me: Listen Dr. Jack Kevorkian (death doctor) when did you become a know it all? And if you really want to know why I’m having them taken out… it’s strictly because of cosmetic reasons. I’m trying to make room for my hubby’s anatomy 8— With that said, my coworker gave me a strange look and walked away:) I had said it in front of other co-​workers, which appreciated my strange humor and chimed in on the laughter. LOL
Enough said, now about the doctor. He is an excellent ENT specialist that walks around with a funny band around his head and a big circle light on his forehead. Reminds me of something you would see on Laurel & Hardy. I had my daughter’s tonsils taken out by him and then it was my turn. He’s very knowledgeable and very thorough. He takes the time to explain things out to you like you were a two year old. He comes highly recommended by me.
