Bodywork: Gentle, powerful, nurturing hands-​on work that supports integration and healing/​wellness combining Ortho-​bionomy™ and subtle energy techniques.

Gordon Crespo writes in the examiner: What is Ortho-​Bionomy? It is gentle, non-​invasive, osteopathically-​based form of body therapy that is supplemental or an alternative to chiropractic, acupuncture, or physical therapy. Ortho-​Bionomy helps to alleviate symptoms associated with chronic stress, anxiety, injuries, and pains associated with postural or structural imbalances. It was developed by Dr. Arthur Pauls who wanted to develop a form of treatment that worked with the bodies innate self-​healing abilities. For instance, instead of trying to ‘push’ and mis-​aligned joint into place an Ortho-​Bionomy practitioner would instead gently push the joint in the same direction of the mis-​alignment. This stimulates the body’s self-​correcting and self balancing reflexes by way of the innate reflexes located in our joints and muscles. In other words, it honors the fact the body, if properly\treated, can essentially fix itself.

Spiritual Direction: Developmental, reflective, exploration that open awareness and enhances the ability to be present, making authentic, positive responses and action more available.

History

Established in 2012.

Bodywork: The ease and power of Ortho-​bionomy™ drew me to begin practicing it in the late 90s. In the 2000s I began studying and practicing forms of subtle energy bodywork and exploration of consciousness (Reiki, Flow Alignment and Connection™, Awakening Your Light Body, and Physical Atomic Cellular Evolution). I offer clients an integration of these different modalities that addresses the physical and more.

Spiritual Direction: I have been involved in developmental work focusing on living in authentically fulfilling ways for over 15 years. I was ordained as a non-​denominational minister in 2005 and in 2009 I trained supervision for helping professionals (what is often called consultation here in the US). Using this background and the skills gained there I offer a practice of reflective engagement to appreciatively look into the actuality of what is in one’s life – to open and untangle, get clarity and gain peace with circumstances and situations, to open to more flow and ease.

I am a bodyworker, energyworker, spiritual director and explorer of consciousness. I am an ordained, non-​denominational minister, have a Master of Divinity degree from Gauden University, and have been studying metaphysics and energy work for over 20 years and integrative, developmental inquiry and communication work for over 15. I practice Ortho-​Bionomy® as well as several forms of subtle-​energy bodywork and exploration of consciousness work including Reiki, Building the Golden Body™, Awakening Your Light Body, Flow Alignment and Connection™, and Physical Atomic Cellular Evolution. I am a teacher of Awakening Your Light Body and a Reiki master. I am a member of Spiritual Directors International and Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals and have completed the Center for Supervision and Team Development’s certification in supervision.
