I ordered a pepper jack roast beef sandwich on a soft roll with everything on it except mustard. The guy at the deli made it in about 5 minutes. The drink prices are upscale comparable to ones at other well kept trendy specialty groceries. I sat outside in the shared space with Pete’s Coffee customers. It was mundane, and it made me miss Falletti’s colorful interior.
The sandwich was good. Fresh ingredients. The peppers add a punch to the pepper jack roast beef classic. Not a bad combo at all. The bread was cold though. Next time I would ask if they had warm bread and fewer peppers.

The butcher shop at Falleti’s is totally lame. Bought a couple pounds of lamb, asked the butcher if she can cut into cubes for a stew. Wow, major attitude, she was worried that she may cut her fingers and I was thinking get another line of business. BTW no customers were around, thats why i asked. I usually go to Guerra’s on Taraval or Cal Mart butcher on Calif. if they are not busy they will go out of there way for you.

Awesome workers and excellent meat and deli counters! Just pre-​ordered heritage turkey from Diestel farm. Simple and clear transaction. They also carry duck leg confit, pork belly, cold meats from Boar’s head…

Great selection of everything you could want. Staff is super friendly! Prices on some things are a little higher, but no different than going to the corner store for some mayo. Would recommend highly!

Love the variety in wine and cheese. The hot and cold deli is beyond fantastic. Produce is fresh and the store is clean and well maintained.

I credit the lack of savings in my bank account for the last two years to the prices at this place! It’s super convenient but I have to swear it off! On the plus side it makes other nicer options (while foods, haight street market, bi rite, the farmers market in NOPA) which are also very pricey seem attainable and reasonable given the significantly higher quality! Poor produce section with very little if anything sourced from California even during peak season.
Three stars for the handmade sausage which is aaaahhhhmazing, priced reasonably and better than the handmade options at the aforementioned grocers.

For some reason I can’t even begin to put my finger on, people would always cut in line in front of me at Falletti. I would be standing there with my items, under the big sign that says, Line Starts Here, the next person in line, as it were. And then someone would do one of two things:
1) Appear from the opposite side of the candy island that separates the wine section from the main aisle and step in front of me blithely, often while talking on a cell phone.
2) Appear from the cooler case aisles to the right of the main aisle, and head straight toward the checkout as if they were the only person in the store.
I’m generally a cool customer, so I kept my cool. No use in escalating a minor situation, right? But this started to happen so often that I eventually called someone on it. The cashiers didn’t seem to be doing anything about it. Maybe I was invisible again. That sometimes happens.
«Hey, am I invisible?», I asked the young woman standing in front of me.
She wrinkled her nose at me. «What?»
“I was standing here.”, I said. «Before you came spinning backwards out of the dairy aisle and then acted like I didn’t exist. I was in line.»
«Actually,» she said, «I was in line all this time. I only stepped out to get one more thing.» And with that, she walked over and set her beef jerky, aloe juice, and pure beeswax lip balm down on the counter haughtily. I stood there feeling used. Another cashier became available. He called me over with a half-​hearted wave. He asked me if I found everything ok, and I considered releasing my complaint on him. But the guy wouldn’t look at me. He just sort of rolled his eyes, with an expression that said, Look at this loser. I can’t believe he let that beef jerky girl cut in line in front of him. So I kept my complaint to myself. Except for now, as I complain to everyone but the store. Social media wounds all heels, eh, Falletti?

I’ve been a regular shopper at faletti for years and even after I moved out of the neighborhood, I’ll still come here to shop now and then because I want to support local businesses. The other day I was parked in their lot while having lunch at nopalito. Someone broke my car window and stole my tote from the front seat with my laptop inside. I know I shouldn’t have left it there but people make mistakes…
When my friend and I notified then of what happened, they said it happened a lot. I was surprised by that. If this is the case, why not put a more noticeable sign warning people? Or have a security guard patrol the area?
Dealing with the faletti employees to get information on the suspects has been completely useless. The surveillance cameras they have were unable to capture the license plate of the car that the criminals arrived in. I’m sorry but what is the point of having cameras that cannot capture a license plate in a parking lot? Why not invest in a better camera for the safety of your customers? Also the way they delivered all this information to me was callous and patronizing. Given the fact that it happened in their parking lot, they were rude, detached, and totally unsympathetic. Both of the employees I spoke to seemed annoyed by the affair, and as a result I will never shop with them again.
I really hate it when businesses become cold and detached to avoid responsibility. Faletti prides itself on its neighborhood vibe but be clear on this — they don’t care about the community. A sympathetic tone was all that I expected from a store I have shopped with for five years. I wasn’t asking them to reimburse me or do anything but try to help me and the police with some suspect information. But they couldn’t do even the simple and decent thing. Major disappointment.

Packet play.
As straightforward as you can get: Scrambled eggs (whites only not an option), tomato, onions and turkey. Choice of bread. Such as a () muffin or (x) whole wheat. All for $ 4.99 + tax.
Yet there is no jam. Or bottled ketchup. That’s when the friendly person making my breakfast sandwich opened up two ketchup packets and applied them herself.

Here’s Falletti in a nutshell:
Picture Whole Foods or Bi-​Rite. Now make most the food non-​organic and significantly worse. OK. Now, raise the prices 30% and completely take away the ambience. You have successfully created Falletti.

This is my neighborhood grocery store and its as expensive as heck but convenient. Generally, I have fairly good experiences at Falleti. One time the very high sandwich guy who spent 30 minutes burning my sandwich because he forgot about it… Luckily I wasn’t in a rush so no big deal. However, today’s experience is worth a review. At Falleti there is a bizarre line that starts in the isle and is easily missed if you have not visited before. My mom didn’t see the line and went to stand behind someone checking out. A larger white man, turned out to be one of the managers, very rudely said «ladies are you planning to cut in front of all these people» very loudly in front of the whole line. My mother, being from a Nebraska and small town, was HUMILIATED. I am very disappointed as to how they treated her.

I came to Falletti on a Sunday morning, my parents dragged me here. Judging on how my parents have a completely different taste of food than me I did not know what they sold here. They have a really good choice of what I believe are organic groceries and a stellar hot foods section. You can choose your food and by weight is what you pay. They have tasty eggs and chicken for breakfast. I was surprised that their banana french toast would be so good. Also, they have Humphrey Slocombe Ice cream, which is always great! There is a parking lot in front of the entrance too. If you’re looking for a good breakfast spot where it’s self serve, this is the only one I know of in the area and it’s really good.

Fairly convinced i just bought the two best plums of my life. Perfectly ripe, big and juicy. Sweet as sugar too. I am so sorry i did not buy more. It is clear these guys know produce. Recommend.

On certain days during the week… the deli serves a delicious tri tip sandwich with horseradish along with a quarter pint of bean, potato, or macaroni salad. I opt out of the horseradish and get regular mustard. all this for 6.99! what a great deal that is. I live close by so i tend to go into the store quite often. They have a British candy section with a collection of rare candy bars i’ve never heard about until now. A friend was visiting from guam and introduced me to the CRUNCHIE candy bar. I brought it to work one day and my co-​worker from ireland was shocked to see this candy bar. The store is a little pricey overall… If you are looking for fancy cheeses doing some gourmet cooking and are unable to drive or walk to whole foods … Fallettis is a good place to go. Friendly staff

Great store.
They have so many of my favorites: Mulino Bianco’s Baiocchi, Marmite, Kinder Bueno.
Also a great store to get your cheese fix, good bread, organic veggies, and a wide selection of delicious ready made food.
Staff is always very nice and helpful, and despite its popularity, you never have to wait too long in line.

Really? People shop here? I had no idea anything could be more expensive than my beloved Whole Foods. I grabbed a cart on the way in and immediately went to reluctantly grab a Silk almond milk since thats one of two brands they carried. Over $ 5 for a half gallon of SILK, not even fresh almond milk made by the store! Next few aisles, $ 6 for a box of Cap’n Crunch, which isn’t any kind of specialty or delicacy. Guess how much for Tropicana? Yup, again, over $ 5. I must have missed the gourmet section of the store because I was so in awe at these prices for basic items. The dry pasta was over a dollar more than Whole Foods. I finally stopped over in the produce section before I finally walked out and it seemed fairly priced as long as you didn’t pick up anything that was in any kind of container. I probably won’t be back. I think they ought to stick to gourmet items and ditch the $ 3+ jars of Jif peanut butter and $ 2 packs of gum.

Pricier than Whole Foods.
Great and extensive hot foods section.
Nearly $ 7 for what seems like 3 ounces of macaroni and cheese and meatloaf. My son needed something to eat and I refused to resort to fast food.
Can’t put a price tag on quality.

I really like this grocery/​supermarket store! There is a lot of gluten free options.
They have a great Asian food section with sriracha sauces, sambal, you name it!
The staff are super friendly and very helpful, with one staff even going to the effort of writing down and reordering a product that they had stocked and ran out.
It is on the pricier side of things but you pay for quality right? :)

***Falletti Foods is a perfect grocery store if you are looking to do a gourmet dinner or are entertaining for the night; they have a wide variety of good cheeses as well as great garnishes and accouterments (nice pates too); this grocery store also features great organic products including ice cream, snacks, sweets, fruits, vegetables, and even deodorant; Falletti is also big enough to be an all-​purpose grocery store (albeit a pricey one) since it sells all kinds of dry staples, dairy, alcohol, fresh fish, poultry (including boneless turkey breast), grass fed beef, and a great selection of both pork and lamb (many different cuts including several cuts that can be roasted for a big dinner party); this grocery store also features a wide variety of to-​go meals and even a bakery on-​site***
Falletti Foods is part of a retail plaza that has its own free parking lot (including a covered part). There are not many parking spaces though and several of them are tight.
