A wonderful addition to the usual fare in Central Richmond.

Well, I’m impressed. I hate to generalize but, normally in this part of town you don’t find too many gems… until now. Conceptually, Fiorella is a great little spot that perfectly executes everything they do. From the interior design, to the food itself, it’s a home run. Wanting to try something new and outside of our normal neighborhood jams, I made a reservation for my sister’s birthday with ease. The first thing you’ll notice is the insanely amazing wallpaper. Seriously, it’s badass and complete with all your favorite bay area legends: Joe Montana, E-40, etc.(see photo). The wine list is focused, tight and you’re not going to break the bank. Props there too. On to the food… We ordered a bunch of different pizzas: the New Haven, the White Clam, the Neapolitan, the Mushroom/Rosemary and they were all fantastic in their own right. The highlights for me were the White Clam and the New Haven. So… order those :) The best part of the pizza was definitely the crust. It was perfectly crispy and burnt from the wood fired oven and some of the best crust I’ve had in San Francisco. We also had a couple of the starters(fava bean burrata, and eggplant toasts) which were both awesome. Moral of the story… Don’t hold back, order a ton of items and go HAM. It’s a great spot to do family style and share away!

Fiorella is a really cute neighborhood pizza place. The wallpaper and menu feature hand-drawn designs of famous locals and quintessentially San Franciscan Victorians. The 2 of us shared an appetizer, a pizza, and a pasta, which we felt was the perfect amount of food to satisfy but not stuff. * Green garlic agrodolce with sheep’s milk ricotta, marinated raisins, pine nuts — $ 8 The S.O. chose this. I wouldn’t have picked it. Very sweet. The raisins were huge. Not really my thing. * Clam pie — $ 18 Yum! Nice chewy crust. Good seasoning. Right amount of brininess. * Garganelli with beef + pork ragu — $ 17 Perfectly cooked pasta. The sauce was very tasty, and I loved how bits of meat clung to the garganelli. The wine pours are generous. You get a 8oz carafe rather than a glass.

Everything about this place is Amazing! Came for their new Sunday Brunch and WOW what a treat! Smoked fish platter was out of this world! Sheep milk and honey crostini like nothing I’ve ever tasted! Took my palette on a new flavor journey. Well crafted espresso drinks Three words… Polenta French toast! Nuff said :) You can tell that they take pride in the quality of the ingredients and the entire dining experience! I will be back… Oh yes… I will be back…

My dad and I tried Fiorella recently and liked our meals and I especially loved the interior situation. Any Bay Area native will get a kick out of the design of the wallpaper and appreciate it while having some delicious Italian food. Here’s what we tried: The chicken liver toscana crositini, the Italian Combo crostini, the white pizza with ricotta, fior di latte, and garlic, and I had to try the cacio e pepe, which was done nicely, but I’m a bit biased since I haven’t found a true Roman cacio e pepe outside of Rome. I think Fiorella is such a lovely addition to the neighborhood! Definitely family friendly but also a good date night spot with the tables in the back — great service and I love that it feels like it’s family run. Will totally go back next time I’m in the Richmond!

Came here on a Sunday afternoon for a quick bite, and it was pretty tasty! The décor in this place is very cool and modern, all tied together with bay area themed wall paper! We were promptly seated, and our server was very friendly and attentive. He told us that they encourage family style eating, so we decided to share a couple of dishes. We ended up ordering the Spicy Salami pie and the Garganelli with Ragu. Both were delicious– the pizza crust was thin with good chew, and the house made crushed chilis de arbol were great on it! The ragu was also very meaty and delicious. We enjoyed the food a lot, but the only criticism we had was that the ragu portion size was kind of small for what we paid for it. Because of that, I probably wouldn’t recommend ordering the pasta here, but I would definitely come back for the pizza!

I’ve only been here for brunch a few times but the dinner menu looks delicious. The atmosphere feels upscale with affordable prices — great food, drinks, and décor. Recommend: — Spritzer(prosecco, cappaleti, orange) — White peach bellini — Sheep’s milk ricotta bread(honey, mint, and bee pollen) — Polenta with fried egg(braised greens & parmigiano) — Little gem & kale salad(asparagus, avocado, radish, scallions, and pistachios w/creamy Italian dressing) — All pizzas! So good — a must try!

This spot is a really nice addition to the Richmond. It’s fancy enough to go on a date, but casual enough for friends as well. The wall paper is dope, a montage of Bay Area icons from port of Oakland cranes to e-40. The staff was up to par and the atmosphere was light and clean. It’s nice to see a crowd of richmondites going out for some swank and class. Something the outer rich typically doesn’t have. Order chicken liver crostini, spicy pizza pie and the cacio e pepe. Of the three the crostini was my favorite, the pizza was good but be warned its actually pretty spicy, coming from someone who can finish a bottle of sriracha in a month. Really enjoyed my first visit here, and really excited to try the rest of the menu. Support the Richmond!

The first time I visited here the food and service were both good. Nothing to brag about but a different and good option for the neighborhood. The second time, however, ensures that I won’t be back. I walked in with my roommate and was told by the person at the stand it would be about 20 minutes. When I asked about all the open tables(which must have been about half of the restaurant) the hostess said those tables were reserved. I didn’t feel like waiting. I muttered something like«that’s dumb» and we headed for the door. Then the hostess says«Instead of rolling your eyes at me you can make a reservation. We’re on Open Table.» This girl obviously needs a little more training in the service industry. So while you may be new and different, Fiorella, with an attitude like that, you aren’t worth my time or money.

I just did notttttt like this pizza. I consider pizza part of my daily diet and I’ve never met a pizza I didn’t like. Something was just off here. The sauce? The crust? I don’t know. But it wasn’t good. I tried the Margherita pizza and white pizza and both were equally bad. The white pie was so bland that I put sriracha on it to give it life! Sticking to the prosciutto pie at Delfina.

I didn’t care too much for their pizza. That makes me really sad because I had high hopes. The spicy salami pizza wasn’t spicy at all, and the clam pie was BLAND! Although it had tons of clams, it also had a lot of shell fragments. We were given lemons for the clam pie but honestly it needed more garlic and tons of salt or something. The gargenlli with ragu was delicious because the ragu was really really good. The winner of the night was the pasta and the wallpaper.

I don’t really like pizza, it’s not something I crave, so ignore me on the pizza review. Hear me out on the other two items we ordered. Arrived on a Tuesday night at around 7pm and had to wait about 10 minutes for a table because their other 4 empty tables were reserved. I always find that odd… Make the guests who are already physically there wait while the tables stay empty… Cool! Anywho, service was great, our waitress was knowledgeable about the items on the menu and she checked back on uggs after every dish. We ordered the Alamo, Suppli al Telephono and Cacio e pepe. I’ll skip the review on the Alamo since it’s going to be biased(I didn’t care for out and a few parts of the crusts were burnt). The Suppli al Telephono($ 10) came in 4 pieces. It’s mozzarella cheese rolled in rice and something else deep fried; comes with a red sauce. This was my fave. It was crispy, it was cheesy, it was bite size. The Cacio e pepe($ 14) is a spaghetti size hollow pasta tossed in olive oil, butter and black pepper. It’s so simple but also really tasty. The flavors were well balanced. My only gripe is the portion size. I don’t eat a lot but I could have early finished this myself and a slice of pizza. You also have to eat it hot or the butter will harden and each bite will literally taste like a bite of butter. With that said, not sure I’ll go back anytime soon. Can’t really find a way to justify paying this price in this part of town. Oh and like most reviews said, it’s super loud in the restaurant even at half full. I found myself having to yell across the table during most of the meal.

Finally, a cozy yet trendy Italian restaurant in the Richmond. I am very impressed with the dedication to detail throughout the restaurant. Sitting at any table you can find wonderful hints of San Francisco and a view of the beautiful tiled pizza oven. The attention to detail is also seen in the menu selection. The pizza selection is unique but also has staples like margarita and offers a great selection of local beers and wines. I highly recommend!

Lately I’ve been on a pizza feen and having had pizza already 3 times this week, whats one more. I like very simple, low ingredient pizzas and this was the newest joint to hit my hood so I had to try it. Chicken Liver Toscana– two huge pieces of bread topped with a heaping amount of chicken liver. Me and chicken liver go way back to my childhood days, coming home from school and watching Daddy prepare this as we sat around the kitchen table, *the feelz* The chicken liver was perfect; not salty at all. White Pie– The pizza was decent. It could’ve used more garlic. I liked the hint of salt that hits you out of nowhere. Service was great. I sat right in front of the kitchen where I got to see all the action. And by action, I mean, the cooking, the yelling, the mistakes, the disagreements, the compliments. Working in a kitchen can be stressful but kudos to these guys for handling everything, in front of guests, with ease.

A trendy new Italian place in the Richmond District? Yes please! Let’s start off with a very quick fact: they have the best wall décor of all time. Quote me on this: ALLTIME! It’s a montage of everything that is relevant to the city of San Francisco(and even Oakland). It includes Bay Area rappers, landmarks, the Bart sign, etc. I can go on and on. It’s worth coming here just to see the actual walls. My first impression walking in was incredible. The vibe is very welcoming and the staff were attentive, striking a conversation with me as soon as they saw me. The great part about this place is that they take reservations and also deliver! Deliver you ask? Yeah! It’s pretty amazing if you ask me. Typically a new trendy place like this that’s growing in popularity would never take reservations or consider delivery, as it’s a risky business move, but it’s pretty fantastic. On to the food itself! I ordered the Suppli al Telephono(it’s basically like a rice ball with melted mozzarella, and the order comes with five of them), followed by the Spicy Salami Pie as the main entrée. I think the appetizer was the surprise hit of the day. I never had anything like it and thought it was very unique in terms of flavor. The pizza was definitely good, but I was surprised how long it took them to make. I’m sure it was just an outlier, but I had to wait about 25 minutes. On the the other hand, though I waited a while for my pizza, the server was very sweet, letting me know when the food will be arriving. Also, she gave me extra wine so I was feeling relaxed and in a good mood– no big deal. Quick tip: two glasses of wine here are more than a full bottle, so you’re actually saving money ordering that for two people(for $ 20) over a bottle(for $ 30 at least). I also found out on their menu that brunch will be coming soon to their store. I’m pretty confident that will be a huge hit too. They have definitely nailed it when it comes to planning. Final verdict: Fiorella brings an enjoyable and fun vibe to the Richmond District. It’s a trendy place with a cozy feeling, which makes it a perfect spot for a date night. The food is spot on, though depending on how many people are there, it may get busy and the wait times could be lengthy. Make sure you make a reservation ahead of time. Either way, a spot that should be on your radar.

While talking to staff i learned the owner grew up in the richmond district and also owns Uva Enoteca. Not so surprised after tasting the wood fired pizza. Crust is amazing! Light and excellent bread. We shared the Alamo and though the price tag hurts a little, the mushrooms and entire pie makeup for it. Just coming back from a trip to Rome, i can’t help but jjudge the Cacio e Pepe hard and found myself desiring for something more. Okay. but the pizza was the star. I love our long time family favorite Italian and pizza focused restaurants like Gaspare’s or Georgio’s. But i like Fiorella equally and for other reasons. Entirely different experience and food. I’m SO happy they have popped up on Clement. Sure, we’ve had Pizzette 411 for a while now but Fiorella’s sleek black interior and awesome wall paper of famed bay area locals(from E-40 to Joe Montana to Alice Waters) brings a mature yet family friendly and overall refreshing vibe to the Richmond district.

Solid 3.5 stars. With its good/nearly comparable pizzas to nearby P211 and no wait(takes reservations, easily thru opentable), it’s a good P21(I love P211, but honestly, I don’t like to wait… that much yanno?) alternative and Italian restaurant in the neighborhood. Agree with fellow Unilocaler that this place reminds me of A16 in the Marina, but it’s smaller and a bit more casual. FOOD– the two of us shared a chicken liver Toscana $ 8(2pcs) and a clam pie(pizza) $ 18. Chicken liver Toscana came in large pieces loaded up with chicken liver, I thought it was a lot! It was tasty, but quite salty, washed down nicely with some wine. Clam pizza was cooked in wood fired, delicious, crust was thin with a hint of saltiness and enough chewiness. DECOR/AMBIANCE– clean and modern looking. Restaurant space is deep, you can see their very cool looking pizza oven from most seats. Some tables next to the windows facing the street, which have a nice view of the neighborhood. Dimly lit and voices echo in the restaurant. Probably not a good place to take a date if intention is for a more quiet setting where occasional yelling and repeating what was said is undesired. The waitress was sooo patient with us Bc we were eating super slow due to non-stop talking(a lot to vent about my crazy neighbor haha). She came by a few times to check on us, but we made no progress. Ooops, she didn’t seem bothered though. We almost stayed until they closed up, and noticed how quiet the restaurant finally became when there were less people in there. Noise level was quite high when restaurant was nearly full at 8−9pm, I had to raise my voice and at times yell across the table to get heard. But we didn’t mind it. Same owner as Uva Enoteca, but I enjoyed my meal here more. Overall a pleasant experience and I would come back to try their pastas and other pizzas. Wished they had wines other than from Italy.

Got the white pie, a pasta dish, a glass of wine, and a lemon dessert. Everything was delicious! Great service– super friendly. It was crowded even at 8:45pm so make sure to get a reservation.

5 strong stars– welcome to the ‘Hood, Fiorella. In a most complimentary way, I would call it ‘A-16 Junior’(Or A-16 of the Richmond…) — less pricey, less formal, and a similar but smaller menu. Great food top to bottom. We enjoyed their arugula salad, a delicious pizza(margherita and a spicy salami?), great pasta(garganelli), and even their stellar chocolate budino– which happens to be one of A-16s signature items. We loved everything but the highlight was indeed the pizza– great toppings & featuring a delicious, wood-fired, lightly charred crust– reminiscent of the style you would find at… ahem…A-16, Flour+Water, Tony’s, and others. The crust is executed perfectly– and there are 6 – 8 variations of pizza to try. With apologies to the great Pizetta 211 nearby, a new Richmond District pizza champion has been crowned… and quickly. I’ll be back often. PS– I would go just to stare at the greatest wallpaper in the history of the Earth, the 5-star food/service and experience is just a bonus :-)

I am beyond stoked that Fiorella has opened in sleepy lil’ Central Richmond. We do have Pizzetta 211, but it is very cramped and can you blame me if I’m still a little salty about the èpoisses fiasco of 2015? We dined with 5pm dinner reservations and were seated at a nice two-top near the window. The bar seating gives a nice view of that gorgeous pizza oven and the chefs working their magic — will have to request that next time! Service was prompt and professional. We kept it simple this visit and ordered: –margherita pizza — very tasty. Not too much sauce or cheese. The crust is thin, but not too chewy and has that nice char from the oven. Not as crispy as P211, but I enjoyed the char better here. Similar to Del Popolo but less chewy. Only con? It is sliced into 4 huge pieces. 6 pieces is easier to eat and share! — suppli al telephono — OMG please do yourself a favor and get these tasty little morsels. Crisp aranchini(fried risotto balls) filled with creamy mozzarella, sitting in a spoonful of thick, zesty tomato sauce and dusted with shavings of fresh Parmesan. –glass of 2014 verm chardonnay — most buttery and delicious glasses of chardonnay I’ve had in awhile. BF had the Headlands Pilsner and we both enjoyed it. All in all, a solid first go-round. I’d love to try some of their specialty pies the next time we come(which is soon!). Excited to eat more and update you on my next visit! Welcome to the neighborhood, Fiorella!
