Fiori Flowers

This florist should merit 5 stars; the flower selection (while sometimes limited) is always tasteful, and the store itself is very inviting; pretty and charming.
I shop here from time to time, and wish I could give the place a higher rating. So what’s the problem? First, the prices. Fiori consistently charges way more for the exact same flowers than other neighborhood florists. Example: yesterday, a small bunch of tulips at Fiori was going for $ 20. The same bunch of tulips were available for $ 15 at the Bud Stop on Union.
Although the flowers are definitely overpriced, that alone would not be the reason for my 2 star rating. The bigger reason is the terrible customer service. Specifically, the terribly RUDE owner. She just naturally exudes a condescending nastiness. Her young employees are generally very nice, but the owner’s attitude hangs over the whole place and contaminates everything. That’s the main reason I only shop here when I can’t go anywhere else.
If you want beautiful flowers at a fair (though not inexpensive) price, I highly recommend the Bud Stop at the corner of Union and Fillmore. Great selection, wonderfully friendly service, and they can put together absolutely lovely bouquets that rival anything you can get at Fiori… minus the attitude.

I frequent (or now, frequented) this flower shop a lot (despite the rude owner and ridiculous prices) due to convenience and I’ve only had a pleasant experience a handful of times.
On previous occasions the people working in there just weren’t helpful, didn’t pay attention and complained about being hungover. Yesterday was the last straw — she has lost my business for good.
I went in to request a very simple flower crown for my halloween costume at around 2 pm. The younger gal who worked there was very nice said she’d be happy to help out. We started looking at some flower options when the owner literally stood between us, butted into our conversation and started saying to the girl helping «no, no, no we can’t help… you won’t have time to work on that today it takes too long and I charge A LOT!» I told her I was looking for something simple, perhaps even a few buds I could take home and arrange in my hair myself and asked her what she would charge for something like that — her response: «A LOT! it’s really not an option…» and went on and on about how long it takes. I literally turned around and walked out while she was mid conversation because I was so shocked by how rude she was.
A piece of advice to the owner — when it comes to providing customer service, always HELP FIND A SOLUTION. I wasn’t asking for an effing miracle. Your response was rude and quite frankly, dramatic.
I have a great florist downtown that will always be worth the trek after multiple bad experiences at this one.

Horrible customer service! If I could give negative stars i would. This past week my daughter was so excited to order a boutonnière for her date to her senior prom. She was treated so poorly that she came home in tears. The woman behind the counter did not even pay attention to what my daughter was requesting. She had her back to my daughter the entire time and didn’t even acknowledge her. She was rude and condescending. Way to go Fiori Flowers, you ruined what was suppose to be a special time for my daughter.

I wish I could give a good review. I’ve lived in the Marina for 25 years and have purchased from Fiori a number of times. It’s a nice looking shop.
My experience is that flowers purchased there generally don’t last more than five days. This has been consistent over the years. I go back once and awhile and this experience is repeated. I also feel their prices are high.
I use another florist, and the flowers generally last 10 days or longer, and I get a lot more, and higher end flowers for my dollar.

Giving up. They have beautiful flowers and I used to be a regular customer, but for the second time they have shown that they don’t give a damn about people. This morning I snuck out early to surprise my wife with flowers for her birthday. I checked the hours and they would be open at 8 AM, in 5 min. Perfect. When I got there at 8:17 they were not open. I waited longer. I called and left a message saying I was outside and since nobody was there, told them I’d like to order (I saw what I wanted in the window) so to please call me back. No call. Then I realized this is the second time I visited then in the AM during their stated operating hours but they were not there, and no note. Too bad. They do have nice flowers but I’m going to support somebody who cares. I understand things happen in life but no follow up call? Wow.

Sadly I am giving a 3 star review. My husband buys me flowers from here and I agree with everyone that it is pricey! They have a wonderful selection of flowers but my problem is that every time we bring them home, the flowers just don’t last that long. I know cut flowers don’t have a long shelf life, but from the price we are paying, I expect them to last at least 4 – 5 days. Previously we paid a fortune for an orchid and that lasted 2 weeks. I’ve had other orchids that have lasted 2 months or more! The latest batch of dahlias lasted 3 days and already on day 3, you could tell it was about over. Le sigh.

while on vacation we stayed in the marina district and decided to go for a walk to check out the small shops on chestnut. as we were walking i fell in LOVE with their beautiful selection of sunflowers! we didnt exactly have the time to look in the shop so we came back on our last day and browsed a bit more. Such a warm, inviting little spot. the lady that was there (didnt catch her name) has been working at the shop for one year but in the floral business for over ten years!
like i said earlier, i fell in love with the sunflowers and bought an additional single stem rose for my mother in law, we also got a discount because the rose was in full bloom! great customer service!

Stopped by on a whim and picked up potted hydrangeas in bloom. I know I will be back. I noticed an array of extra large fresh roses, daisies, as well as a collection of unique dahlias. The shop itself isn’t much to look at, but the customer service and talent is impressive.

I was compelled to let others know about the horrible attitude the woman behind the counter had. I normally don’t like to write negative reviews but this was unbelievable. She was in the middle of making an arrangement (a $ 75 one) and I told her I loved the bouquet and wanted to spend about $ 30-​$ 40 and she scoffed. Well this flower costs $ 10, and the vase is $ 10 and the delivery charge (for a 3 block delivery mind you) was another $ 9. When I told her I wanted to pick what flowers when into the bouquet she said «Well I normally don’t do this». She also said she normally doesn’t have the time to go here and there around the shop picking out flowers on the spot. I mean every answer was as if I should feel privileged that she is helping me. I mean don’t you work here??? I wanted to walk out several times, but due to time constraints and simply convenience, I just stuck with it. Ended up spending $ 60 on a bouquet that had literally 6 flowers. I will never go back there and in hindsight, I should have never given her my business.

Who doesn’t love being surrounded by flowers?! You come here and you are surrounded by beauty. Even if you don’t buy anything you feel like you are in an ethereal place. I love it when they carry their giant sunflowers here… it makes me smile.

Fiori provided the flowers for our recent wedding.
We were nervous during the planning phase because they seemed to have trouble with the budget, didn’t get back to us as fast as we’d like, and generally seemed a bit disorganized.
But the final product was perfect, just what we wanted or better. Also on time and on budget.

$ 2.50 gerbera stem daisies, it doesn’t get too much better than that.

The flowers are certainly upscale in quality and in price. Nevertheless the unfriendly staff needs to know that rudeness turns away customers. I was browsing today while a woman was arranging flowers on the counter behind the cash register. Although she saw me, she did not acknowledge my presence in any way, I kept making positive comments regarding the stock to try to get her attention. Nothing. Poor soul was either deaf and dumb or simply cluelessly rude. After about five minutes I said, «Well, lady, I guess I’m invisible» to which she started jabbering as I left in search of another flower shop that carried Chinese tree peonies. Found it on Union. Don’t bother with this place. People like that need to go back to Cleveland.

This shop is so cute, and I purchased a beautiful flower here today. It was the customer service that turned me off however and makes me torn whether to come here again or not.
We asked how much the flower we were looking to purchase was. We were told $ 6.50, and then were charged $ 7.50. It may only be a dollar, but when we asked why we weren’t charged the price she had given us, we were given a tough luck attitude. She said that is just how much it costs. She could have at least appologized for her mistake, or offered a dollar back. A little gesture can go a long way.

Without a doubt the flowers are high quality and the shop is lovely. I took my straight guy friend in there and he told me the store reminded him of a flower shop in France (yes, he’s definitely straight). Bright colors and fresh flowers everywhere!
What I’m not sure about — is $ 13.50 for one peony highway robbery, even for Chestnut Street?!
I will say this — the two peonies I bought are bigger than any other ones I have seen around and have lasted almost a week already now… but still $ 13.50? It just seems like a lot of money. To be fair, other flowers were more in line with what I thought they would be.
Sigh…Needless to say, I bought a sunflower, orchids, and peonies all on that one trip to spice up the house for my guests and am enjoying them VERY much.
At the very least stop in and check out the flowers. You can decide if they are worth the price.

I bought a beautiful small arrangement on Saturday for my one-​year old who loves to smell flowers right now. I was very disappointed when the hydrangea began to wilt that same day. The next day the 3 wonderful smelling roses had also died. The flowers were very pretty, but very dead within 2 days. My guess is that they do not get deliveries on Saturday — but no one told me that!
I called when I had some time Monday morning (2 days later) to explain what happened. I thought for sure they would be surprised at the quality and would ask me to return to get a new arrangement. Nope. There was nothing the owner was willing to do. Maybe they could have done something if I had brought the flowers back within 24 hours. I explained that was difficult with a one-​year old… Anyway, this leaves me a very disappointed customer and I would certainly not recommend a florist with this quality of customer service to anyone.

Here you’ll find breathtaking flowers housed in an attractive, inviting space in the Marina.
Fiori flowers is very much on the pricey side, but you definitely get what you pay for here. The flowers appeared to be the cream of the crop, with a great selection of unique flowers, ivy-​laced planters, and much more.
Get the rununculas– they’re gorgeous!

Was very happy to find a great selection of high quality flowers and plants to choose from when I jumped out of the car to find a quick hostess gift. Really friendly staff — so friendly the owner (I think) let me take the amarallyis pot she had set aside for herself! Great prices and beautiful flowers — I’ll be back!

The service and selection at Fiori’s is great. I was traveling from Thursday through Sunday and I wanted to have a flower arrangement made for my girlfriend to pick-​up. Needless to say, the arrangement was beautiful and fragrant. And I really appreciated the extra touch that the Fiori’s staff member put into it by volunteering to call Erin and invite her down to pick up her surprise flowers. Total cost was approx. $ 40.
This is the 2^nd arrangement I’ve bought from Fiori’s since we moved to the Marina and I can say that I’ll be a repeat customer
