History

Established in 1979.

With over 30 years of retail experience catering to the busy tourist crowds of Fisherman’s Wharf, the folks at Footprint thought it was time to bring quality footwear and apparel to our neighbors in the Sunset District of San Francisco. Why?

Because other than the brief moments of time where we have the chance to sit down, our busy lives are characterized by the amount of time we spend on our feet. Running, standing, working, walking, jumping, exercising, cooking, cleaning… the list goes on and on.

Footprint is here to help alleviate the stress that often accompanies a list like that. Our excellent staff and wide range of brands will appeal to many tastes in both function and fashion.
