I have a narrow ankle which can turn to a glaucoma. Glaucoma is an emergency because you can lose vision on both eyes. Yesterday I had traumatic pain in my right eye. This morning a call my optometrist who told me I have to go to see a glaucoma specialist. She referred me to him. I call his office and despite that it could me a strong emergency they were not able to see me et offered me an appointment at the end of the month. I am glad I am a nurse and I know how bad it could if my angle get closed. I have no choice to go to the ER.
