Description

Specialties

Ready for a golf experience like no other in San Francisco? Gleneagles GC was featured on the Golf Channel and Golf Digest as one of the «must play» golf experiences in San Francisco. It’s an affordable, full-length course and you can play nine holes in 2 hours most days. Our new bentgrass greens rival any course in the region. Come out and experience it for yourself.

History

Established in 1962.

Designed on Jack Fleming, a protégé of Dr. Alister Mackenzie, Gleneagles GC has been a favorite of the golf community since 1962. Golfers return over and over because of the challenge and ability to play in 2 hours on most days.

The greens were replaced with «bentgrass», the same grass varietal as the Olympic Club and Harding Park and are among the best in the region. Gleneagles GC was rated #17 by Golf World Magazine of all 9-hole course in the U.S. and was featured on the Golf Channel as a «must play» by Golf Channel host Rich Lerner. The course has an active «golf club» that hosts tournaments twice a month.
